I'm developing a game, and am in need of spriters(though for not just sprites). Below is all the proof I have so far, along with a brief summary, and needed positions.

Name: Organoid
Program Language: GML
Genre: Shooter
Sub Genre: RPG
Style: Birds-eye view (ie. SAS2: Zombie Apocalypse)
Positions Needed: Spriter(Use of Adobe Illustrator, or other vector based imageing software prefered); Background Artist; Object Artist; Menu/title Artist and Parts artist (Neither are Req, since I can do these)
Backstory: The game is set in the future, and Humans have become greatly endangered. The entire cause is the Omega Brain, a super computer. Omega was programed to connect and run most of the worlds Drones. Though after 20 years, an event of near apocalyptic proportion took place. Omega's program had somehow been altered, leading it to the decision that the human race was no longer required. In 2 days, the world population fell from 14.68 Billion, to just 13million.
Summary: ERIC is just your average worker droid, but that soon changes, as fate would have it. Exactly 2 years after "Aftermath", an explosion rocked the warehouse. A manditory evacuation was called. ERIC, returning for his work, gets cought up in a struggle between 2 factions. After discovering his true Identity as an Organoid, he joins the resistance force known as "Babylon", or known to the Sleepers as the "Mavericks". The Fate of humanity rests in your code.

If you want to Apply, say so, along with any experience, and I'll give you Description of what job is entails, and a project (small) to evaluate your skill/style.
PS. I strongly suggest you play SAS or SAS2: Zombie Apocalypse before you apply for a position, so you get an Idea on the style. Programers also welcome.

Shoot-Em-Up. Like Gradius and R-Type.

Ahhh. Then Not as much. Think of it as Gradius, but top down, has a story, you can select missions, and you actualy have objectives other than survive and Kill everything.

Still counts as a Shoot-Em-Up. I've played Top down Shmup's before. Like Raiden. Tho your idea of objectives and what not is pretty cool.

Thanks, though I have a dillemma. What should the currency be called? I need a name since you will be able to buy and, to an extent, make wepons(make as in Add a part/replace one, such as replacing the clip packet, so you hold more bullets, or have a faster reload)

Well, you can use what I do in my RPG I'm working on. Call it Vera. Or something. It's up to you really. Just be creative.

Oh, and I frgot to mention you can buy and upgrade just about any bodypart(fairly big, like, the smallest, other than the eyes, is the sole pad on the foot). You (probably) will also get skills, to.

I don't see any proof. Wouldn't this go in the idea section? This is only a concept so far.

A fairly good one to a certain extent, but yeah whatevs.

IF You want proof, on monday, I will have A screenshot of the game. I just started the programing, and am in need of spriters so I can get a WORKING beta up and running.

You dont need a beta or a demo.

Also, just use squares and circles and lines.
