Pokemon!

Noticed we lack a thread for this game.

So, let the poke-chat begin!


To start, who's gotten the new pokemon game that just came out?

Not me, but I might if it's any good. My pokemon catching addiction was fed for now with the last few games :)

I got it Monday. I've been doing nothing but playing it the past two days in videogame design...

I almost got it on Wed but then I saw DMC 4 for the PC and got that instead. But I DO plan on getting it soon. I miss the good ole Pokemon games(haven't played since Gold/Silver) and Platinum sounds the least girly out've the three >.>

And it's a good game. Can't forget that man.

Used my previous games to get a bulbasaur, cindaquil, and a mudkip, (and a pichu, which I already had a egg of) in my party. I replaced my starter I choose turwig (again) but just stored him and went with bulbasaur as my main. That Eevee egg I transfered too will be hatching soon too...wonder if I'll use it.

All I need is a female Ralts now...


And as such I have. I now have a Ivysaur, Cindiquil, Mudkip (my three old starter choices) and a just perfect female ralts, and also a pichu and a Eevee. No idea if I'll keep the pichu or the Eevee, but the others I'll probably keep in my party with Ivysaur as the leader of the pack.

Althouh, I will admit, I put way too much time into getting these guys to be a dream team.

Gotta love breeding and my GBA versions.

I just got it. The last pokemon game I bought was gold so I havn't played pokemon in awhile. It's a little refreshing.

i wonder if they're ever gonna make another pokemon game that lets you travel to other regions like Gold/Silver did...

Eventually. They Remade Pokemon Red/Blue/Green. I know Johto will happen one day

And in the game date of the 4th gen, Johto is a possible listed location as to where a pokemon came from. So there's hope...there's hope.

Anyway, I suggest trying the double battles. they rock

But more to the point, you didn't read the, "Before You Make a Thread" sticky:


4. And one last thing: start making the first post with CONTENT. Stop posting a link then saying, "discuss." You have to be the one to START the discussion.

For instance, say you want to make a thread about the DSi. Your first post should NOT be "OMG! <link>." It should be something more like, "OMG! <link> <paragraph about what you think is so great or so bad about this new system.>" If you don't have anything to say about what you're posting, then don't post it.

Your first post had no content, and it's something that easily belongs in the thread I already linked to.
