Not much to do. Just a small test making a MM engine in Construct. Construct doesn't have a palette change option, so no charge effects.

Wrong section.
This is actually the writing section. The staff only did this as a April Fools joke. OKAY GUYS, YOU CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING BACK NOW!!!

I don't care for April Fools. It's a stupid Holiday.

I downloaded it, tried it, but I got an error message when I tried to run it on my comp. It says I need the August 2008 DirextX update to run this application. Although I am sure I have the latest DirectX driver. WTF?
Also, do I need to download the music as well, or is that much optional? |

Haven't tried yours yet but how are you liking Construct? Is it easy to make games with?

Shows promise, other then the objects that clearly needed to be not visible were visible, but seeing that this isn't much of a proper demo, you're allowed that :P
And made in Construct? Lucky, I can't get Construct to work on my computer XD *gets an error that's probably related to his graphics card sucking since it happens whenever the graphics window opens* but from what I can tell, Construct looks like fun to use. Well, good luck with your project, it looks fun! I didn't find any real bugs/glitches, and since it's only a test, yea. Ladders could use a bit of refining and variable jumping is needed, but yea, you're doing good from what I can tell =D

Constrcut needs DX9 (Latest drivers). It's about as easy as MMF, but a little easier in my opinion.

It's still a beta though. I might just continue the MMEngine I was working on in MMF2. It's just that certain things Construct has that I wish MMF2 had. Like Attributes. You can set ANYTHING to be a solid. So Megaman will collide with anything with the "Solid" attribute clicked. You also add custom families (Behaviors).

That' engine might not happen. There isn't a way to swap colors in Construct and it Color swapping lags too bad in MMF2 (using 8 Bit). If I use 8bit sprites, it doesn't lag, but I'm not a fan of 8 bit. Only reason I used it in Construct was because it was east to animate.

A palette swap effect/behavior might happen in a future build, one of the Construct devs agrees it's just an awesome idea in general. But they're more focused on getting some major renderer changes and bug fixes done at the moment. They update Construct monthly, though, so who knows?
