I know most people will say a megaman\sonic character, but it's not like i have anything to lose.

I have a few honourable mentions, but since they'll probably be mentioned anyway, i'll mention this virtually unknown bloke, my current fav, Hugo from street fighter 3\final fight.

Argila - Digital Devil Saga 1+2 Pink haired sniper rifle bitch. Yet somewhat sensible as well.
Alice - Dance Dance Revolution. you know, despite the fact that the characters have little or no distinct personality, Alice is my favorite one.
Goombella - Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Female goomba with wit. Just listening to some of her colorful commentary with her tattle ability made the game that much more interesting.
