Then you'd have to do them yourself, since there are no more official sprites of a straight standing Wily...buuuut there were several edits and custom sprites. I wonder if anyone here has them.

Yea. I remember seeing them. While they're not official, just edits, I have seen MM7 Dr Wily standing strait at some point. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to take a look around.

This is a question about tile ripping moreso than a request:

Let's say a site had maps of Mega Man levels uploaded. Let's assume I can get permission to use the maps for ripping purposes and make sure to credit the map maker. If I get to use those maps for ripping tiles, am I allowed to submit those tiles? I searched for an answer to this question elsewhere on the site, but the closest I got was that you're not allowed to upload other people's work. I am talking about cutting tiles from a background someone else pieced together, but I'm not trying to steal their work outright.

In other words, is it a hard fast rule that the tiles come from a screenshot you took while playing the game on an emulator, or are you allowed to take less direct routes provided you have permission? Also, the site in question is Spriter's Resource, which has backgrounds of Mega Man levels uploaded but not tile sets per se. I want to ask them for permission to derive tile sets from those backgrounds, but before I do I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time.

If the answer is no, I guess I'll have to ask for Gemini Man's tile set since Snake Man was apparently already ripped but not uploaded to the gallery, for some reason. If I am allowed to rip tiles from SR's maps, I'll also take care of Hard Man, Magnet Man, Needle Man, and Spark Man, if they aren't already ripped.

EDIT: I discovered that Gemini Man and Spark Man's levels have animated tiles in them that aren't available in VGMaps, since their maps act like giant screenshots. So, I humbly request someone to rip those tiles for me. I got an e-mail from the person who made the maps granting me permission to use them for tile rips, so now all I need to know is if I'm allowed to submit those tiles. I'll still use them in my game regardless. On to Needle Man!

Not sure Brandom, but if you have doubt about tile ripping from maps, you can rip them using FCE Ultra eXtended Debugger (FCEUXD)'s PPU Viewer:

(Note: Huge 1061x1511 image due to the PPU Viewer tiles being shown with 2x size. But with it you can be sure no tiles used in the stage will be forgotten, and even find some unused tiles, like Gemini Man's long known lost planet.)

Mega Man X7:
Can someone rip the missing cutscenes from Mega Man X7, most from the 2nd half of the game? They are in the files from the folder DATA/EMI_DEMO.

I also wanted to know the right settings for the game. I tried to rip the icons from the weapons (from pause menu, not the HUD ones in INC), power ups, armor parts and tanks, but had no luck with the palette, and they appear stretched in the files like the MMX6 cutscenes. They can be found in two files, one being the "submenu" from the folder "emi_sub", below offset 72900. The closer I got was this (Looks like X and Zero switched weapons), so it only needs some custom color editing like the one in the black square to be usable.

I looked in the sprite sheets seen on the main website, and I noticed that there's one thing missing, concerning the Rompers; their carrier, the Kikyoon from Megaman 8.

Could someone make a sprite sheet of it and perhaps add it to the main site?

I need Model HX's saber poses without the saber slashes itself. Since the complete sheets over at Sprites INC. only featuer the poses with the layer of the sabers, I'm requesting it here.

I'm looking for the Robot Master Chosen/Weapon Get screen from Mega Man 9. Anyone know where that might be found?

Note that a Google search finds plenty of jpegs, but I need clearer images to work with.

I think we have those sprites ripped. That is if you're in the mugen community at the time we ripped them.

Anyway, I have the sprite set here for all models with saber detached from the sprites, including perfect X&Y axis.
