Dunno what to think about this, other than the fact that the Wii-Ware Bomberman game on the page HAS been confirmed... so maybe it's actually happening:
A game starring Miles Edgeworth where you prosecute people instead of defending.

And all the fangirls squeal in unison. Though, I wouldn't mind getting to be on the other side of the court for a change.

These screenshots do not look appealing.

Perfect Prosecutor (DS/Capcom/??)
* A law adventure game where you act as the prosecutor.
* Main characters are Miles Edgeworth, Dick Gumshoe
* You control Edgeworth, searching for overlooked evidence and inconsistencies at the crime scene.
* New search and deduction systems are introduced.
The name of the game is Gyakuten Kenji / Turnabout Prosecutor Looks interesting.

Looks like Capcom finally realised that the DS is a more powerful platform than the GBA.
Whether this is a good thing or not, I don' know yet. Hard to judge a game by a few scans.
I wonder how prosecuting will work, rather than defending?
Also wakes you wonder who the defense attorney is. I'm certain it's not Phoenix. Seeing as how it'll most like take place before Nick started, or during the seven year gap.

Probably the same. I always thought that PW's system was geared more towards prosecution than defending.

Would make sense. Either way you're pointing out the lies in a person's testimony.
Hopefully you'll get to "battle" Pheonix in this game. And there are more courtroom battles rather than crappy adventure sections. Admit it, who plays Pheonix Wright games for anything BUT the courtroom battles?
The adventure sections in this look like classic PC adventure games. I can't remember if I liked or disliked those, it's been such a long time since i've played one.

The last game I played like that was..Tony Tough, I believe.
I was fun...ish.
I actually was thinking up this kind of stuff before. How a prosecution themed game would go. I figured that you should provide the right witnesses at the right time, discuss the things they're going to say, and prepare evidence to use to counter the Defense's objections.
Phoenix: OBJECTION! BladdybladdyBla.
Edgeworth: Hmm. [Present proof][Don't present]
OBJECTION! I've got proof that your deduction is incorrect.
Like that.
The other idea I thought up was Phoenix Wright in side-scrolling. I actually came up with a working system (altough I still need to do something about exposing lies).
But, until more is known, I'll remain sceptical towards this game. I really hope it isn't just milking the PW series.
Terry and I were talking in flash chat, and we thought that prolly won't be any Court Action in this game.
This game might be the Gyakuten NOT Saiban which, I think (Correct me if I'm wrong Tox) Turnabout NOT Court.
