Default Clerks 2 was surprisingly good

Just got back from seeing it on the big screen, and I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was fairly enjoyable and quite funny. Granted, it was not nearly as good as the original and it started off a little slow, but its still up there with some of Kevin Smith's other movies like Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Mallrats.

Well worth the six bucks, if you asked me. At the risk of sounding like an ad, I strongly suggest you all to check the movie out as well.

oh, EDIT: Though I have to admit that I don't see how it earned an eight minute or so standing ovation at Cannes.

Looking forwards to seeing it.

The only movies EVER worthy of a standing ovation are
- Dawn Of The Dead (remake)
- Big Trouble In Little China
