Default Anyone play Harvet Moon games?

I still don't get why i find them so addictive. I mean, all you do is farm for the most part. Any of you guys play them?

Currently i'm cuddling my pet rabbit. Haven't played Harvest moon but whatever gameplay pros it has it doesn't beat having the real pet. And that's only if you want to have a pet. That's me anyway.

Off-Topic: What's the rabbits name?

On-topic: I know the dating aspect doesn't make it addictive, probably the fact that it's realistic. ..., besides the fact that everyone is short and looks like a kid

Sounds like we're back to that "Nappies on protagonists don't make a plus" situation. :P

Nah, it's more of a case of "Chibi" characters than it is "Nappies on protagonists" in the case of Harvest Moon. The wii version of this game may prove interesting, as yo'll be doing the movements for real, I'd imagine, just without the fresh air of the real thing.

Harvest Moon is extremely addictive! I think it's the sense of progression you get keeps you hooked, like most RPG's really.
The only problem with Harvest Moon is when you've worked out a routine you find yourself doing the same pattern every 5 minutes. Then it feels like a chore playing it!

Not really. With the American stuff, it's a literal case of transforming them nto babies, complete with nappies etc. With Chibi's it's...well, making them cuter and easier to draw.
