Well, I haven't done much and none of these are complete, I do have some ZX rips. Note: all the enemies and the like I do plan on fully ripping, but if someone beats me to the punch, my loss... :P

Which emu are you using? The Girouette sprite is miscolored in comparison to my rips. And it exceeds 16 colors. Which is impossible on DS. Are you manually removing the BGs or using the OAM viewer/removing layers?

To my knowledge there's only one emu that is compatible with ZX and I'm not too familiar with it yet. I'm not familiar with the OAM viewer, so I use the traditional remove background method. Anywho, I'm going to stick to the enemies, you guys can keep the ripping of the main characters yourselves! :P
In the meantime, Tell me if I'm doing it wrong...

There's only one EMU compatible with ZX that I know of, and there's no OAM function on it.

Anyway, got three complete sheets up, 2 are enemies, like I promised.
First is this wierd item thing....

I think your wierd item thingy is a disk, like the ones in MMZ3 - they're in the game from what I hear.

That might explain the miscolering, or atleast why it exceeds 16c. Giro might have had a different palette for the intro of the game. And you must have missed a background pixel. For future reference, no singular sprite within a Rockman game ever exceeds 16 colors (15+transperancy) and the palette generally remains constant inbetween all frames. (Transformation sequence is the exception. Sabers and such are seperate sprites above the main character's sprite.
As for the OAM viewer. The DeSemuME OAM viewer gives you a second screen that shows the current game in action but without any BG layers. This way you can play on one screen with full BGs and rip on the other without them.

Heh heh.. I like how the majority of the game's sprites seem to be either edits of the original Zero series sprites or edits of each other. Nice going Capcom.
In any rate - i'll definately be ripping majorly at some point, mostly when I get two things out of the way first.

DeSmuME.0.3.4? Thats strange, cuz mine doesn't work on it, I use
DeSmuME.0.3.6.

While they clearly reused stuff. They seemed to have tweaked everything to be different. There's no identical frame between characters.
