A few days ago, a friend and a member here, Evan Cain, passed away. He was only 23. It was cancer that killed him, he had been fighting it for some time and in the end he lost the fight against it, but he never gave up nor did it ever break him. He was a fighter until the very end.

Around here, he was around in the sprites section, honing and perfecting his craft along with his other talents. He was a friend of mine and a great guy, and I'm gonna miss him.

Sami my friend, rest in peace.

Even if you have never met the man, you still feel a twinge of sadness at his passing... May he rest in peace.

It seems I hear too much of this sort of news recently...

Though I did not know him, and I may not believe, I shall pray for him to find peace wherever his soul may go.

That's sad. It's always so sad whenever someone passes away, whether you knew the person or not.

Nicktendonick, sorry to hear you lost your friend. My condolences to you.
May Sami rest in peace.

I request that his name be retired and that it can not be used my another member out of respect.

Now onto personal feelings, he will be greatly missed. From what I saw of his work and attitude, he worked hard in anything he did and he made no trouble as much as he could help it. Definitely a user to be highly regarded as a strong role model.

Damn, so many news of such things lately.
He was a pretty cool guy, may he rest in peace.

My condolences, to think that you were a real friend of him.
Hope you're not taking this too rough.

In truth, I'm not a IRL friend. He IRL friend contacted one of our online friends, and she spread the message.

A lot of this sort of thing seems to be happening lately. I don't know what words to say as all I feel is remorse for your loss. <=/

I've never met him, but he was a brave person if he kept fighting that disease with the will to live, despite what his life would be like if he never died.
May Sami's soul rest in peace.
