Not only is July 4 Rags' birthday, but it's also the one time of the year when America celebrates its independence by blowin' stuff up good. Seeing as how a lot of forum members are British, this should get interesting.

For obvious reasons, this is one holiday I wont be celebrating.
Its not like we have an "Anti-America Day" on July the 4th to counteract this - nah the British just hate America (in general) period.
(We also hate the French too, since they're our natural enemies, but for some reason, we love Canada.)

I'm just stating the general feeling. The "hate" isn't so much as real hate, just something thats been there in the back of the mind of everyone due to past histories. Ya know, biological memories or something.

GO USA! I will be going down to my friends house and blowing a bunch of shit up from his roof. We are going to have a kick ass party there as well. Almost 260 people are coming and there all from school and all bringing fireworks.
...Holy crap ZeroZX, even saying taht your kiding about saying stuff like that is bad. I wouldn't say any countries perfect, but you should neevr say that.

Yup, I'm going to be celebrating this Independence Day the good old American way by getting tore up on Sam Adams and Jack Daniels and possibly losing my index finger in a bottle rocket accident.

I only despise their government, their culture, and their obsession with control/idiocy/religion. As for the actual people- I dont know any of them, so I can hardly hate them.
You know. I actually agree with you. Our government blows ass, our culture has NO indivuduallity so that sucks, AND most people anc like idiots and try to control everything. God Bless America. Yea right.

Our government's bad, but it's not that oppressive, relatively. Take Egypt, for example. I'd say that 80% of America sucks arse, but then there's that 20 awesome percent. Might as well have fun with that 1/5, right?

Agreed...... our government's going down the tubes, but the system itself is still strong. All we need is a hundred or so Congressmen from each party to be defeated in the upcoming Midterm Elections and we might just be on the right track..... plus a constitutional amendment banning consecutive legislative terms would also be good, if you asked me.
That being said, they ain't going to happen ever.
EDIT: To get on topic though, bad 4th of July news for me as a little accident at work is going to prevent me from really going out and getting wasted. I'll still be going to a barbecue enjoying some Sam and Jack, though.
