I prefer the idea you stole from me, AKA #1.
Ok, so it's not mine, but an aspiring mastermind like myselft (can't WAIT for that Darwin Award!) must be credited for his EXTREMELY useful ideas that definitely can't be thought of by a chimp.

I say go with ace's suggestion, it seems organized enough.

Well... I kinda think it should operate a bit more like the Blue Inc. (The Normal Page): Still divided into Series Sections, with the Character Portraits at the Top.

Since I'm a Zero Fanatic/Spriter, I'll use him as an example:

Go to Blue Inc., Click "PD" Button. Site changes to Red, with the same Buttons at the top of the Main Page (MM Classic, X, BN, Zero, ZX, StarForce). Click the "MMBN" Button, and press on Zero EXE's Face, where all the Zero EXE Sprites would be Displayed.

Another thing we could do is just keep the Same Portraits as the Blue Inc. has, and then have, like, MMNT as a Selectable Game Beneath the Character Portraits.

It's hard to explain, but I think we should just keep it as much like the Original Inc. as we can to avoid confusion.

I know this topic is well over two months old now, but I was wondering, is PD SQL-based, or file-based? Because, you see, if it's the former, it wouldn't be a too big of a hassle to put a sort of customizable search way.

For example, if you want to look per creator, you can see what that person has done, may it be in icons or as whole sheets below each other.

However, if you want a certain style to be used, you can easily search for the style, just by picking a different element.

Knowing ACE, he copied the main site format, so it's pretty much file-based.

A thought. It may have been said, but it's 4:30 AM and I'm not reading through 3 pages of posts, You could add a search function to make things easier to find. That way, people could just type what they want, and if their english is halfway legible, then they will be directed to what they need, or not.

I like BBD's suggestion. I would rather have all the available sprites on one page so I can more easily compare them.

I think you would still need a separate section for non-megaman cross overs.
The whole thing would be kind of like this:

Main Icons by Series: Classic, X, Zero, etc. + an icon for Cross-overs called Other Worlds.
*Each game is organized on the series page with links for it's
sub-categories just like on the blue side.
*The Other Worlds section would only be for non-megaman sprites in megaman styles with groupings by megaman series.
*Main character icons would still be included in each section.
Link Groupings by Game under each Series Page: Enemies, Bosses, etc.
*Organized just like blue side.
*Also to include an extra "game" called Cross-Over for Megaman sprites crossed into other worlds.
*The links in the Cross-Over group would include links for pages
containing sprites for a given game world style like Super Mario Bros. or Super Metroid.
Page Contents Grouped by Sub-category:
*Main groupings on each page instead of another tier of links.
*Main groupings include 8-bit, 16-bit & 32-bit.
*Sub-groupings for additional categorization.
*Sub-groupings include Extensions, Edits, Scratch/Custom, etc.
This way new users aren't confused by a second type of organization. Also people can see sprites together on a single page wile still separating the sprites into useful groupings.

Dunno if anyone already said it, but we could keep them organized by series and style, in hyperlinks, and next to the text, we could put " - Provided by (Submitter's name(s)).
That would require things to be put into hyperlinks, though... so another idea would be to just put a credits listing at the bottom of each page. Whoever submitted in the left column, what sheet they submitted on the right.

Whatever the change, it's gonna take some doing. Can't make change without sacrifice, though, so we'll see.

I realy like ACE's idea, though I think it could be diferent. My example is below.

>Person wants to see if ChaoticNemisis's custom Zero(MMZ) sprites have been updated
>>Goes to expantion
>>>Selects MMZ style
>>>>Clicks on ChaoticNemisis's link
>>>>>Finds new Customs and wants them.

Even though it might not be as efficient, If you like someones Custom style, Its alot easier to find (I repeditively update my PD thread, next update the 11th). this will also mean no signature is required if you want to give credit.
