So some of you may have heard of the game or played it, or heard of the movie, or seen it. This is my personal suggestion to you if you can afford the game and know where you can buy it.

I've become addicted to it, as you may have seen

Why?
Well, Lemme review the game and it's conept.

Concept and gameplay
You play as Wesley Gibson, Son of Cross, King of Assassins. Your heart beats about 400 times a second, increasing your instincts and allowing you to bend bullets and curve them. You can also jump from cover to cover, and jump even faster when your screen dims white(You gotta stun an enemy without aiming, by shooting from the cover.) You can also jump slower from cover to cover, but in slow motion, allowing you to shoot enemies from one side to another without being hit. At some cutscenes you have to shoot the enemy's bullets and the enemies in slow motion. Sometimes you use snipers, sometimes machine guns, and at times you play Cross' story, trying to save his son in the past. The mouse sensitivity here is HUGE, and still, after some getting used to, it's TOO LOW. Unfortunately, Sometimes the mouse sensitivity is too high, like whilst sniping, Curving bullets, slow motion, etc. Then again, high sensitivity whilst curving may occasionally make you head shot, also giving you one heck of a cutscene. Also, for some reason, the mouse slipping on high sensitivity makes you leave your cover. I died atleast 15 times in the final area because of that, and about 30 times in the entire game. Gameplay wise, Knifing is a must. Extremely handy, fun, and doesn't waste any ammo. Infact, I went crazy in the last tower and killed EVERYONE WITH KNIVES. Everyone except for floating people.
Knifing
Is extremely easy. Just run up to an enemy, press E, and he dies. No matter what. It's fun at first and gets boring extremely quick.
Towards the end, especially at the bell tower, it becomes extremely fun again, as all the enemies are placed in spots you can just run around like jack the ripper.
Concept: 9/10
Holy crap. Slow motion, ninja, assassination, bending bullets, and explosives. Cover, jumping from cover, stunning and then back shot, Assassinating and humiliating. You can go jack the ripper on their asses.
Gameplay: 7.8/10
Meh. It takes about until the end of the swat to get used to all the cover and how to play and flanking and crap, until the final scene as cross to get used to the mouse sensitivity. Of course, the entire game is impossible until you get used to the sensitivity being too low sometimes and too high at other times. Of course, it doesn't really take so long to get used to it, but it takes that long until you can really master it. In any case, all the skills, aiming, adrenaline. Everything you know is useless unless you get used to the mouse sensitivity. The game is UNPLAYABLE if you don't have a proper FPS. I played it on my friends computer who had shitty FPS- it took us an hour and a quarter to kill the swat leader, we thought the game was just hard. When I got it myself and played it with a normal FPS, the battle against swat took 2 minutes, as I easily jumped from cover to cover with proper FPS.
Knifing: 8/10
Simple, fun, then boring, then fun. Too easy to kill with it, but also easy to die whilst doing it because you see enemy blood splashed on your face, and then you don't notice that you're bleeding yourself too, and are then killed.

Story
in the movie...
Wesley works as a normal person, a sucker, a loser, poor, his girlfriend and room mate is a whore he hates. At one point he finds out he was destined to become an assassin, and that his anger managment problems aren't normal- It's what happens when your heart beats 400 times a second. He joins the fraternity and learns to use his power. He is trained by the fraternity because his father was assassinated by a traitor who was once within the fraternity.

Spoiler ahead! Whee.
After doing some assassinations, Action scenes and meetings with Cross, the one who assassinated his dead father, he is ready to take on the king of assassins himself, Cross. After an entire train battle of awesome (which you will re-enact, but as a plane instead of a train. Well, not exactly, just well, close idea.) After killing him, Fox, his new girlfriend from the faternity, tells him he was his father and not the one who killed him, as well, welsey, you, just killed him. She then tells him she has to kill him too.
After blowing the secret to the entire faternity, everyone knows Sloan was a target aswell, Sloan being the head of the faternity. After trying to kill him and failing, Wesley notices every single person in the faternity was a target. Fox kills every single person in the faternity in a single, circular shot, as everyone was in the same room.
An unknown ammount of time later, Wesley is seen sniping Sloan from miles away, as sloan tries to kill him, only to find out the person he just tried to kill was a decoy. And then, as just said, he is sniped.
Movie's story is kinda awesome, but hell, this is for the action. Unless you want to play the game, then you'll wanna see the story. :P

You play as wesley and...

lotsandlotsandlotsofspoilersahead! read as far as you please.
wake up 5 hours after you killed sloan. Some french swat are pillaging things in your new apartment, the apartment your father lived in before you killed him. After a wild duck hunt, you've taken down about 2 swat-truck's worth of french, and finally corner the French bastard. After another wild battle, you find out that what he stole from your mother's picture isn't on him anymore, and was taken by "The spider" Arana.

What's this? I now play as Cross?! Hello, there. This is the story of you as a baby and your father, the master of all assassins.

As cross you travel through france, trying to protect your wife and your baby, Wesley. After several Machine Guns and Snipers, you may or may not notice something.*

After some cutscenes you return to the loom, the home of the Chicago Faternity, you watch what chaos you caused in the movie.

"Rats and Explosives. A match made in heaven!

After killing The Russian, you rretrieve the first piece of a puzzle that will tell you where the next loom will be moved to.
You will now be playing as cross again, trying to escape an airplane in an extremely fun scene.
Back to wesley, Now you will be sniping Brummel. After an entire Office chase and shoot, you may have a feeling of Deja Vu.
Killed brummel, and whats this?
Another Deja Vu.
Now you'll be looking for your father's corpse in some mountains and underground caverns, only to reach the cemetry of all the most famous assassins. Wesley finds his father mummified, holding dual sub machine guns.
Holy crap, is that only me or do these twin suckers explode when bent?!
Nope, it's not. :P

You will now chase the Immortal around france, then an underground tunnel, a church, and finally, The bell tower.
You finish the game urinating on a person who got face-raped with only one eye. The immortal. God, your father fucking slaughtered this son of a bitch. How did that bastard even survive this?!
Story: 8/10
I don't understand, even after watching the movie, what the loom is. I thought it was where the next base of the Faternity will be, but I'm looking for its three pieces and they lead me to a church? I don't really think so. The story just feels like 3 stories stuck together into a single story, and no, this is not different scenes for each. You try to find the immortal and kill french people, but wait, why would you need some guy's arm for that?!
Bleh. I like the story, but it's kinda complicated at times. Another funny thing is that Wesley completely "forgets" the fact he killed his father, and when he speaks to his mummified corpse he talks to him like his son and like nothing ever happened and like they were the best father and son. Even though in the movie, he clearly hates him. No, not because he thinks he killed his father, but because he hates his father for leaving him alone. I don't even understand what happened to Wesley after his mother died, as you don't see him with cross or what cross did with him since then. Bleh.

Enemies
Swat with low armors and russian's holding shotguns, but with an indestructible suit? Doubtful.
For some reason, the swat take several hits, but a single head shot or well place shot in the chest takes them down. Meanwhile, hoodies die from any hit, and those crazy russian's are infruckingdestructible. So are the snowboarding suit dudes. At one point they started pissing me off and wasting my bullets, so I decided never again to shoot them, and instead, to knife their faces. Well, knife one hit kills any enemy, so sure, why the crap not?!
The world ends with france
Uhhh, please, Those of you who've played both TWEWY and WANTED, please tell me I'm not the only one who noticed how the french guys look like Reapers. Seriously.
I challenge you to a battle of OBLARGASHGGHRGRHGRS
Knife fight*
The knife guys are too easy. Either you shoot their face and watch them fall down in a hillarious way, or you shoot a mine they stepped on and watch them flunged at you.
Actually, that's not exactly the point of these guys. You're suppoused to knife fight them, by repeatedly pressing the knife button. It's fun, but gets repetitive and easy too early. Still fun watching them bleed on your screen. I once stabbed a person whilst a knifer was flunged at me. It looked like he dropped into my knife.
Boom.
Not really an enemy, but well, grenades kill you 1 hit, so do mines. Grenades are rarely seen, and easily avoided either by running some centimeters or covering behind something, it instantly blocks the grenades. Infact...

|_|__Y__G
|_|=Cover
Y=You
G=Grenade
This will result in you dying.
However, by pressing space quickly and jumping to the cover...
[_]Y____G
[_]Y=Cover whilst you're hiding behind it.
Will result in you surviving. Surprisingly. sometimes, even this will work...
|_|Y____G
Yes, Grenade's range sucks.

MEANWHILST MINES ARE INEVITABLE.

All mines placed must be shot. They are placed in strategically inevitable spots, DO NOT TRY CROSSING with cover, or running. Even if you step on the exact center of a spot between two mines...
Well the mines are there either to kill you, or to trap you, or to alert, or to give you...
WTF?!~#$%%%#$
A comic cover. :)
Enemies score will be split according to the topics I spoke of.
Armored units and unarmored: 7/10
Okay, the game is fun and if they would be unarmored it would be too easy, but the ammount of hits it takes to each enemy is ridiculous at the times it should be... Ridiculously easy.
Reapers/french faternity: 8/10
Well, their AI is fine, especially for a bot, and they take one hit. But hey, that makes sense. They're hoodies. Its just that there's too many of them, and they're strong fighters but can't take enough hits for such a common target.
Nightmares(Knife guys): 9/10
Killing them is like eating Lindt chocolate. Either you just let it melt in your mouth (Shoot their faces) or chew it for an entire hour, even though its not gum or chewy(Which would be fighting them with knifes).
Grenades: 6.5/10
The grenades and mines are retardedly easy to dodge or escape. Just shoot the mine to blow it up, and get behind/infront of a cover to survive a grenade. Seriously.
30.5/40

Unlockables
There are many different unlockables. Different characters, comic covers, concept arts. But they just don't feel like something... Unlockable. They're just there for...Being...there. YEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah.
Bonus: 5%. Meh, This isn't worth trying to look for or catching. The only thing I actually liked from all of them was a team quote.

Graphic:
This game wasn't made for graphics. Then again they don't suck. They may make you have slow FPS, which will make the game IMPOSSIBLE. If you don't have slow FPS, the game will be fine. The graphics and textures are pleasant, the game's physics make sense(What was that doing here?), and you'll notice how some things look pretty realistic, and remind you of the movie. There's lots of detail, just that... Well, you'll see. Hopefuly anyways.
8/10
I also really liked about the graphics was how detailed Wesley looked. He looked the exact same he did where the movie left out. He was still slightly bleeding on his face and he looked like the character in the movie. Fantastic.

Well, this seems nice. I myself really liked the game. I only had several problems with it, and thats the fact occasionally you die without even noticing how or what shot you. Another problem is the fact theres too many checkpoints sometimes, and not enough at the hard times. Seriously. Another problem is too short. Way too short. 9 chapters, each can take between 5-20 minutes. Really, really, short game. You'd expect unlockable characters to even it out, but its the same story with a new character. Replay value is null. I might even delete the game now. But, it was worth the few hours spent on it. Don't try getting all the concept arts, posters, etc. Also, bosses are way too short.
Me, I don't know, I liked the game, but eh. It's not flawless, but worth playing. Some polish, longer, etc. I dunno, it's missing, and missing a lot.

I say its worth playing for what it has, not what it does not. :)

In any case, play it, don't replay it. Do not play it like an RPG, and don't do something stupid like going through an entire alley of shooters when you can just go into a house and leave behind them, then knife them one by one.

PHEW. That's all for my review, in any case, play it. Seriously. :P

400 times a second?

That seriously cannot be healthy...

You'd think so. Apparently you can go ninja on your targets that way.

Then again, if you played the flash game N(inja), you may have a point.

I'm sorry, how does having a high heart rate let you control bullets?

It's some adrenaline thing. According to the movie, the adrenaline activates some special center of the brain that doesn't work for most of the normal people. It apparently gives you the ability to super-sense mind-bend ninjatastically and have arms fast enough to bend a bullet's path. It was also just one of those impressive CGI things they did to make the movie impressive.

Bone: Why is the sky blue? What created said atoms that created the big bang? And why is idiot spelled with I?

Hellfire: Yes, thats pretty much it. But the thing about the game is that it's actually fun doing that crap. Especially headshots with it. And back shots. Shooting someones back with a bend is extremely hillarious.
