Seriously! She's the least played as character in the game who just wears less and less with each new installment! And she's annoying!

No. Ivy is a fairly popular character that people use very much, whether because of jiggling flesh or simply because they like how she handles. Not only that, but she has become somewhat of a staple. The less and less of her clothing should eventually stop, hopefully. I don't find her annoying, but simply becoming nothing but fanservice. And if you won't back it up that she is annoying...

Her style of fighting and surprisingly valorous role in the story are both unique and worth having. While she's probably popular mostly due to her... design, hating things because they're popular is stupid.

HELL NO.
Dispite not being a favorite, she brings more to the game, and is no where near annoying. Her weapon is one of the cooled weapons in the series, and her outfit suits her. She's a pirate (Well sorta, at least piraty by blood). We're lucky (or unlucky depending on viewpoint) she's wearing a top at all.
No offense, but a Taki fan really shouldn't complain about Ivy's outfit. The only feasible way I can think of for an outfit to form like that is if it was painted on, especailly given the time period.
As for the annoying. Xiughua(sp?) is annoying, really her voice and attitude are likely intended to annoy the opponent (She literally has a tantrum move.) as well as a few others. Ivy isn't among them.

yeah, she does have a pretty cool weapon NDraxian. Very clever indeed...wait....I never said anything about hating things becasue it's popular. I thought Ivy was the least popular....but I was wrong.
But sitll...I think she's annoying. But if what you guys say is true, perhaps she's just won of those characters that you just can't take out of SC....like Taki. ;p

From a gamer's point of view and given I've used her as an entry in a tourney once, Ivy's fighting style is pretty good for both short and long range assaults. Her draw back is the huge openings she'll leave should you screw up. As far as poking games go, she's probably one of my top 3 (I'm mostly a Sieg player btw).
The outfits... well... that's what alternate outfits are for IMO.

1.Most of the time, not all the time. It's usually at least just one character like that. Two or three at the most and it's usually villans.
2.I just don't. To me she's just one of that you really don't pay attention to that much and is kinda just there. Then again, I hardly know any back story behind her. :o

I don't like her at all (she looks like a man with boobs O.o). But she's like the occasional horsh radish flavoured sweet in a packet of assorted flavours, it just mixes things up a little.
Though maybe it's just because Cervantes is my second favorite character...

That was the point. Personally, unless a character is really broken, I don't think any fighting character should be removed from any fighting game sequel. Because chances are, theres going to be alot of people who like that character. And if they are broken... well, just fix them.
Case in Point: I was disappointed that Mewtwo was removed from Brawl. While I didn't use him, I didn't see the point of getting rid of him either.
Ditto with SC.
Also last time I played using Ivy she didn't exactly seem like a bad character.
Meh, I guess so ACE.

Just two days ago, I played Ivy's story mode on SC3..and it pwned!
Point is..I'm still not to big an Ivy fan...but I'll never look at her the same way again.

You know, to be honest, at first I didn't know exactly WHY I hated Ivy so much. I kow I said it was because of her clothing, but now....now I finally realize. And it does have to do some what with that reason. Well, after doing a lot of soul searching, I think I know my reasons.
I just thought she was a filler character just added in by Namco just so they could have some random hot chick character showing abnormal amounts of skin. You know how Namco can be right? XD. Well...yes...it is a pretty stupid reason isn't it? :D At least, that's what I think my reason is. But really, that was before I knew her storyline significance. At first, all I knew was that her father abandoned her to search for Soul Edge....but THAT was before I even knew her old man was mister imortal pirate himself! :eek:
So maybe, subcountiosly, I was just a little upset with Namco for being pervs....again....XD (no offense) When really, Ivy's place in SC had some MEANING! :D
As for the part where I said she was annoying...well....I didn't mean Xhiangua kind of annoying, I meant.....hmmm.....I'll have to get back to you on that.
So now that I've had some time to bond with Ivy and I've seen the light. this thread really has no meaning anymore. (NOT requesting topic lock! >.<)

Sorry Ndrax, but I kinda have to disagree with you on this one.
Personally, I kinda feel that Taki's tights were more likely to exist in that time frame than Ivy's really skimmpy something or other. (seriously, I don't think it even has a name XD) ESPECIALLY in SC4, anyone who's seen what Ivy looks like in SC4 can probably agree with me when I say she's practically nude. Taki, on the other hand, looks a lot LESS like she's just wearing red paint in SC4. But wutever. I didn't come here to do more Ivy bashing and I'm pretty sure no one wants to hear me give a 5 hour lecture on anime fashion sense. XD

Save for the (few) armor attachments, she wears red paint, as said in this thread before. Even if it was ultra-skintight rubber, her belly button wouldn't show trough it. Yet it does.
On the parts where the paint is missing, she either wears nothing, or a see-trough fishnet.
Overall, the best way I can describe Taki, is with your own quote.

We're not saying that she IS wearing red paint, we're saying it looks like she's wearing it. Oh, and you wouldn't know about it: IF she wears paint, the only ones who actually know it for sure are the people at Namco/the designers 9dunno if they left).

Get over it: Soul Calibur is a fighting game with a last minute story glued on it, making it seem like the main character is always the one you play as.
