764These are my first sprites I have made by stratch. First!
They are MMBN virus sprites. I already noticed the outline is a little odd but I just want someones opinion.
what are the names of these viruses? cause they look good...missing a little bit of shading, but good.
The outline doesn't look too odd, but something is definetaly wrong with them. (Sorry).

I was hoping it would be some type of trap. The chip of it stands in the middle of the squares and fires in all directions, but the virus stands in the middle and hits all exept for one of the squares.765 if you have any ideas for a name go on and try.

Rakia's right, theres something wrong but I can't put my finger on it, generally they are good though, nice work.

very good Idea. I was showing how it could attack. If anyone uses this then they could have it attack any way they want.:g-winky:yet it only has four arms......
probably be cool if you could have shoot a torpedoe down the middle row. that way it could attack every panel.

I won't be able to make sprites for a while until my computer is back and working. I have to just use this cruddy laptop for talking. Its a little hard to make sprites without a mouse. I really need help with Ideas. I have one but it could take some time on making it.

945 here is the water virus for megaman battle network. Now how it attacks is it summons two little squishies next to it when it sits in the middle back row. Then all three enemies use their attack. The way to dodge it is to wait for the flashing squares to appear then go on them. There can only be two blocks able to rise up. Then the blocks will rise for you to evade the attack. Im having a hard time searching for a name. I'm still waiting for more ideas, but I really need to start writing my book so It may be a while before I begin to start seriously making sprites so rapidly.
You could have just edited your post.
Anyways, on topic.
It doesn't really look like water to me. Maybe study AquaMans attacks or something.
Is the name Squishy taken already? Cause that sounds like a good Battle-Network type name for an enemy like that.

Actually, the name squishy was just a joke, but I guess it actually does sound like a megaman battle network enemy name. :g-laugh: So do you like them? I made them at like 11:30 last night. It was my first home made water sprite. Thanks for the tip though.
I like the idea and general shape, but the shading kinda reminds me of news print. It'd hard to explain. I think if you took Rakia's advice to study water a bit more it could help.
BTW, I love the Phoenix you did a page back.

Double posts are alright for updates. I think your brush should paint a picture resembling the attack. For example, a blue triangle for that icicle. Not a perfect triangle, but like it was hand-drawn. You could call him The paint brush virus. I don't know how many letters there are in a name in BN. Maybe "Pntbrush" or "PntBrsh" or "Paintbrush" or something like that. But Paintbrush might be taken. Brushy? Color? Painter? I dunno, just throwing stuff out there.

I like those little bunny things so I really like the ninja's. Your a very talented scratch spriter for just starting. I draw alot to but it hasn't really transitioned to my scratch spriting. But nice all around job I'll check back here every so ofter for updates.

hey man, for some reason I can't see any of the sprites you've made, but they all sound really cool and everyone seems to be liking them. I was wondering if you or somebody knew what the problem is.
I ask specifically because I've been looking for an in battle pose sprite of Glyde for forever so I'd really like to figure out why I cant see it >.<

The sprites in this topic range from usable to unusable.
Generally the viruses aren't accepted - they don't match the BN style at all.
Glyde is providing you remove the lenseflair in the first frame.
I also know full well that lan's old navi is just a Megaman "edit" in the anime itself so finish off its frames and i'll accept that too.
Need to see more of Shiningman too. From the Anime right?

Wow, these are all really awesome! Especially Glyde! He's frowned upon by Capcom. It's nice to see more Glyde sprites, just because the official sprites are so few.
Good job!
But, minor flaw in the sheet's organization for Glyde: the cannon is facing the wrong way.
