Hey, I'm kind of new to Megaman spriting, and I've been trying ZX style. I started with something small, some edits of Grey, I just changed his pants. Even if it's not much, I kind of like it:

I made the standing and the running sprites for him, but I want to make his whole sheet.
I also animated these:

So, how are these? What can I improve on them?
EDIT: I just spotted some wrong pixels in one of the frames in the first animation, I'll try to fix it

Well, first off, change some colors on the running pose frames: 5, 6, 7 & 8 (still had some of the old black color you were using). Also change the animation, it doesn't run fluently if you look at it right.
That's about what I can tell you about it.
he doesn't run fluently because he loops with the first running pose, which is a no no.
Thanks for the ratings! I fixed the problems in those frames, and I think I know why it loops, I think it needs one more frame between the last and the first so it can flow better...

It seems I didn't need to add a new frame, I just had to align things right >.>
I'm really sorry for double posting, but can someone please help me? I made Grey's jumping sprites, but I can't animate them no matter what I do >.>
Can somebody please do this for me? I just don't know where to place the wires or how to align the sprites >.>

No, it still is influent. You didn't listen to me. Do NOT repeat the first pose, as it's 'intermission' between the running and standing. Loop ONLY the second-last poses, without the first.
and animate the jumping pose.
I am not repeating the first pose, and I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you are trying to say. I would be grateful if you could explain it in another way.
And as I said in the other post, I don't know how to animate the jumping pose, if I knew I would already done that. If you have any tips that can help me, I would be glad to hear them.
By the way, thank you for helping me
Oh, if you're not then you're missing a pose inbetween the second and the last. Yes, you're deffinitly missing one.

I used the tiles from woodman stage from MM2 and Gutsman stage from MM1
It's quite good. Here're some errors:
A: The ladder being distant from the ledge on the middle area, it is possible to jump, but seeing as the screen should change whilst jumping, it may be confusing and you'll fall into the spikes
B: What is the room on the lower left for if you go RIGHT from the ladder? If enemies spawn from there, put some holes where they spawn.
C: That is one empty room(right room)

This is going to be the a room of the first stage of a game I'm making. It's a sequel for Megaman ZXA, but it's going to be in 8-bit.
btw, I found some other mistakes here and there, but I already edited it (I also edited the first post)

i think that is better but i think what he was asking is, what is saposed to be up on that ledge?(past the pits on the right side of the stage)
Uh, I didnt get what Xearez said, but I didn't mean pits. I meant holes, like the hole in the upper left. And, by the way, I meant there's nothing in that giant room so it's useless, that's why I suggested holes. And finally, The right area of the room is just empty, that's what I mean.
in any case, the only fix you did was ladder. :P
Oh, I get it now. In that area I'll add some enemies, but I'm adding them right in Game Maker, that's why the enemies aren't there yet. Actually, that picture is a screenshot from Game Maker xD
I'll make a topic in the Games section when I finish it, so you can see it better.
nonono I mean the rooms are useless. You just skip the rooms. They're too large and 'empty' for it.
that's because that's the first stage and because my deadline for the demo is on Christmass, so I don't have time to program much, I am also considering on changing the ladders for moving platforms, which are easier to code.
btw, the room was too small, you barely had space to jump, so I made it bigger.
I will still add the enemies, to add some challenge (well, not that much of a challenge, but makes it hm... less easy)
and as that's the first stage of the game, I want to make it easy, and as you're playing as Grey you can't do things like dashing and wall kick
No, you don't need space to jump if you just go through the room. You don't enter it technically as the way down is on the start of the room, so it's useless.
well, the demo is finished. There are some bugs, you'll probably see that you get stuck when an enemy hits you and that when you die you keep dying. I'm well aware of that and I'm already working to fix it. Its Good. I like it. Just, The Vent, his running does need fixing. It goes back to the start too early.
Plus, i like that level. id like to see more.
Thanks! I'm glad you like it. It might take a while before I make the next level because there will be a new playable character (Model AČ), and I'll have to add cutscenes or whatever is the proper name, and I have no clue on how to add it...

Well, today I made my first exe sprite. I made cubit foxstar in bn4 style, but used the colors from megaman zero 3. I used Megaman's sprite as a base, but I completely reshaded it, here it is:

Go easy on me, it was my first try xD
prety hefty but still a symple megaman edit D:
Base it on someone with a more fitting form, like shadowman or some floating MMBN guy.
