For those that are interested in the fan gaming scene - this is pretty important news, Multimedia Fusion 2 has finally been released:

Click Here to Goto the Clickteam Site (http://www.clickteam.com)

Theres a demo version available at the site so you can try it out - i've been using Clickteam products for MANY years now - so the release of this program is pretty exciting news to me. :D

What exactly is that program? Some sort of game maker? Or an animator, perhaps?

It's a gamemaker and it is one of the BEST. Even better than Gamemaker.

Is it like... 3d PS2, or 2d GameBoy? Or can it do both? If so, is it free?

Jace

It can do both and more. But no, it is not free.

Ah. Is there a trial version, or something?

Try following the link at the top. It'll tell you everything you need to know. And yes, there is a demo of it.

Yay! A demo.

The only Clickteam game software I've used was Klik N' Play, which is very outdated and limited.

Ive seen some great stuff made with MMF, but I'll stick to Flash.

Is it a one time payment?

Yes. I Personally have the Pro version which cost around £300, but most people would be fine with either GamesFactory or Standard (which cost alot less.)

The Pro version is mostly for the license - if I want to sell something (which I probably wont,) I can.

MMF can make internet games, such as ones found at http://vcade.neewah.com/

(Requires a Plug In Download of Vitalize)

Once Vitalize 4 is released so will the new generation of click programs. (TGF2 and MMF2, etc)

If you ask me, I need a game program that DOESN'T COST A LOT, because honestly, I can't pay through Paypal or anything like that. Any ones I can just download that actually work?

If I'm not mistaken, Clickteam is also talking with Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft about allowing the created games from MMF2 to become playable on their next-gen systems via download. G4 was showing a segment about it. Got me totally stoked. :D
