The following is a list of NPCs that appear throughout the RP. The list will be updated as the RP progresses and the NPC’s status changes. Please note that unless stated, all NPCs are controllable and killable, but they should not act outside of what would be normal for them. The list will update as the RP progresses, and a certain type of NPC will likely become “extinct” later on. Feel free to have acquaintances to your characters in one of these NPC classes, such as friend who’s sending you pictures (this means they’ll likely die however). Example: A guard won’t be tricked or swayed into giving you special treatment, but they can bring you your food/let you out when the shelter is handing out lunches. Alternatively, your friend sees your house, and uniforms you of its destruction.

Below is a list of available locations throughout the RP. For the most part, buildings can be damaged, for example denting a wall, but cannot be critically damaged by your characters, like destroying an entire wall or roof. Items within buildings are fully destructible, like a chair or table, but there can be consequences to this. The list will be updated as the RP progresses and new locations become available.

Here we go again!

Name: Col. Charles Jenkins (just call him Jenkins)

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Appearance:
Civilian: Jenkins tries to dress casually as possible, usually in a basic pair of jeans, with a basic t-shirt with no decoration on it. This may also be accompanied with a leather jacket, usually brown. He keeps his brown hair at a descent length, just a little longer than a crew cut. He has only one distinguishing feature, which is his hazel eyes, which are a striking golden color. For this reason, Jenkins tends to keep his black sunglasses on when he is awake. He has a very tall and wiry frame, with good lean muscle. Jenkins keeps his body trained up; he was raised as an army brat, and his father made him keep in shape.

Army:

In army uniform, he wears a dark navy urban/night camouflage body armour, with a tactical vest and a standard special forces helmet, with full HUD and all the works. He also wears a gauntlet on his right arm that activates his nanite armor, explained below. He also sports a scar below his right eye.

Height: 6 foot 3 inches, 6"5' with nanite armor

Weight: 185lbs, 200lbs fully nanite armored

Armor: Whatever a leather jacket can protect someone from. He wears light tactical armor, that is comprised of a special material that makes it even stronger than standard army heavy armor. Furthermore, he has a nanite based machine armor prototype that can be deployed from his wrist that, along with his skills, makes him a high threat to most adversaries. (NOTE: this in no way means he is as strong as the Vikings/Mezzanottes. However, may he be able to take one on with )

Weapons: Jenkins has a standard Bowie Knife he keeps at home for his safety. He now also carries 2 custom pistols, which are the spiritual successor to the Desert Eagle; they use .50 Action Express cartridges, with a depleted Uranium armor piercing round. As an alternative, he also keeps a few clips of incendiary rounds with him. However, his specialty now is grappling knives, in both his nanite armored and regular form. In regular form, the knives are thrown with choke wire. In armored version, they are special knives that are held together by threads of energy, which can cut through a lot of materials.

Skills: Has a BA in Mechanical Engineering, can cook for himself, knows kickboxing, has trained with his bowie knife, is trained to use firearms, specifically army standard pistols/sidearms. After a year or so into the service, he now has advanced training in many forms of combat, as well as increased tactical thinking.

Personality: Jenkins is very stoic, and usually keeps to himself. He is very disciplined, and was trained up by his father to be a soldier. He does not like being bored, and always wishes to be challenged. Jenkins hates when days are wasted on frivolous actions; he also hates those who can not be productive in a group, in those rare occasions he is actually forced into a group activity. This loner can operate socially, but usually he is very empty toward his fellow humans; in situations between doing something in a group and going at it alone, 4 out of 5 times he would choose doing it alone (the fifth time being situations he knows he has no chance operating alone). Most importantly, Jenkins is a survivor, and will use any means necessary to achieve his goals, and will dispose of those in his way of his goal. He will survive at any cost.

Goals: Jenkins wishes to join Project ARC to become a Mezzanotte because he believes it is the only program that could actually challenge him. Jenkins also figured that he has to do something besides these low grade jobs you can get with only a Bachelors degree. Besides, it would be a waste to have all the psuedo military training his father gave him go to waste, wouldn't it? Plus, their is the opportunity to get off this boring planet and possibly discover new things are also an incentive.

Current Goal: Find the vikings, study them, and try to take them down.

Name: Sgt. Major Anderson Grady
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Appearance: Sgt. Major Grady is fairly toned, but not excessively so, resulting from the standard exercise regimen applied to the armed forces, though given his posting and his equipment, he rarely applies his physical prowess. Red haired, green-eyed male with a 5-o'clock shadow and a few facial scars from taking a knife in "realistic" CQC practice. When off-duty, generally walks around in standard casual fatigues.

Height: Unarmored: 6'. Armored: 6' 7".
Weight: Unarmored: 250 lbs. Armored: 368 lbs.
Armor: Your character should not need armor right now. But, he does: fully-enclosed powered armor, though not exactly "top-of-the-line". This suit's pretty much a relic from the pre-unification days, since post-unification the need for systems like it have heavily diminished, and it is cheaper to maintain and upgrade them than produce new suits. It's been a month since maintenance checked it, and there are cracks forming in some of the environmental seals.
Weapons: Your character should not need weapons right now. But, he does: Just a .65 caliber semi-auto short-barrel pistol, though, pretty potent recoil dampening and his armor helps dissipate the rest. He doesn't carry the heavy weapons he usually does because his current posting mostly requires his armor to open and close a heavy blast-door. Otherwise, a .35 caliber pistol when off-duty.
Skills: Current military CQC, wide training with firearms, heavy-weapons specialization.

Personality: Fairly gruff and impersonal to those who he works with, short of his direct adjutant and one scientist. This attitude has mostly just developed to counter the superiority and "holier than thou" attitude that the scientists of the Facility have towards military types. Incidentally adopts this when dealing with similar people when on leave. Otherwise, he's an ok guy, helping strangers, lends a hand to friends, the kind of guy that aspires to the concept of helping those in need and at least being jovial to people you meet like some kind of World's Oldest Boy Scout, though the philosophy stops short when they've proven themselves to be a prick.

Goals: Hoping to eventually get released from service at the Facility, and try to join that Project Arc. Better to actively do something than stand around and make sure a bunch of guys in labcoats don't try to run off with some research material or other. Has placed 4 separate transfer requests, to no avail as yet.

A bit of background: Sgt. Major Grady is currently posted in an underground research facility, and largely kept in the dark about what research is occurring in the wing he and his subordinate are working in, though given that the only way in is a narrow corridor and requires three separate, increasingly armed guards and checkpoints may be an indicator.

Name: Dr. Leslie Carmichael
Gender: Female
Age: 29
Appearance: Dr. Carmichael is brown-eyed and black haired, with hair reaching her lower back in a relatively straight cut and parted at the left side of her forehead. Her left arm is a cybernetic prosthetic, having needed to be replaced after she lost her natural limb in a vehicular accident during her college tenure, age 21. Her general attire is a white labcoat, olive shin-length skirt, and a light blue turtle-neck shirt. Her labcoat also has her ID card pinned to the breast pocket. Fairly pretty and well formed, though not enough that she'd stand out in a room, especially with her concealing attire.

Weight: 146
Armor: Your character should not need armor right now.
Weapons: Your character should not need weapons right now.
Skills: Doctorate in micro-biology, Bachelor in chemistry and formerly licensed medical practitioner, police-taught self-defense techniques, moderate with pistols.
Personality: Dr. Carmichael is generally reclusive, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a keen eye for the goings-on around her, or the emotions of the people involved. She has a tendency to focus on her projects, to the point that she loses herself in her work, at times. She's also a bit of a prodigy, capable of picking up on things she's taught fairly quickly.
Goals: She's in correspondence with some members of Project Arc, and is wanting to transfer to the program to help engineer the microbes necessary to aid in the colonization effort, like nitrogen-fixing bacteria for lunar soil.

A bit of background: Dr. Carmichael, Sgt. Major Grady, and his subordinate are, to their opinion, the only "normal" people at the Facility, as the other scientists seem to have no lives outside of their work. She's also very good friends with Grady's subordinate.

Name: Pvt. 1st Class Katrina Bradbury
Gender: Female
Age: 26
Appearance: Katrina is built lithely, and long-limbed, with brown hair that reaches her shoulders, and her irises are died gold, due to a dare she took when she was extremely drunk at age 18. She has a tattoo on her left arm of a tiger on the prowl, but no marks whatsoever, unlike her superior officer. Which was, incidentally, because she never lost at the fights, no, sorry, "realistic CQC". When off duty, she generally wears a white sleeveless shirt, a pale blue "skirt" that reaches all the way to her ankles, and white slipper-shoes that barely make a sound when she walks.

Weight: 178 lbs
Armor: Your character should not need armor right now. But, she has it: She's equipped with a standard unpowered armor system, bullet-resistant bodysuit with integrated armor plating, and fully enclosed helmet with rebreather. It also has a heavy backpack with ammunition, med kits, and a pair of machetes.
Weapons: Your character should not need weapons right now. But, she does: An assault rifle of a standard variable-shot .223 caliber setup, and twin machetes.
Skills: Field medical training, advanced CQC, and learned mechanical skills in terms of rigging and repair.
Personality: Katrina is easily bored by repetitive tasks, but does love situations that she deems as a challenge, things that are new, different, and the like. She does enjoy solitude and concentration every now and again, having originally been posted as a scout, and really doesn't know HOW the heck she and her superior got stuck with this job.
Goals: She really, really hates her job being a damn security puke at the Facility, since there's no way in hell her skillset is anything approaching useful for a security posting. She'd much, much rather be at Arc, just to have some change of pace instead of staring at the same goddamn door every goddamn day, regardless of what the consequences may be.

A bit of background: They've had experience in working with "black" operations before, which is why Katrina and the Sgt Major got stuck with the job. Of course, THIS wasn't what they usually did, its just some REMF misread their freaking files. Well, at least she got to meet and get to know Dr. Leslie. But they've all got the notion to try getting out and going to that Arc project.

Appearance: Tall and lanky, Eric normally moves with careful precision, giving him a sort of subtle grace. His unruly black hair tends to hang over his green eyes, which are slightly closer to each other than normal, and filtered through his glasses. He has a sharp chin and thin lips, which are perpetually frowning, or at least straight. He tends to wear his shock resistant suit from his engineering jobs, even when off duty, but when he doesn't, he tends to wear casual clothing in dark colors. Prefers boots over shoes. Eric has two cybernetic implants, which he crafted himself. A communications implant above his left ear, and an implant in his left forearm which allows him to interface with most standard electronics. It also tells time.

Weight: 162 lbs.

Armor: Not actually armor, but a shock resistant suit. See skills for reason.

Weapons: A single .35 semi-automatic pistol, not kept on his person.

Skills: Masters degrees in cybernetics and electronic engineering. Also possesses substantial knowledge of robotics and electrical engineering. A reasonable shot with a pistol, but lacks training in any other type of weapon. Eidetic memory (basically, it's like photographic memory, but not as cool. He has to actively commit something to memory, and actively try to recall it, but so long as he takes the few seconds to commit it, he will always be able to recall it within a few minutes. This actually doesn't do much, I basically have it there as reasoning for bringing up information stated several pages back from wherever, which everyone will do. It's basically just me giving him an excuse to use this knowledge.)

Personality: Eric is very timid, preferring to avoid fights wherever possible, but that does not by any means imply that he is unable to effectively defend himself. This also affects people's first impressions of him, as he tends to stammer and jerk around new people, instead of using his normal, more precise movements. Eric is also very paranoid, and has taken extensive pistol training as a result. Even though humanity has been unified, there is still crime. He will also scan any new area he enters, committing details to memory, in case he should require the info. This actually saved his life once.

Eric tends to become very engrossed in his work, ignoring people who intrude upon him, and being very curt with those who persist, unless they have good reason.

Goals: Eric, being a cybernetics expert, and obsessed with the field, is very interested in the Mezzanote project. He hopes to maybe be able to work with their development team, or even become one. At the very least, he hopes to learn something new.

Additional information: Stammers when excited.
Note: Do not actively try to destroy his work. He will get very angry, and might even sic some bots on you. He may not be allowed to keep combat bots, but even a repairbot can zap or stab you.

Yeah, lern. I may not have posted anywhere but I've checked up on the site every once in a while since January, and there's not much of a rush to post when things are dead and I'm more focused on school. :P

Anyway... here we go. Again. I'll probably edit this later, since Zy sprung this up on me rather suddenly and I start classes again tomorrow.

Name: Ryan Rayland
Gender: Male
Age: Twenty-four
Appearance: With a short black hairstyle, icy blue eyes, and a body built like an MMA fighter, Ryan has the look of a man one typically wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. That aside, however, Ryan also maintains a relatively casual look, almost always wearing an ensemble of a t-shirt, jeans, and black working boots. He has no tattoos or piercings, and aside from a few scars on his hands his body is relatively undamaged.

Weight: 210 lbs
Armor: Your character should not need armor right now.

Skills: Good old-fashioned United States Marine Corps training. CQC, Guns, vehicles: You name it, he's probably been trained in it in some form or another. He has also trained in a couple forms of martial arts outside of his military training, not only to have methods of fighting where his focus isn't on killing his foe, but as a form of self-discipline.

Outside of military training, Ryan is fairly decent at cooking. Not exceptional by any means, but good enough.
Personality: Despite his training in the Corps, Ryan is actually a relatively relaxed person, provided he stays in a good mood. He's got his good days and bad days like anyone else, but for the most part he can be rather sociable and friendly, not having a reason to make a bad first impression. To most people, Ryan is the kind of guy one would be more than happy to have watching their back. He also has a strong respect for authority, especially for those who have served in some sort of armed forces.

Of course, he isn't the kind of person to take a bunch of crap either. Sure, it takes quite a bit to get on his bad side, since it's somewhat difficult to top the kind of crap Marine Corps Drill Sergeants have pulled on him in the past, but it's not impossible by any means. More often than not he will simply choose not to associate himself with people that make a point to get on his bad side, but there have been people in the past that he had to deal with in more... forceful means.

Long story short, Ryan's the kind of person one would call a good friend and a valuable ally... or the kind of person that could leave someone rather paranoid and watching their back to make sure he isn't trying to break it.
Goals: To put it rather simply... Ryan had two choices, being in the middle of a term of service in the Marine Corps. Sign up and volunteer for this "Project Arc" that everyone was talking about, or do what most Marines did in peaceful times like these and do some kind of work on a military base somewhere. Not one to let himself take a boring job as an MP officer or some other 'grunt-work', Ryan decided to opt-in to Project Arc as one of their 'volunteers'.

Appearance: Tall, trained body (85, 65, 80). Light skin. Has tied long red hair, greenblue eyes, pretty face. Moves around lightly and very confidently. She always has a faint grin on her face. She wears a white labcoat she likes to keep clean, she never buttons it though. She wears a blue sweatshirt and beneath it a slim bulletproof vest. She alway carries around a silver cane.
Height: 1,8 metres
Weight: 65 kg
Armor: bulletproof vest beneath her clothes
Weapons: her cane, which is actually a sword. On one end is also a paralyzer
Skills: She grew up in a royal family, which means she has all sorts of eduaction. She is a famous bio-engineer and also knows some things about robotics.
She is skilled in various martial arts (Karate, Judo). Has some shooting skills, is a very talented fencer.
Personality: She's a bit aloof, but not outright cocky. She is very curious and likes studying new technologies. Olivier is very careful and she never trust others outright, she likes to have things under control that's why she's always prepared for the worst. She has a dark brand of humor.
She can lose her temper really fast, but can calm herself really fast.
Goals: She wants to know where the project will lead. She joined mainly out of curiosity and she is willing to dodge the project if it doesn't fullfil her expectations...which are pretty low to begin with.

Skills She's a partially practicing Psychiatrist, licensed neurosurgeon, and... a practicing magician. She's has a keen eye, and a photographic memory, and quite adept at reading people. To con artist levels.
Personality Generally friendly, outgoing, helpful, and gains trust easily.
She loves to entertain, and most of all, mess with peoples heads. All the cheery, bubbly side of her vanishs when she's irratated, angry, or just upset though, leaving only a cold, pretty much heartless persona behind. This cold side also shows itself in reaction to some horrible things. Sure if someone is dyingshe'd be the first to try to help save the person, and try her hardest at that to the point of getting upset... but once their dead she'd pretty much shove the body out of the way and brush her hands off and snap back almost into what ever mood she was in before. Same goes for mutilation and torture... while its going on she'd try to help... but once its over, she just doesn't care. Even if the person was close to her or even if it was herself. The mind absolutely fascinates her, and she keeps trying to learn more about it. She's unorthadox when she can get away with it and, if the situation lends to it, she can be quite dramatic at times.

Goals: To be honest, she's more interested in the people the project has attracted than the project itself. She'd love to be a part of it... Ideally as an entertainer (Somebody is going to have to keep morale up, might as well be her), but as psychiatrist would interest her just as well.

Notes The neurosurgeon license and degree is more of a trophy degree/license than anything else. She hasn't actually done any brain surgery yet, but keeps up with the field otherwise. Also it shouldn't need to be said but... She's not actually magical. Master of illusion, type. More of a Trucy Wright mets Patrick Jane sort of charector.

Other NotesHonestly, I'd go with a straight up magician (N

Age: 35
Appearance: Zeon's muscles are like that of a body builder, and he is pretty well built. He has black spiky hair, brown eyes, and is very strong. He is clean shaven, and usually wears black jeans and a gray t shirt. He has black cowboy boots, that are large enough to fit an entire normal shoe in it. Most think he is some type of lone bad-ass, because of the way he looks.

Skills: Zeon is an experienced fighter. He worked in black ops for some time, but he eventually started training people. Zeon advanced his knowledge of martial arts to the point where he created his own fighting style, the Phantom Style. He is very proud of this. Due to his time in black ops, he is good with weapons, more so with close range weapons than long range (although he knows very well how to use guns). He lives on his own, despite being almost middle-aged. Mostly because of some terrible things that happened in his past.
Personality: Zeon is actually quite kind despite his "evil" appearance. Most think he is a bad person, although once someone talks to him, they realize he is actually just normal person. He is a little blunt sometimes, but he always apologizes later on. He tries to lighten the mood whenever possible despite the fact he has a terrible sense of humor.
Goals: Zeon wants to be a part of the project so he can do something useful. Now, Zeon teaches people his fighting style, the Phantom Style. He got tired of teaching people to fight, and looks for a new purpose. He really just wants the recognition. He did have someone in his past that killed a lot of people that were close to him, and if he meets that person, he plans to kill that person. Even if he gets sentenced to death for it.

The following is a list of NPCs that appear throughout the RP. The list will be updated as the RP progresses and the NPC’s status changes. Please note that unless stated, all NPCs are controllable and killable, but they should not act outside of what would be normal for them. The list will update as the RP progresses, and a certain type of NPC will likely become “extinct” later on. Feel free to have acquaintances to your characters in one of these NPC classes, such as friend who’s sending you pictures (this means they’ll likely die however). Example: A guard won’t be tricked or swayed into giving you special treatment, but they can bring you your food/let you out when the shelter is handing out lunches. Alternatively, your friend sees your house, and uniforms you of its destruction.

Below is a list of available locations throughout the RP. For the most part, buildings can be damaged, for example denting a wall, but cannot be critically damaged by your characters, like destroying an entire wall or roof. Items within buildings are fully destructible, like a chair or table, but there can be consequences to this. The list will be updated as the RP progresses and new locations become available.
