Not that I'm really that bothered, but I might have a look if only to see what half the internet has been yapping on about for too long. It's on Jetix UK today (Saturday) 5pm and 8pm.
THAT IS ALL.

Wow...it was horrible in Japanese (No plot at all, all the character designs in the Anime were horrible) I can only imagine it in english....Naruto= DBZ in a Ninja Suit
Naruto has the follwoinggood things going for it:
- Great animation for a TV series
- Has it's great fight scenes here and there
- NINJAS DAMMIT
and bad points:
- Filer episodes that er...fill up too many episodes.
- Like DBZ, it drags itself out too much a lot of the time.
But why didn't Toonami get it? They're losing out by letting Jetix grab this.

Since I dislike Naruto (okay out of the 21751389712487 episodes the series has, I've only watched 10 or so so I might have missed at on the "good" parts and I also hate the bloody character designs) I'd probeley avoid watching it on a regular bases, although I'd look into the dub to see how it is.

Comapred to other recent anime dubs on the telly (Sonic X, One Piece), a good job has actually been donw with Naruto, IMO. They haven't cut out all of the blood from what I've seen, just reduced it in places. I'nm actually pretty darn surprised they kept the Sexy no Jitsu as well...I was betting that was gonna be cut but they proved me wrong.

From what I've seen Naruto does have blood in the episodes. And I think Adult Swim is going to air Bleach not Toonami.
Jetix here in the US is just Power Rangers and kid stuff. Naruto on Jetix here? Never!

Yep, I was right Naruto does have blood in it. I'm watching it now and Naruto has a pool of blood where his face hit the ground. And Riku this is on the toonami airing of Naruto.

Yea, but so what? It isn't supposed to reflect ACTUAL ninjas it's an animated tv show that is supposed to ENTERTAIN it's viewers. And that's what it does.
Look, Naruto is an okay anime. Not awesome, but not bad ya know? Just forget it! If you have something to say about it and another person says the opposite, don't argue forever and not get anywhere with it, just except the fact that everyone has there own reason to like or hate it! Got it?

I wasn't intending to insult you,but the thing is several people approch me everyday and ask me to proform the "sexy jitzu", which is, to my knowlege, not possible, and when I say I can't they call me a "faker" and usually kick me in the shin.

I would probably like it more if people didn't take it so seriously. I mean, just because it's based on Japanese history doen't mean it's 100% true.

Yea, I agree with you, I mean It's just entertainment. Some friends of mine take it too seriously. Which is funny at times, all I have to say is Gara sucks monkey balls and I pissed everyone off ^_^ good times.. Gooood Timessss..

Naruto, just another anime that fanboys can rage at. Yet try to denounce it, and you get retards with the names of "Uzamaki10" or "NarutonNinja!!" coming at you screaming that this show is the best thing to ever happen to them and that ninjas can perform these said attacks. My response?
"I'm gonna shoot your ass with a gun. Let's see your secret Jitzus doge my bullets."
The end result?
One rabid fanboy banzored me from his 10 member fantasy forum, which is probably dead now. Said fanboy probably later tried to try some Jitzu and got hit by a bus...
My conclusion:
It's ok to watch this to pass the time, but when dumbasses like that start taking the show way too seriously, It's time to embrace the noose...
Overall, It's decent, I just don't like it too much...Naruto fanboys are almost as worse as Megaman fanboys...
or final fantasy fanboys....Fire! damn it! it never works!
NAruto actually started off really good for me and i did enjoy it alot, but now all naruto is now are fillers, fillers and more fillers that can drive anyone intohating the show, its become proper cheesy and crap (like DragonballZ) but i always thought that ninjas werent meant to be plain clothed for a start :P

Naruto...just thinking about it makes me freaking mad! such a fake show...hell, they don't even use swords! at all! all they know are tricks and kunais...or as they call it...Shuriken...I hate it! People all look at me mad and stuff cause they know Samurai and ninjas don't get along....all I have to do is listen to them calling me names and stuff, I'm so pissed at it...well, I'm letting my emotions get in the way, sorry for all the flaming and hating at the series.

Nah, I'm a big fan of Naruto myself (up to episode 135, at the very least.... **** filler!), though I do have to admit that the uberfans can get quite annoying at times. Then again, the same's true for anything...... just think of how many horrible fanboys exist for every form of popular media that puts decent fans to shame and utterly ruins the show in the eyes of the unknowing.....
..... though it would be nice to have an enemy in Naruto that didn't end up being an emo *****......

Which begs the question- What sort of person lurks in the shadows of one of their chums? Some friend.

You complain about the Uzumaki5739 and Naruton838934's, that stands true for anything, there are ne0 and M0rpheus's, SuperVegetaGoku's, Rokkuman's, rockman's, protoman's, cutman's :g-Gaga:. cloud's, sephiroth/Zephiroth's everywhere...
But back on track I enjoy Naruto, that being said I enjoy DBZ as well, but in manga form where they don't blab for 6 hours before doing any fighting :g-Gaga:
So pretty much, anything English official translated is pretty lame (VIZ Media anyone?). Fan scanlations are good,

See for yourself, although - on a sidenote things like violence and the sexy no jutsu is a bit less censored in the manga - SnJ's clouds are thinner, there is one decapitation(semi-shilloute(sp?)) - so if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, you have been warned
