If you haven't heard of this, you've been under a fucking rock for the past several weeks. I'm actually suprised that there hasn't been a topic made already.

Anyways, as you all know, today was the 10th of February, meaning for great justice, Anon was out protesting in front of major centers of Scientology! Links for follow, by section.

[General]
A Message (http://youtube.com/watch?v=SQKbHBqDwSI) (Not Church0fScientology, but it seems to be repeated in several Anon Videos across UTube. I picked the one that was clearest.)
Patriotic Message from Anon. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22pBL20pxJc) (The above was also on AnonymousConnection, but AnonCon's wasn't as clear.)
Analyzing the Media: Spin Doctoring by Scientology!? (http://forums.enturbulation.org/viewtopic.php?p=22659) Who woulda thunk it possible!

Clearly, not even our food is safe from Thetans.

[London]
Video! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMB8DGUHZkM) (Anyone find it funny that the London Center for Dianetics and Scientology is next door to a Casino? =D)

[Los Angeles, CA]
Pictures! (http://www.rob-sheridan.com/tourist/scientology/) (Some of the pictures actually have subtitles. Some of them are quite interesting, such as the one involving a 'Frosty Co.' truck...)

[Austin, TX]
Photos! (http://www.flickr.com/photos/jimmydushku/sets/72157603882925682/) (Anti-Scientology Van for the Win!)

[Adelaide]
Local News! (http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,22606,23189665-5006301,00.html)
Better! Video News! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJJV9tH3XJw) (Scientology is quoted as calling Anon CyberTerrorists and Religious Bigots. XD )

That's funny, Tom Cruze just basically said he'd be a complete douche bag to someone in an accident if he wasn't a scientologist. So, if I'm not a scientologist, then I'll feel no remorse for someone who just got into a car accident? I need to pay money to be apart of a religion to learn ethics and morals that I otherwise couldn't find? Man, I had better do something about my predicament of being a catholic. :P

From what I observe, the basis of all religions is to be a good person. The difference between scientology and other religions is that you don't have to pay people money to be apart of them. That being the case, scientology sure as hell doesn't deserve tax exemption. So, I hope that's what's taken away from them.

As much as I don't like the idea of scientology, I REALLY don't like 4chan. Also, that picture is misleading, as Ron Hubbard the author of the book that eventually lead to scientology is not a scientologist, he's a freaking author, he wrote fiction.

http://theunfunnytruth.ytmnd.com/ - For those of you that ignore warning signs in the link (in which case you're probably ignoring this too), graphic images yadda yadda yadda.

To those of you who find fault with Anonymous, I highly suggest you at least research Scientology thoroughly before saying so. If it takes a raving band of sick fucks to provoke reformation these days, then so be it.

And, dualR, Hubbard was indeed a scientologist. He was also a science fiction writer who thought, and I quote (if somewhat paraphrased), that "Starting a religion... would be a great way to make money."

[A]nd I quote (if somewhat paraphrased), that "Starting a religion... would be a great way to make money."
"If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion"

or

"You don't make money writing science fiction. If I wanted to make money, I'd start a religion."

I was always under the impression that Scientology was something that tried explaining God and Deity related stuff by the means of science.

Also, Toxic, you might want to warn people that there are a couple of shocking images in that link. The eerie music strenghtens them too. I've got a strong stomach, but I still see the face of that woman in my head.
Also, my brother was freaked out by it, and left the room.

Just sayin' :P

I don't like it either. It's pretty laggy these days. But what's a site got to do with anything?

I've always thought that "anonymous" was a deadly hacker group that watches matrix too much . . .

If you use the word "hacker" to describe someone who refreshes a page until it slows down ever again I will GUT YOU AND FEED YOU TO SQUIRRELS.

According to Fox 11, Anonymous is a group of "hackers on steroids."
Well, I'm not a hacker.
I defiantley don't use steroids.
The media defiantly needs to get their facts straightened, along with the oblivious.

Mass Media + Video games or Internet = Misinformation.

I've stumbled upon many news articles, its like each one skews the truth more and more. First is that 4chan is an organised hacker group, then later it became a worldwide network or hackers and then the most misinformed news article I've ever read(I think it may have been Fox) claimed that 4chan was a well known terrorist group.

@Tox: I could've sworn I saw this documentary that said that Hubbard wasn't actually a Scientologist and he never endorsed it in any way. Must have been a long time ago for me to get the facts that wrong :P

Wow, this whole thing blows my mind. It's like some weird sci-fi novel and in the best (or worst) sense of the word. Just a comment. Please more links to evidence. AND I really hate to say this (because having to say this is a suppresion of democracy) I don't support or hate either of the groups, except scientology. Which I hate. Because they took chef off south park.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Hayes

Why do you hate scientology? Cause the voice actor for Chef quit after the scientology episode? Ya, he QUIT. He wasn't taken off, he QUIT. That article actually states that. Actually, the last episode with him was partially made from previous recordings.
Freakin' intolerant moron.

I cant speak for others, but I mainly despise Scientology's paranoia. How it fanatically attacks anyone who they even percieve as a threat can be billed for assassination. It's also contradictory, if the whole thing is based on science, why do they neglect it at every turn?

That, and you have to pay for the so called "enlightenment".

yeah yeah. I was afraid of getting warned or banned if I said anymore.
