Dont know if this allowed here but,
I want to make a fangame and I want it to tie into my fanfic (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2872169/1/)(The spot that I was too lazy to put in). What i need is this:
-Someone who can code an engine that is just like the 2D megaman psx games.
-People to submit ideas for story, bosses, enemies, and stage design.
-Someone to make the sprites(note: this will be a 32 bit game).
-Someone to draw the anime cutscenes.
-Voice actors.
-And anything else to make a game.
Man i wish i could do this stuff myself but i dont know how. I dont have any thing to give to anybody for helping out except giving you credit for what you did. Please help out

I'd be happy to help as far as sprites and voices go.

He's probably gonna need some samples of your voice, Rags.

I could do the anime cutscene art, I'm not the best, but I could do some. Doubt they will be animated, because I am too lazy to do that many frames.

I doubt he'd ask for animations... it is a fangame after all.

I may have to take back the offer, my skills of an artist have began to fail on me on account of my not drawing for a while, but if you want to see some of my art from before this has happened...

If you do like the style, I can try getting my touch back and help out.

Oh and could you guys try drawing this guy(he my fan caracter)i just wnt to see what he would look like(yes he will be in the game i want him to be like protoman in the old sieres except he is a ninga and throws small rolling cutters instead of shurikens)thnx. oh and King Reaper you sound like you could play the part of Bass

He looks like Cutman... Oh well.. I gues I'll do it.
I've also got a comic I'm working on, so the drawing may be delayed for a while.
I would be glad to help with spriting too, unless you have everyone you need.
My works are all here, even some I haven't shown in my sprites topic
http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y141/quickmanx2/Sprites/ (Sorry but by moving my sprites to another album I kinda broke my sprites topic up, I'll fix that later, when I get another update.)

Hmmmm... I can use Game Maker reasonably well (I've been in the process of making a Megaman Zero engine), but I've never played the classic series so I wouldn't be able to make an accurate engine for it. And unfortunately that's probably my strongest point when it comes to game making. So sorry, I don't think I'll be much use to this project.

Don't you need an proof of production?

Don't you need an proof of production?
Eh? What that mean?
In order to post about a game you need proof that it is actually being made otherwise your thread will be deleted.

But I havent started yet. I need a team so I can start on it. This thread is to make that team.
Dude, read da rulez
You may not start a topic in the game section, without working on the game itself.
The rules are clear. You need a proof of production, whatever the point of the topic is.

Well this sucks :( i dint see any thing when i read the rules that said i couldn't use it to make a team.
Don't worry about it just get some alpha screens up or hell even just a single sprite would do.
Just mess some stuff up in game maker, and here you are!!!

Or make a mock screenshot.
I think that's against the rules..
megalink6556

i guess i just try this game maker to make it
I think that's against the rules..
Mock screenshots aren't, but Mock Ups with little to no work done on them will certainly be frowned opon.
