The Dynasty Warriors games are crap. Bad voice acting and very bad AI. I had 20 enemy soldiers looking at me from 2 feet away for 3 minutes. Then I hear: "The enemy is approaching!" O RLY?!?!?!?!

I picked up that game though. Was crap after a while. But I spent so much time killing enemies that it was stupid. I think my records were in the 2000's. I spent way too much time on that game.

Though the game might be crap, it's a historic gem. Everyone of the characters were real chinese generals, too bad the personalities don't match.

Zhen-Ji, Dioa Chan (didn't even exsit in the real world let alone the game) and a few more female characters never were actully Chinese generals. The game is based on the novel romance of the three kingdom or something like that more then actully history. Though the archives section is a nice read on the game.

The game is a brilliant slice of "GO OVER THERE AND DESTROY THINGS" "ok, done that. Now what?" "More stuff to destroy" "OH SHIT YES!" 2-player alcohol fuelled carnage.

Take your lust for AI and plot, and shove it. I like the idea of beating the crap out of the japanese with a sword bigger than I am while war errupts around me.
Pity Empire was a bag of shit.

Also- play as Pang Tong, and just do his special. The HOP OF DEATH.

You know what I hate? On the first level with Lu Bu on DW3, if you get strong enough, you can take him to the fucking cleaners on the field. But if you challenge him to a duel, he pastes you regardless of stats.

I got him down to really low health, but then got killed after an hour or so of running around the ring, waiting for my bar thing to charge, spinning around like Top Man, (Gah, Megaman reference! Those from the old Cosmic Gaga board, think of George Bush on serious booze) then running around the ring again. Not something I'd reccomend.
