Articulated Thinking v.s Instincts

That is to say. If you were given a choice, would you try and think out the possible outcomes or would you just got with whichever option you liked best? I personally choose instincts.

I would say that it depends quite heavily on the situation. I think the real key is to balance the two; to understand which situations in which to think, and which to trust your instincts, because, depending on the situation, one may be a considerably better choice than the other.
That being said, this balance is obviously quite a difficult to achieve.

There are however cases where your instincts seem to be the only choice. Many people leave on gut feelings alone and they seem to always have the best lives. I am however a person that thinks stuff through before doing it. I only follow my gut when a bad premonition comes over me.
