Here are some MegaMan style Link sprites.

Things that need changing:
1) He resembles Megaman WAY too much.
2) He's got no ears! Link has elven ears!
3) Hat is too straight.

Fix these and this'll be acceptable.
I also recommend actually using the NES colours rather than custom ones.

the sword sprites look weird the first one doesn't have a handle, the second one is WAAAY smaller than the first

the sword in the sprites itself look stabbed in his arm...

just like ACE said the hat is too straight, its a little to big also

His Sword moves strange, and his ears are too big, and a different color then his face.

Ok, now those ears are far too oversied. Hat is still too straight. And you're proabably off better just removing the sword and including it as a seperate sprite.

Still resembles Megaman far too much.

I've given up on the Link sprites, but I made some 8-bit Mega Man X sprites.

8-bit sprites are far smaller, and an 8-bit x already exsist. I think from mm extream...

... Oh, well. Even then, he just convertet the shading to 8 bit.

How is it custom if it appears edited from that Megaman sprite...
Hence the before after thing.

If you actually did it custom, and used that as a refrence, take out the Before After thing, it'll get confusing.
Otherwise it's pretty good. Easy to do, but very good.

It's pretty good. His shield looks too high up, though, and oddly shaped.
