Dying doesn't scare me.
The very concept of non-existance terrifies the shit out of me.
Could you possibly comprehend dying, and there being no after, no place for your "spirit" to drift off to? Just nothing. You wont even know it, because you're dead, gone. You wont even know if you're remembered. And in a few thousand years, you wont even be remembered.
Maybe I'm wrong, and there is an afterworld, or reincarnation. I hope, I PRAY there is. But until then, I'm going to be shitting myself at the very idea that once I'm dead, I'm nothing.
I hav an irrational fear of heights. I'm also afraid of death. Not for the reason GGhendrix is, but because I've got so much to live for, and life is such an uncertain thing, I could lose everything in an instant. My friends, family, everything, just gone and no way to get it back.
Circus Music. Just HOW do they make their music so darn eerly and disturbing?

I share that fear with you, but more prominently the fear of being forgotten. If I can change the world slightly, then I've at least left a mark. I don't, however, fear death itself.
My worst fear would be going to the depth dark void of eternal damnation...also known as hell! well I do suppose it depends on what you difine as "eternal" (some say, to a human its eternal but not, while others say it is) thats far nore frightning then the concept of the bleakness of death, at least your no longer aware of your situation anymore. Although I don't fear death, I'll accept my time to go since I believe life's been good enough to me what with my being born in the UK and all.

Spiders as well. I can look at spiders and not really have any trouble (unless they're those freaking Amazonian/desert giant spiders that are just ****ing insane and some that can even fly!), but if I ever touch a spider with my bare skin or if one jumps on me while I'm trying to kill it with a paper towel, I literally start to freak out and can feel itching sensations across my entire body and start to shiver.....
It's quite ****ed up.....

I have a few things to fear about but my one thing that I fear is that what if there was no god? Last night a stayed up shvering and thinking about this. If there was no god then what would happen? would the world not exist as we know or will we live in chaos where everything is like hell. And the devil is our ruler and we are his slaves. But then I think that couldn't posubly happen.God does exist and he is helping us everyday in our lives. Thats's what I fear most

As the devil/Satan is part of christian mythology, no god = no satan.
As Christianity = A religion brewed up stealing TONS Of rituals/myths/ideals from various pre existing faiths, then there is some argument that there is no God, at least a Christian God. (Example- Mithras was born on the 25th of December. He was also crucified. He also came back to life. He also ascended. Mithraism predates Christianity)
I believe there is a God though.
good. Now I can sleep tonight knowing ppl still beleave in god. He does exist! I am not lieing ppl have seen him. Ppl that have died then came back to life because it was not their time. I hope this doesn't start a flaming match in religion.God is real that's that you can change what happend years ago. Science can say anthing about what happened years ago. If you don't beleave in god your going to you know. and now in end it right.. here. *note no flaming match should be started from this*
Please don't bring religion into any topic on this forum ever kthx.

anyways another thing that scares me is Gays *shivers in fear*

...Even if I wasn't bisexual I would be saying that you are
A) Wrong
B) Evil
C) Fucking idiotic
What the FUCK business is it of yours judging other people on the backs of what they choose to fuck?
I got nothing against gays. What people do behind closed doors is their own business. It's when they start discussing it outside those doors that I get mad.
I'm afraid of dogs. Big ones. I had... a bad experience you might say.

Sorry for the double post, but I think that fact that you're a bastard and if there's a hell you're definetely going to it deserves it's own spot.
And no, I'm not attracted to guys. I have morals.
Edit: Hey, what do you know? Outposted.
hay dude you don't know me. Heck if you got to know me like shift did then I can be a Nice guy. But the thing about it is that if you piss me offf then you'll feel like your in hell. I will scare the crap outa you.so please just be nice to me k?
Population isn't a valid reason to hate homosexuals anyway, if anything it's for that fact that they are a benefit as one day overpopulation will see governments encouraging homosexuality (the practice of selective breding periods may one day come to pass).Besides that it's not like they actively try to recruit we hetrosexuals. Regardless what you said is retarted and you are clearly a child.
dude! I am 15!! not 12 nor 10 or even 9!!! I just have my resons why I hate them and there is nothing you can change to make me like them. They are scarey ppl. and so I bid you adue. I am living this thread. And finding another on to write in bye. *leaves*
Wonder if he thinks homosexuals can spell, and therefore he is jealous?
Anyhoo, snakes. I hate them. It's not so much a fear as I have picked up/killed them, I just can't stand them. Also heights, but I actually am learning to fly a single engine plane, so I'm getting over it.
You think that will change how you look at fast food places? Check this out.you've been warned... (http://www.deviantart.com/view/32704833/)
The scariest thing about McDonald's is back when they came out and said the "new" McNuggets where all white meat (a few years back only), they always looked pretty white before, so what the fuck was in them?
Rainbow Dash
21-06-06, 02:38
Dude, you really don't wanna know. Really.
The one thing that scares me, is Ace when he's angry. Basicly, when someone does, they go bye-bye. That, and Taco Bell. And public bathrooms. Not scary, but nasty. Really nasty! I think, what came out of a public bathroom, went into the McNuggets.
KFC originally introduced its "Popcorn Chicken" snack in the early 1990s but discontinued it after several customers complained of sickness upon eating the food, which consisted primarily of chicken skin. In the early 2000s, it reintroduced the snack, now complete with more meat attached. -Wikipedia
Even though you eat chicken skin, it's still a bit disgusting when thinking about that fact that it was just the skin deep-fried, no coating...

Is it terrible of me that I know that McDonalds food is, in essential, shite compressed into food format, and yet there will always be some dingy morning when I am hungover, and will go "...Hungry.....I have £1....I'm going to buy a hamburger from McDonalds, and then go to sleep on the bus."
Can someone do something about Haukura? I'm not bothered about the homophobic idiocy thing, just his idiocy in general.
He's too cretinous to be allowed to live.
Wasps scare the crap outta me....
GG Hendrix
22-06-06, 07:01
Aw, wasps make me fucking RUN.
I had to go to the hospital when I was 5 for over 50 stings.
If I see one I will either
A) Panic and run
B) Panic and panic
C) Panic and try to kill it and run
I haven't been stung for well over ten years, but I'm now in the mentality that when I see a wasp I think "SHIT! I'm overdue!"
I can't stand wasps either. I usually just leg it in the prescence of one, and come back when it's gone XD
GG Hendrix
22-06-06, 11:04
We had a bomb scare last year at work. (Dont ask, it was a hoax, but it was sooo funny)
Me: (to a workmate outside) it's good to see no one's panicking-FUCK A WASP (runs)
My tip- Spray them with polish. Gunks up their wings so they are reduced to crawling. Open the back door and flick them out
"AND NEVER DARKEN MY DOOR AGAIN YOU YELLOW AND BLACK SHITE!"

God I hate wasps and hornets. Whatever you do, never kill or crush them in any way. That attracts others.
I remember when I wasps went into my ice cream in some weired manner...my poor...ice cream ;"_"; other then that I haven't got bad experience with them.
Another fear would be if for the rest of my life I'll be isolated without no human contact for the rest of my life.
I'm scared of...almost nothing...but is not because I'm brave, no...is because I know most things I will come to face: Death, Heights, Wasps, Homosexuals (I'm Bi, don't judge), Rejection, Fire, Snakes, etc.
I will face it all, and know if I can or not take it. The one thing that does scare me is the fact that one day there will be no more world, and all that I knew and believed in will be gone. I'm also scared of knowing that God is so strong that I could die tomorrow and he could let it be that way, or I could die tomorrow and he could make everyone forget and make the day start over but this time allowing me to live.

I have no fear of dying, I've come close to death several times, what I fear is some one being killed because of me. I not being powerful enough, smart enough, or skillful enough to save them. That is what I fear.

For me its spiders, since I had a bad run in, woke up one morning (i was only like 4) and there was my mates pet one on my face. Needless to say i pretty much go into a coma if spiders are remotely near me.
Also needles. I hate needles, injections in general, and just... aah im all twitchy thinking about it... eeeh gah thats nasty. No idea why, always had a fear of 'em.

What? They're sharp. Self explanitory. The good news is they're usually SO sharp you won't feel it pierce your skin.
One more thing I'm deeply afraid of is aliens. Or rather, the thoughts I get when I've seen something with aliens in it: that, if there are aliens. space itself could be totally infinite. If that's the case, then me, as a person is almost completely insignificant to the way space-time plays out. I hate the feeling of unimaginable smallness.
I imagine zooming out on the earth, for like ten minutes straight, with one flourescent light representing me, and one for every other sentient being in the universe. By the time the zoom-out has stopped, my marker is so tiny I can't even see it.

But that also means that something small and unimportant can slowly destroy something as great and important as an entire planet, you're more than you think you are.

John Major! He's so Duuullll......
http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/gallery/2005/03/23/John-Major.jpg
Well, he was essentially put there to make sure Thatcher's reign of terror lasted just a bit longer, and in as boring a way as is humanly possible...
On a related note: people who are conservative (not the party, in general; this includes Republicans) and have narrow-minded views. And I really fucking don't want Cameron as our next PM. Just because he pretends he likes The Smiths (oh, I bet Morrissey's ecstatic about that) doesn't mean that he isn't a proper Tory...
(In a nutshell: I'm left-wing, kind of Socialist; put me in the Guardian-reading stereotype if you will. However I do think that Tony Blair and his New Labour government have become utterly useless and the Lib Dems have no hope of getting into office anyway, so we're screwed)
THAT is what I'm scared of!

Blue whales. That's right. Blue whales. Those things are HUGE! Now imagine having one swimming towards you. Your're just sitting there and you look down and this HUGE dark shadow passes under you, then all of the sudden, 10 feet away, a whale comes out and shoots water all over the place, not that bad, but then, you fall out of your boat, and while you're underwater you see this gigantic body swimming towards you... Fast. It starts out small and dark, then it swims and gets bigger, and bigger, and bigger and BIGGER! AND-- Yeah that would scare the shit outta me. Weird, no?
people who can't sprite. Like favic his sprites look like the came from someones nightmare. And some sprites you see make you wanna scream and run.

I have several fears actually.
Spiders.
Belive it or not, the smaller ones are the ones that scare me. I have absolutely no problem looking at or handling the big ones like tarantulas. The tiny ones are just elusive and you'll never know where the fuck they'll show up at. not to mention fast. But the scariest spiders are the medium sized. This way you know where they'll be at, and they are large enough to bite and harm you. There's a huge-ass wolf spider sulking around the house now actually, and I'm pretty anxious...
Darkness.
Yes, an innate fear from childhood that still persists, but to a lesser extent. When I was younger, I HAD to have all the lights on to sleep, otherwise, I'd be up half the night wimpering til I tired out. nowadays, I've gotten over it, but get freaked out from time to time, especially after watching ghost hunters...but that ties in with my next fear....
Paranormal apparitions or other activities.
I'm freaked about the thought of ghosts(no, not the sheet ones either, the real essence of ghosts) after watching all the shows on television and reading stories, I'm actually beliving in this. Not to mention that about 90% of us had had one supernatural experience or another. It's a fear that can't be explained accurately, It just...instills fear within me, yet I'm utterly fascinated by the topic as well...
I have other random things as well. Like the seeing of anyone scratch or cut the underneath of their wrists. This just sends me into instant cringe. I'm doing it while I'm reading this post even. I won't even scratch my own wrists, I rub them against the couch if they itch. It's a wierd personal habit I have....
And is anyone else wanting to gouge out Haukura's brain? This way he won't be able to type due to lack of motor skills and vegetative state. But I digress, for I don't want to have to take this back to the playground as I'd be no better than him...
Daemonseele
20-07-06, 16:43
I'm slightly Arachnophobic. By slightly, I mean:
1. Large spiders like tarantulas aren't scary.
2. If I don't notice it (even if it's on my shoulder), I'm fine.
3. Jumping spiders and, more importantly, Black Widows freak me out.
Having seen several Black Widows the size of a quarter and knowing the potential these spider bites can do, I've become quite paranoid against them, even when they're behind glass.
Darkness....KoA...same thing for me, I always get freaked out on the dark after watching a scary movie or some scary progam, but like I said before I'm gonna have to face that fear as well...darkness, something worked for me to make me lose my fear a little...but is too stupid to be said believe me....
crimson hammer
21-07-06, 00:17
Even if it is stupid I would like to know becuase I as well had a childhood fear of darkness and I still do but less When young I had to have my lights on. Then got older and I used a night light And still got scared couldn't sleep and then just got tired and went to sleep. Now I still used a night light which is stupid and try to sleep but then I always feel as if someone or something is going to creep over to me and well scare the hell out of me.
okay, fine...*sigh*....When in darkness and can't find the light, let darkness embrace you and it will give you a hand...it means that if you stay still for a minute and look around...you'll find that darkness is not that scary, just...waiting for you to calm down, worked for me...but now I gotta wait a minute or two before I actually walk around in the dark...
crimson hammer
21-07-06, 00:23
yeah I can walk in the dark but then I cant turn my back to the dark in other words close my eyes bbut good advice I SHALL TRY THIS ACT AND VANQUISH MY FEAR MAWHAHAHHAHA (coughs)
whenever I am in the dark I feel as if someone was watching me from behind....ready to scare the hell out of me...most timesI think is the girl from then Grudge, that movie taught me a whole new meaning of ghosts.
Hotenshu Shogun
23-07-06, 20:58
I would be out of a job if I was scared of the dark.
I'd say decapitated bodies (headless!!!).
I don't really know what I'm scared of... Wasps, kinda... However, my cousin spined a wasp with a steakknife last time I was at his house... It was great. It couldnt sting, but it was alive enough that the rest of the nest didn't come.
