I'm a little worried, though. Since it'll be a simultaneous release and they'll be working on the Xbox 360 version after the PS3 version is finished, that basically means it'll take longer to actually be released. Also, I was really hoping this would be the game to really take advantage of everything the PS3 has to offer, but if they're going to have to shoehorn it into a bunch of dual-layered DVDs, I don't see that happening.

This is certainly a good thing, since I SERIOUSLY did not want to buy a PS3 just to play FF13. Sure, this means it won't take full advantage of either piece of hardware most likely, but Squaresoft is VERY good at making games look amazing, so I doubt there is much to worry about.

I see them looking at this from a money perspective. PS3 is the lowest selling system in North America and Europe. It's just a smart move for the company. It has no effect on me, as I own both.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this revealed at the Microsoft Press Conference yesterday was, "there's no way that'll carry over to Japan." And in questions about that Square pretty much said, "Eh, probably not."

Doing this mostly because of the poor sales the PS3 has been getting. Actually, I don't think I can ever recall a Final Fantasy game going multiplatform (I'm not really a fan though, so that could be why).

And people at another forum I go to were using that as evidence that it would never happen in the future in a thread a year ago and I was like "That's dumb" and now I get to rub it in their faces.

Well, now I might actually get a 360. There's a bunch of games on there I want to play now. Then again, it doesn't have God of War 3. Oh well, FFXIII makes up for that. I can't wait!

I'm glad I decided to save up to buy a 360 in a month and a half. The God of War trailer looked boring if you ask me.

That's cause it was just really quick. I'm sure it'll be a HELL of a lot better than that. But still, I'm just glad the 360 is actually getting some good RPG's now. That was the main reason holding me back. All it seemed to have is goddamn FPS's. And I don't really like FPS's.
