Well, as the name of the forum suggests, This is the script for an upcoming game called "Megaman Legends: Zero Hour". I'll try to keep the spoilers from MML1 and MML2 as minimal as possible.
NOTE: The script may go through some rewrites between now and the game's release, so some things may be changed in the final Version. But the gist of the story sould still be the same. In fact, this version is the first rewrite of the original story concept. So, I'll call this 2.0. Major thanks to Xterra for clearing up a few things about the story of MML1 & 2 and helping me fit this story better into the MML Universe.
Here we go!

================================================== ========
1. Introduction:
NARRATOR: The Megamen... Units designed to ensure the continued success of the System that allowed the existence of Carbons, clones of the Master's Race. One Megaman, Megaman Trigger, decided to fight the system at Master's request, which resulted in Master's death. The Mother Unit Sera tried to prevent this, but she was unable to do so, resulting in her sealing on Forbidden Island. Hundreds of years later, Megaman Trigger, now known as Megaman Volnut, accidentally released Sera from her sealing, and Sera set out to accomplish her task of protecting the system. Megaman Trigger defeated her, and the Mother Unit Yuna convinced Sera that what Megaman Trigger tried to do was necessary. However, during the battle, all ways of returning them to Terra were destroyed, trapping Megaman Trigger, Yuna, and Sera on Elysium.
Three weeks have passed since then. A desperate plan will awaken another key figure in the events leading to Master's death, and a new battle begins...
2. Megaman Zera:
(The screen shows a shot of Terra from space with Elysium in the foreground.)
(A small explosion is seen coming from Terra)
Megaman Trigger: That's another failure.
Yuna (still in Matilda's body.): I guess they aren't listening to Data.
Sera (In Yuna's old body.): That could be a problem.
Trigger: I guess Roll never could understand what Data was saying.
Yuna: Well, we need to get down to Terra. The Elder system is awakening.
Sera: There could be a way back... But it involves going into a high-security area.
Yuna: What do you mean?
Sera: Yuna, Trigger, follow me.
(Sera leads Yuna and Trigger deep into Elysium's core.)
Trigger: Where are we?
Yuna: Area 1570.
Sera: This is where many abberant units ended up after you defeated them, Trigger.
Yuna: I guess this is a bad time to say I can't really repair anything.
Sera: Don't worry. Zera doesn't need repair.
(Yuna stops and Sera and Trigger look back at her.)
Yuna: He's here? And still intact?
Trigger: Who are you guys talking about?
Sera: You will see, Trigger. We need to continue moving.
(Trigger, Sera, and Yuna walk on, eventually reaching a massive gate.)
Sound Only (Elysium Computer): HALT. UAUTHORIZED ACCESS DETECED.
Sera: Mother Unit 2, Sera, requesting access.
Sound Only (Elysium Computer): NEGATIVE. DATA RECIEVED AS MOTHER UNIT 1, YUNA.
(Trigger steps forward.)
Trigger: Now what?
Sound Only (Elysium Computer): IDENTITY CONFIRMED AS PURIFIER FIRST CLASS MEGAMAN TRIGGER. ACCESS GRANTED.
(The gate opens, allowing Trigger, Sera, and Yuna to move on.)
(The group sees several Reaverbots.)
Trigger: Man... Not fair... And my weapon systems were damaged in fighting Sera. All I have left is my Buster.
Sera: You can handle it Trigger.
(Megaman Trigger moves forward to battle the Reaverbots. The following is the script for the battle as well as the tutorial.)
Yuna: It's time for a refresher, Trigger. You seem to remember how to move. Now let's see if you still know how to fight. Move forwards or back by using the arrow keys. The down arrow allows you to duck under enemy attacks or attack enemies in low places, and allows you to climb down ladders, with the Up arrow allowing you to climb up Ladders.
(Trigger moves forward and sees a Reaverbot.)
Yuna: The [attack] key allows you to fire your Buster. It's weak now, but you can upgrade it later with Buster Parts you can find on your digs.
(Trigger destroys the Reaverbot and moves forward, encountering a wall that he can jump over.)
Yuna: The [jump] key allows you to jump over enemy attacks and reach higher places and enemies. If you reach a ledge too high to jump to, you can jump and you will grab onto the ledge automatically. This is also helpful when jumping to a distant ledge.
(Trigger jumps over the wall and moves on, eventually seeing a Reaverbot walking on the ceiling.)
Yuna: Final lesson for now. If you press the Up or Down arrow keys when firing, you can hit enemies on the ceiling or on a ledge below you.
(Trigger destroys the Reaverbot and moves on, fighting more Reaverbots, until he, Sera, and Yuna reach another room.)
Sera: He's through here.
Yuna: This can't possibly be good.
(Sera opens the door and Sera, Trigger and Yuna enter the room)
(A picture is shown of a capsule in the middle of an otherwise empty room.)
(Another picture is shown of the figure in the capsule, a Megaman wearing red armor with long blond hair.)
Sera: There he is... Recon Unit Special S Class Megaman Zera.
Yuna: So he's the one who...
Sera: Indeed. And he is our best hope of returning to Terra quickly.
(Sera moves over to the console near the capsule.)
Sera: It is time to awaken him.
(Sera opens the capsule, awakening Megaman Zera)
Sera: Identify yourself.
Megaman Zera: ... I can't seem to remember anything.
Yuna: Has he been asleep too long?
Sera: It seems so. Zera must be suffering from being sealed for so long. It's possible his memories have been corrupted.
Zera: Zera... Is that my name? I can't seem to remember who I am, but I seem to remember something.
Yuna: Figures... Our only hope to get back to Terra's an amnesiac.
Zera: You need to get to Terra? I can take you there, but I'll need a ship to pilot. (How did I remember that?)
Trigger: We don't have anymore shuttles.
Yuna: And we can't find any spare parts to build a new one from the blueprints.
Sera: All we need is something to get us to the surface intact.
(Zera puts his hand to his head as if he has a headache.)
Trigger: Are you okay, Zera?
(A grayscale scene of Zera walking along some of Elysium's halls towards a shuttle is shown)
Zera: There may be a way. Follow me.
(Zera leaves the room followed by Trigger, Sera, and Yuna.)
(The player controls Megaman Trigger as he runs through the halls, eventually reaching a new area.)
Yuna: Okay, time to explain the "Tag System". Press the [tag] key to switch between Trigger and Zera. Also, you'll notice a gague next to your Life Meter. This gague fills up as you attack. When the Tag Gague is full, pressing the [tag attack] key allows you and Zera to perform a special attack together. Make sure to Tag in and out to prevent your defeat by enemies and reach new areas!
(Trigger and the others reach the area in Zera's vision.)
Trigger: what is this?
Sera: A drop pod. Useful for a quick entry into Terra's atmosphere.
Yuna: Why didn't we see this?
Sera: We haven't had much time to explore Elysium. Remember, Elysium's about the size of a small moon. So the possibility we would have found something like this in three weeks without guidance is very low.
(Zera approaches the drop pod and the door opens)
Zera: Are we going or not?
Trigger: Are you certain you can fly this?
(Zera goes into the pod.)
Zera: The controls seem familiar. I can handle it.
Sera: Good enough for me.
Yuna: Me too.
Trigger: Okay then. We're going to Terra.
(Sera, Yuna, and Trigger enter the pod.)
(The air is pumped out of the chamber and the door opens.)
Zera: Hang on. This could be rough.
(Zera pilots the pod out of the chamber and into space.
Trigger: Here we go!
END SCENE.

3. Reunion:
(Roll and Tron are standing on an island watching the sky.)
Roll Caskett: *sigh*... Another failure...
Tron Bonne: Yeah... At this rate, we'll be old maids by the time we can build a shuttle that can get to them.
(A bright spot appears in the sky)
Tron: What the?
Roll: What is that?
(Inside the drop pod)
Zera: We've reached the atmosphere.
Trigger: Do you even know how to land this thing?
Zera: If the girls trust me to fly this thing, you should trust me to land it! (I have no idea how, though!)
Sera: Zera can handle it.
Yuna: This is why I hate having this body... Reentry makes my queasy.
(On the island)
Tron: I think it's a ship!
Roll: It's Megaman!
Data (Jumping up and down): Eeek Eeek!
(inside the drop pod)
Zera: We're past the thermal layer. Beginning final approach.
Trigger: Roger. (I just want to walk away from this...)
Zera: Dropping airspeed and deploying thrusters.
(The pod shudders as Zera activates the thrusters)
Yuna: I feel sick...
Sera: Vomiting doesn't inspire confidence, Yuna.
Yuna: Don't remind me... *ulp*
Trigger: Fifty meters to ground.
Zera: Landing gear deployed. Touchdown!
(The drop pod lands not too far from Roll and the others.)
Teisel: We're being invaded!
Barrel: Get a hold of yourself! It's Megaman!
Teisel: I'd rather take the aliens...
(Roll, Tron, and the others walk up to the pod.)
(The Pod's doors open)
Trigger: Phew! We made it!
Roll: Megaman! You're back!
(Roll runs over to Trigger)
Trigger: Roll!
(Yuna takes a few steps out of the drop pod and suddenly bends over as Sera and Zera walk past her.)
Zera: Are you okay?
Yuna: Give me a few seconds...
Teisel: Who's the red guy and the young girl? (VEGA OBSCURA NOTE: For those wondering (Or are completely dense!), he's referring to Zera and Sera (Now in Yuna's body).)
Trigger: That's Zera and Sera. They managed to find a way to get us back to Terra.
Barrel: Well, it seems you made it back safely. Good work, Megaman.
Roll: What about Zera and Sera? Aren't they glad to be home?
Trigger: It seems Elysium was Zera's home. Well, that's where he's been for hundreds of years.
Sera: We have more pressing matters than homecomings right now, Trigger.
Roll: Who's Trigger? I thouught your name was Megaman Volnut?
Trigger: Well... It seems that Megaman Trigger's my real name.
Roll: Well, Volnut or Trigger, you'll always be 'Megaman' to me.
Trigger: Should we get going?
Barrel: Indeed. Yuna, Sera, Zera, you guys can come with us.
(Everyone boards the Flutter and it takes off.)
Barrel: It may be a little cramped, but We should be able to find room for all of you.
(The Flutter takes off. Scene shifts to Roll, Trigger, Data and Zera in the bridge.)
Roll: It's good to have you back, Megaman. It was getting lonely without you.
Trigger: It's good to be back. Zera, what do you think about Terra so far?
Zera: Don't patronize me, Trigger. I may not remember much, but I believe I've been on Terra before.
Data: Eek! Eek! *Megaman! Why is Zera not in stasis?*
Roll: What is Data so worked up over?
Trigger: I don't know. He seems to know something about Zera, though.
Data: Eek! Eek! *Megaman! Don't you know what he did?*
(Data jumps on Zera's head.)
Data: Eek! Eek! *Megaman! Zera-*
(Zera points his buster at Data)
Zera: Get off my head, Data. No free rides.
Trigger: Data, leave Zera alone. And Zera, put that thing away.
(Data jumps off of Zera's head as Zera puts his buster away.)
Data: (I guess neither of them remembers what happened... Maybe it's for the best.)
(The Flutter shakes.)
Roll: What was that? Megaman, take the wheel, I'm going to the engine room!
Zera: I'm coming too.
(Roll and Zera leave the bridge as Megaman takes the helm of the Flutter.)
(Roll and Zera make it to the engine room.)
Roll: *cough* Where did all this smoke come from?
Zera: We'd better find out.
(Roll and Zera run towards the engine.)
Zera (examining the engine.): It seems that there was something that went here.
Roll: Oh no! I forgot! We had to use some parts from the Flutter's engine to build one of the ships! Tron said that she could find us a replacement part!
Zera: I guess we need to find a place to land.
(Zera runs over to the intercom.)
Zera: Trigger, we need a place to land.
Trigger: Got it. There's a large island about twenty-five miles from here called "Gigas Island". We should be able to make it.
Zera: Trigger, head for that island.
(Meanwhile, in the living room.)
Yuna: Man... Not again...
Barrel: We need to talk to the Bonnes about this if we survive, that is.
Sera: I have every bit of faith in Trigger and Zera.
(Back on the helm)
Trigger: Making our final approach to Gigas Island. Everyone, brace yourselves! This could get rough!
(Another small explosion shakes the Flutter as Trigger manages to land the Flutter.)
Roll: *cough* The engine's shot... I don't even want to think about the repair costs on this one...
Zera: *cough* Probably be cheaper to get a new engine.
Trigger: You guys okay?
Zera: We're fine.
Roll: We'll need to find new parts to fix the engine.
Trigger: I'm getting a real strong sense of deja vu...

Who is making this game if i may be so bold as to ask? And what kind of game will it be? ZX style, BN style or full 3D?
Also on a side note, the final part about them crashlanding on Gigas Island, you might want to make it a little more original. Right now it's just Kattelox intro with a different name and an OC character.
And on a side side note, it's Volnutt, not Volnut. Two t's.
And on a personal note, I much rather prefer the name of Megaman Volnutt over Trigger. The name Trigger represents his old life, and memories or not his old life is gone, so i'd really sugest he keep his new name Volnutt over his old one.

Trust me. They won't stay there long. In fact, the team leaves the island in the next scene.
The game will be in ZX Style.
As for WHO's making it, I'm trying to get a team together to make the game.
Mg_Spitfire
30-07-08, 19:07
Well, if like R-Mega's game, it ever gets to VA's i'm in. I'm an avid Legends fan currently waiting for Stargate Atlantis episode Daedalus Variations so i can use it to write a Bn/Zx/MML crossover based on it.

Like I said, I need to get the development team together first.

Well, i'm currently trying to learn GM 7. I'd be more than happy to try and help when I've learned enough.

4. Gigas Island
(Roll, Trigger and Zera leave the Flutter.)
Roll: We'll get to work repairing any damage the Flutter took during our landing.
Trigger: And we'll go look for parts for the engine, right?
Roll: You got it!
(Trigger and Zera head into town.)
Trigger: Man... Where are we going to find engine parts cheap?
Zera: To be honest, I have no clue.
Trigger: Well...
????: *screams*
Trigger: What was that?
Zera: Let's go find out.
(Trigger and Zera head for the source of the scream. Upon arriving, they see a woman with blue hair running past them, being chased by some Reaverbots.)
Trigger: Reaverbots, outside of the ruins?!
Zera: I take it that's a bad thing.
Trigger: Yeah, it's a very bad thing.
(Trigger and Zera run after the woman and the Reaverbots, destroying the Reaverbots as they go.)
(Trigger and Zera catch up with the woman.)
Zera: Are you okay?
????: I'm fine. Who are you guys?
Zera: My name's Zera.
Trigger: And I'm Trigger.
Levi: Thanks for the help. By the way, I'm Levi.
Trigger: Why were there Reaverbots outside of the ruins?
Levi: No clue.
Zera: Well, do you know where we can find engine parts?
Levi: Sorry. The last junk shop on the island closed down and moved away last year. Why?
Trigger: We need them to fix our ship.
Levi: Well... It sounds like you need a new engine. But they're expensive. Wait! I have an idea.
Zera: What?
Levi: The Gigas Arena. The prize for clearing its challenge and defeating the champion is a new X5000-series engine. The only problem is that the champion hasn't been beaten in over a year.
Trigger: That's our only option, then...
Zera: It sounds like a challenge.
Trigger: We'd better go see what Roll thinks.
Zera: After you.
Levi: I'll come too.
(Zera, Trigger, and Levi return to the Flutter)
Roll: So, you're saying you've found a new engine? And it's an X5000? I've only seen pictures! If we can get one, think of all the extra power that the Flutter will have! Not to mention the money we'll be able to save on repairs. Hang on. Since you're going into the arena, you'll need some new weapons. Follow me to the R&D room.
(Roll leads the others to the R&D room.)
Roll: For those who haven't been here before (VEGA OBSCURA NOTE: Zera, Levi, Yuna, and Sera.), I will be able to create new weapons from parts you find during your adventures. Judging by what items you've picked up, I'll be able to create a new weapon for the both of you!
Narrator: Trigger got 'Machinegun Arm'! Zera got 'Blade Arm Z'! (VEGA OBSCURA NOTE: See section 12 for weapon descriptions.)
Roll: Let me explain how to equip Special Weapons like the ones you've just recieved. First, you need to come to me here in the R&D room in order to select a Special Weapon to carry with you on your digs. Once you have a Special Weapon, you need to go into the Start screen by pressing [Enter], then press the [tag] key to switch between the kick attack (Trigger)/punch attack (Zera) and the Special Weapon. Then exit the Start menu, and simply press the [Special Weapon] key to use your Special Weapon.
(The team exits the Flutter)
Trigger: Now to go to the Arena and win that engine!
Zera: We'd better, or we're looking at a lengthy stay here on Gigas Island.
Roll: I have to see this arena.I'll be cheering you guys on.
Sera: We need to find a way to keep the Elder System from activating, but seeing as there is no other way to get off the island quickly, we have no choice.
Yuna: What Sera's trying to say is, good luck you two!
(Trigger, Zera, and Roll follow Levi to the Arena.)
Arena Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen! For the first time in weeks, we have a challenger for the X5000 engine! In order to win the prize, they first need to survive ten rounds with out Reaverbots, then battle the Champion. If they win, they will recieve a brand-new X5000 engine! Now, let us see our challengers! Trigger and Zera!
(Trigger and Zera enter the Arena.)
Arena Announcer: Ready? Annnnnddd... Begin!
(Trigger and Zera clear the ten rounds of Reaverbots.)
Arena Announcer: Impressive, folks! They've managed to clear the Reaverbots! Now, can they handle our champion? Ladies and gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to our Siren of the Arena and our reigning champion, Levi!
Trigger: What?
Zera: Levi's the champion?
(A picture of Levi standing in the arena in her armor is shown)
Levi: Sorry about decieving you. You see, we can control the Reaverbots that appear in the Arena. I was never in any danger, but when I heard the Flutter had landed, I wanted to test the great Digger, Megaman. I didn't expect to see you had a companion, but I am impressed with both of your abilities.
(The screen returns to in-game graphics)
Levi: Now then. Shall we begin?
(Trigger/Zera and Levi battle. Trigger/Zera win.)
Arena Announcer: And that's it! We have a winner! Our champion has been defeated! Your winners are Trigger and Zera! Congratulations. Here is your reward!
Narrator: Trigger and Zera got 'X5000 Engine'!
Arena Announcer: Please come back soon to compete in more challenges and win points that you can trade for awesome prizes!
(The team leaves the arena, with Levi following just behind.)
Levi: Sorry about that... No hard feelings?
Trigger: well, everything did turn out okay.
Zera: Apology accepted.
Roll: Now to get to the Flutter and install the new engine!
Levi: Well... If you want, before you leave, there are some ruins you can explore if you want.
Roll: Well... It will take some time for me to install the new engine, but I can spot for you whil you guys go on a Dig.
Levi: I can help with the spotting, if you wish.
Roll: Can you please? You can spot for Zera.
Levi: Okay.
(The team returns to the Flutter and Roll begins to install the new engine. Trigger and Zera leave and head for the ruins)
Trigger: Yeah, these ruins look like there's some good stuff here.
Roll: Hang on, guys. Yuna and Sera said these ruins were once a reginal database for the Master System. There should be some clues as to how to keep the Elder System from activating.
Trigger: Roger, Roll.
Levi: Watch it guys. Many Diggers have entered these ruins. No one has been able to leave unscathed.
Zera: Sounds promising.
(Trigger and Zera explore the ruins. They eventually reach a large door.)
Trigger: Wonder what's here.
Zera: Only one way to find out.
Trigger: Right. Roll, any Reaverbot readings?
Roll: None at all, Megaman.
Trigger: Okay then. Thanks.
(Trigger and Zera open the door to see a room full of computers.)
Zera: I guess we found what we're looking for.
(Zera approaches the computers and begins typing.)
Trigger: what are you doing?
Zera: Your guess is as good as mine.
Computer: IDENTITY CONFIRMED AS MEGAMAN ZERA. ACCESS TO RESTRICTED FILES GRANTED.
Trigger: What the?
(Zera begins to study the monitor as a video is shown)
(Video sequence):
Sera (Original Body): Zera, it seems that there is an incident happening on Kattleox Island. I wish for you to support the Bureaucratic Model 3rd class, Megaman Juno in restoring order.
Zera: At once, Mother.
Sera: Also, keep an eye out. It seems that abberant units are increasing in numbers recently. Be on your guard. As a Recon Unit, you are not as strong as a Purifier, but you are one of our best. Should you encounter any abberant units, you are to termanate them immediately.
Zera: Master's will be done, but I pray that I do not encounter any, Mother.
(video sequence ends.)
Trigger: Why were you sent to Kattleox?
Zera: I wish I knew. But there's only one way to find out. We're going to Kattleox.
Trigger: It has been a while since I was last there.
(Trigger and Zera leave the ruins and return to the Flutter)
Roll: I heard. So I take it we're going back to Kattleox?
Zera: Sera, why didn't you tell me about my past? You definitely knew me.
Sera: I would prefer it if your memories returned on their own. But it seems that they are already returning, and that they are tied into something that involves the Elder System. Maybe restoring them will give us the answers we seek.
Trigger: Well, we'll find out more on Kattleox Island. Roll, when can we get underway?
Roll: Well, Megaman, I just finished installing the new engine, so we can go at any time.
Zera: Are you coming with us, Levi?
Levi: Why not? Travel and excitement? Sounds like fun to me.
Yuna: I hope you can earn your keep as well.
Levi: Don't worry about that. I can easily earn my keep.
Roll: Well, then. Let's get moving. On to Kattleox Island!
(The Flutter lifts off and turns towards Kattleox Island.)
END SCENE.

Strange that I’m the only one saying anything about this story/future game.
Anyway, don't consider what I am about to say as flames, as they are not even if it might seem that way, it's just that some things about the story stink like a week old fish in mid august:
1. Don't you think the world has had enough Megaman X rip–off stories? I mean you’ve created a blond pony tailed, red clad figure with a checkered past who’s slept for generations and whose name is one letter away from being Zero. And then you armed him a blade arm Z. Sound familiar?
2. Copying the Legends 1 intro you put them on an island whose city is similarly one letter away from being called Giga City. Sound familiar again?
Can’t you be original?
And also, with Von Bluecher standing right there besides Roll and Barrell, wouldn’t it have made more sense to do what’s been done in Legends 2 and use the massive Sulphur Bottom for transporting everyone across the large distances of the globe and have the tiny Flutter only house it’s original occupants?
And about the control system, though it would involve more complex sprites, I strongly suggest that you use a keyboard + mouse control system and give Megaman full 360 mouse control. You can use this .gml code for the 360 mouse control:
image_single=facing/10
facing = point_direction(x,y,mouse_x,mouse_y)
Though with this code, each sprite needs 36 subsprites in order to pull off the 360.

*sighs*
I actually ran the story concept by one of the biggest MML fanboys here (Xterra). He was the one who helped me polish the story from its original rough draft and help it fit better in the MML Timeline.
If He had a problem with this part, he would have said so, and I would have edited it.
Also:
Von Bleucher? Where the hell do you see him?
MG has a point- though his first issue is mostly personal to himself. Yes, it is Zero, but that was the intention yes?

Does Xet by any chance also "just happen" to be as big a fan of X and Zero (judging by his/her avatar) as he is of Legends?
Also:
Von Bleucher? Where the hell do you see him?

Here's the end sequence including the sera battle. He's from around minute 10. drinking coco with Tiesel and Barrell as they watch yet another rocket explode.

Ah... Well... as for Von Bleucher... I guess he sort of dissappeared. But I doubt that he'll get any screen time. (Remember, I did say things might be changed before the game's fully released...)
Arrow: Initially, Zera's name was Zero (But not THAT Zero), but me and Xet agreed that Zera would be better.
Mg_Spitfire
31-07-08, 19:39
And you still have't adressed any of the issues i pointed out.
Why make this game a megaman x clone featuring a zero clone?
Why the lack of originality with both the plot and the name of the island and how they get there.
The control system.
Also, Xet is as biast towards X and zero as i am towards Aile and Lan. I'd have been your main suporter if that was either ZX Model X Aile, or CF Lan/Megaman instead of zero.
I'm kind of curious as to how MG would pick apart my story now. :o
I can see where MG is coming from, sort of, though I would have to say that a large part of his disconnect comes from it being characters he does not particularly appreciate.

And what story would that be?

I won't hide the fact that i'm not too particularly fond of zero or x, but i'm not being malicious here, i'm being realistic. Just sped 5 minutes browsing the games section of Sprites INC and then tell me that MMX clone games aren't a dime a dousin.
And for the record, i'm actually beta reading a zero, x story for someone, and i'm playing megaman xtreme on my cellphone, so i don't hate the characters
Not calling you malicious at all friend. :3 I understand what you're saying completely.

Either way, it's about time for me to stop releasing scenes. After this current one, I start heading into major spoiler territory, and I don't want to ruin anything.
As for the team to make the game, I still need to find programmers, spriters, and background artists. Arrow-1, if he wants, can do music.

So just add a spoiler tag to the very top of the first post, problem solved.
Have you given any thought to the controls or are you just going to ignore me like before?

Well... I'll probably stick with button controls rather than using the mouse to aim in order to lessen the amount of spriting that needs to be done. (Seriously. We need to sprite at least two playable characters, NPCs, Enemies, Bosses, and misc stuff like weapon icons, etc. (almost all of which will be scratch), and that's more than enough to give most people nervous breakdowns.) Besides, I think using the up and down arrows to aim at high and low enemies will be enough. As for the program that will be used, I'm leaning towards Gamemaker unless someone suggests a better program.
As for spoiling, I'd like the last island and as many of the spoilers to be as tightly kept as possible. Right now, the only ones who know the full story are Me and Xet, and I'd like to keep it that way until the full game's release. The scenes I've released so far is just to generate interest in the project, and to get some early crit on the story.
These spoilers include:
Final island (No that's not the name!)
Final boss
Zera's background, including what Yuna, Sera, and Data know about him
Stuff like that. (Which is why if I do voice acting, it will probably be the last thing on the list.)

Understandable about the work load, but i'd still sugest you at least try the control system I sugested to R-Mega for his game.

Well, you got a healthy dose of crit from me and decided to ignore each and every bit of it.
And as for Xet, corect me if i'm wrong but didn't Xet also try to push zero in for R-Mega's game before R-Mega said no? Xet is obviously biased towards zero and if you want opinions from unbiassed fans then I sugest you pitch this game and this plot to the guys down at Legends Station.

Oh and about zera's background, you've made it abundantly clear that he's zero and will have the exact same backstory and, like zero, will become a good guy by the end of the game. This is one thing there's absolutelly no mistery about.

And as for Xet, corect me if i'm wrong but didn't Xet also try to push zero in for R-Mega's game before R-Mega said no?
First off: Actually, R-Mega said yes if I could work him into the story (Which I may as an optional boss):
4) I suppose I can include Navi-Zero in Cyber Stadium, the combat game. I don't know how he could be in the storyline, but I supposed Vega Obscura could think of something.
Xet is obviously biased towards zero.
Actually, Xet was and still is dead set against me calling Zera, Zero. That does not show bias. Next time, tell Xet that he's biased towards Zero based on that observation. Watch him tear you a new one. If there's any char(s) that he's biased towards, it's Master and Juno. (Hell, Xet even called himself 'MMJuno' for a while, and one of his old avis was a Master Sprite he made.)

Zera =/= Zero. I've made that perfectly clear. Just to say it again:
ZERA IS NOT ZERO!!! Zera and Zero are related in appearance only (And even that only vaguely). They have different backstories. Zera's always a good guy, he's just been 'misguided' in the past.
Let's just say that there are things about Zera's past that could very well blow minds.
From most of your comments, it seems that you are acting like a certain recently banned member. You're just upset that I'm not acting upon some of your suggestions, and are blaming me and Xet for that, when simply they don't seem like such good ideas, and I'd like to ask Xet personally to come into this topic and defend himself. I'd also like to ask you to stop insulting other members without proof of your statements.

Vega, He's too intelligent to be rokku. Forgive him, MG, he's probably had a bad day.
Anyways, Vega, Zera is based on Zero- Zera is a new Zero. Get over it. Its good. Zero is awesome. Whats the problem? Nothing. Now get on with the actual game and stop typing retarded script. :P
Ryo Hazaki
01-08-08, 21:19
Then get that though MG's head, because he thinks that Zera and Zero are the same exact person. And no, I have not had a bad day.
As I said... I need A lot of help before the first demo sees the light of day.
Now... I request the Mods lock this topic before it gets spammed off-topic to hell, or before I do something I may regret.

Yes, optional boss not playable main character. Just like he said yes to having Aile and Giro make cameos.

First off, are you threatening me? And second off, yes a one letter diference in the name totally makes it a diferent character when the visual description is a dead ringer for zero.

If you're refering to that guy that kept cracking game demos and then posting links to those game files, no i'm not him. I won't shy away from saying sorry when the case calls for it, something he'd never do.
I'll admit I have gotten a little to involved in this discution, and I do admit i've been stating glaringly obvious things about xet without concrete evidence. I appologise to xet for that, and I appologise to you for trolling and spaming your story's thread. It is your story and you are free to do as you very well please, so with that in mind, i will from now on refrain from any further story related coments.
P.S. I'm not upset for you ignoring my ideas, I don't even consider the 360 mouse thing a good idea. I'm upset about seeing the great series known as Megaman Legends get nothing more that an X series clone when it diserves so much more.
@Sian: My initial plea was for originality. How can having a zero clone be considered original?

MG, he means you're acting like rokku, a member not many people liked and was many times humiliated by others, was perverse and idiotic.
Also, Vega, I was saying MG is correct, not you. =/

Well... I'll probably stick with button controls rather than using the mouse to aim in order to lessen the amount of spriting that needs to be done. (Seriously. Ya' know, i've been thinking a little about some of the sprites you need to do. Legends Station has a preety complete colection of the sprites used in Megaman Legends 1 and 2, so I'd really sugest you give it a look to see if there are any you could use.
Legends 1 sprites: http://www.legends-station.com/?page=mml1/sprites
Legends 2 sprites: http://www.legends-station.com/?page=mml2/sprites
Also regarding the game engine, i'd sugest you have a chat with R-Mega about using the cymetal engine and just adapting it to suit your needs as this would surely lighten your work load.
Ryo Hazaki
03-08-08, 15:52
Well, seeing as I've been respriting the L2 Life bar in MMZX style, that second link will be a big help, thanks.
I'll look in to asking R-Mega about using the Cymetal engine as well.

I'd also like to sugest that you use (mabe recolored versions of) the weapon sprites (on the very right side of the picture) from the first link to show the weapons available and equiped during the inventory and actual gameplay (placing the sprite for the weapon used, in the upper right corner of the game window for example) if your going to use the same weapons as Legends 1 and 2.
Ryo Hazaki
04-08-08, 10:50
Well, Trigger will be using the following weapons:
Machine Gun Arm
Spread Buster
Homing Missile
Drill Arm
Hyper Shell
Shining Laser
So remaking the weapon icons in ZX Style wouldn't be too hard. We can't use the L2 Icons for style mixing reasons, and even reshading them, they would be too big for any use.

What? No Vacuum Arm? You are evil!

I'm debating wether or not to add a 'Vacuum Buster' that would replace the normal Buster when equipped. But I felt that the Drill Arm/Kaiser Knuckle-Z were more important than the Vacuum Arm since they will be needed to complete a ruin.

Considering the mountains of zenny that will be needed to pay Roll for the weapon upgrades (if your going MML 2 style), i'd kinda consider the Vacuum Arm worth having.
Oh, and please hide those flash videos under a spoiler tag since a page (like this one) with many iposts by you gets really sluggish really fast.

I'll probably add the Vacuum Buster. But I'm trying to figure out how much each upgrade as well as the 'Exclusive' (Grants a new ability/effect) will be.
Mg_Spitfire
04-08-08, 19:38
No offence but unless the Vacuum Buster can both gather up everything useful and attack the enemy at the same time without any modifications, replacing your main weapon (the one with unlimited energy) with a support weapon that can only gather stuff just doesn't seem like a good idea.

5. Kattleox Island
(In the Flutter on the way to Kattleox)
Roll: I guess it's getting a bit crowded in here.
Barrel: Well, too bad Von Bleucher had to take care of some important business, otherwise we would be able to use the Sulphur-Bottom.
Yuna: Besides, we should be able to put up with a little cramped conditions.
Sera: We should be more worried about food reserves.
Trigger: Well, we shouldn't worry too much about that.
Roll: Thanks to the money Megaman and Zera got inside that ruin, we should be able to purchase a lot of supplies. And think about it, Gramps. You'll get to see Amelia again.
Levi: How often are they like this?
Zera: No clue. I just joined them myself.
(The Flutter lands on Kattleox Island normally)
(Zera, Trigger, Roll, Levi, Yuna, and Sera exit the Flutter)
Zera: So... Where would Megaman Juno be?
Trigger: That would be the Main Gate, but Juno wouldn't be there anymore.
Yuna: Why?
Trigger: Uh... I... Kinda destroyed him.
Sera: Well, his computer files should give us some idea as to why Zera was sent here.
Zera: You don't remember?
Sera: It's been thousands of years. It's possible my memories of that may have been corrupted.
Trigger: Well, we would still need the keys to enter the area Juno was in.
Roll: Hang on, Megaman!
(Roll runs inside the Flutter)
Zera: What the?
(Roll comes back outside and hands something to Trigger)
Trigger: These are...
Roll: I held on to them after the first time we were here in case you wanted to dig here again.
Narrator: Trigger and Zera got the Watcher, Dreamer and Sleeper Keys!
Trigger: Well then, shall we go?
Roll: Don't forget to stop by the shop first and pick up some parts and items!
(Trigger and Zera enter the Main Gate)
Levi: Zera, be careful. I'm picking up some interference.
Roll: You be careful too, Megaman.
Zera: Thanks, Levi.
Trigger: Roger, Roll.
(Trigger and Zera make it through the Main Gate while encountering and destroying any Reaverbots.)
(Trigger and Zera make it to the gates that require the three keys.)
Levi: Zera... ...terfer... ...ful...
Zera: Levi? Levi? Damn... The interference must be getting stronger.
Trigger: I can't even get Roll on the radio.
Zera: We'd better get inside then.
(Trigger and Zera go past the gates and where the massive refractor was in Legends 1)
Trigger: There was a massive refractor here...
Zera: Someone must have taken it. Come on, we need to keep going.
(Trigger and Zera make it to where Juno was.)
????: *hums*
Trigger: What? There shouldn't be anyone here.
Zera: Apparently you guessed wrong.
????: Oh, Hello.
(A picture of Juno is seen)
Zera: Who is this guy?
Trigger: Bureaucratic Unit 3rd Class Megaman Juno.
(The game returns to in-game graphics)
Juno: Purifier Unit Trigger, it is so nice to see you again. It appears I was reset at some interval beyond the control of Master, and I was just getting to my station when you arrived. I'd like to thank you, because it appears in my absense you took control of this station for me. Thank you. And I see you brought Recon unit Zera with you. What is the purpose of your visit?
Zera: We need to access your computer files.
Juno: Routine work, Zera?
Trigger: There's an inconsistency between Zera's logs and those on Elysium reguarding an incident that happened here.
Juno: Of course. Such inconsistencies must be resolved.
(Juno, Trigger, and Zera access the computer terminals.)
Trigger: Anything, Zera?
Zera: Nothing. What about you Juno?
(Juno is watching a computer screen intently.)
Trigger: Juno?
(A scene is shown of Trigger and Juno's battle in Legends 1)
Juno: Trigger... You have usurped my power, and acted outside of your parameters. You resisted my attemps to reinitialize the island, and had my backup memory files erased from Eden. Such acts are inexcusable. Now then, I request that Recon Unit Zera terminate Purifier Unit Trigger under my bureaucratic authority.
Zera: Not happening.
Juno: Then, I must eliminate you both. Prepare yourselves.
(Trigger/Zera and Juno battle. Trigger/Zera win.)
Juno: Not... possible... Such power...
(Juno explodes.)
Trigger: Man... That guy apparently had a one-track mind.
Zera: Forget it. We need to find those logs.
(Trigger and Zera examine the terminals, only to find that nearly all had been destroyed in the battle.)
Zera: !!!
Trigger: Find anything?
Zera: Yeah. Playing the file now.
(Video sequence):
Zera: What seems to be the problem Juno?
Juno: First, I would like to thank the Mother Units' quick response, and your speed in arriving here. I have been hearing disturbing things recently. Recently, Carbons coming from Nino Island have been carrying rumors of strange events happening there. Given that there is no Bureaucratic Unit there to inform Elysium, once I heard these rumors, I informed Elysium.
Zera: So, I guess that there's a glitch or something?
Juno: It may be worse than that. I was hoping that the Mother Units would send a Purifier, but I guess you'll do.
Zera: If you were expecting Trigger, it seems that Master is keeping him busy.
Juno: Master should not play favorites as a principle, but I believe he has a good reason for it.
Zera: I'll head for Nino Island and investigate the rumors.
(Video sequence ends)
Trigger: So... You knew Juno.
Zera: I guess so. I remember there was somthing on Nino island, but I can't remember exactly what.
Trigger: Then I guess your memories are coming back. And we need to get to Nino Island to find out what you were investigating.
Zera: Then we'd better get out of here.
(Trigger and Zera leave the Main Gate and return to the Flutter)
Sera: So. We need to head for Nino Island.
Zera: You saw that?
Yuna: Sera managed to tap into the Island's network.
Trigger: That's incredible.
Levi: Not really. She had to use our Spotting equipment to do so.
Roll: Their technology is incredible. So, let me guess, we leave for Nino Island?
Trigger: Yeah.
Zera: Yup.
Levi: Also, we can return here or to Gigas Island if you wish to do so later. The Gigas Arena has some good prizes that could come in handy later.
(The Flutter lifts off and heads for Nino Island.)
END SCENE.

More scenes, same old gripes from me. This, however, is honest criticism and not flames like i did in my first posts.
Loosing touch with originality aren't you?
Legends 1 and 2 only showed 1/4 the planet, which means there's a remaining 3/4 unexplored that you could use (and even of the used 1/4, there's still room for new cities). So why must you keep reusing the old locations instead of just making and using new ones (that have never apeared in the megaman universe, unlike GIGAs Island and its coresponding city)? Are you really considering something new or just a Legends 1 remake with a few Legends 2 elements?
I agree seeing the old locations again would be neat, but you are overdoing it.
And bringing Juno back? Talk about unoriginal.
