Posting recolours here usually gets people to dislike you. So does saving as JPEG. And claiming credit for something anyone here could do in half a minute.

Please try making actual edits for a change. You know, somthing actual effort was put in. :p

Seriously, if you want people to say anything good about what you post, you should really at least spend more than a single minute working on it.

Your title says Metal Slog.
Since it is obvious you are new to spriting, never save as JPEG, recolouring is the lowest of the low, and asking for credit for a recolour is just plain stupid.

You are egoistic. That is very bad for any type of art. Your colour editing abilities are not something to be proud of, as non-idiots can do it.

PD is not a person, place or thing. It is an abbreviation, standing for Public Domain, meaning anyone can take and use, but not say you made it. Before you go around editing Megaman, look at some of the threads here to see what style you like, and go try it out. But do not just recolour.

I am not being harsh, just giving C&C, without the unnecessary praising.

Now, it is time to change that sucker(sprite).

First, let's start with the head, pull of the hood and take of the mask. You're new so take someone else's head from the game and edit it on.

Second, how about changing his shirt to a t-shirt?

Third, give in different shoes. Try boots.


Remember, it doesn't have to be amazing, just try and you'll get it right. Also make sure to save in PNG.

Thank you all for the comments (even the hurtful ones) yes i'm new to spriting but not to making video games. I have a program where you can use sprites to make video games, i might just show you guys some. (if i ever finish)

Evidently, doing recolors isn't necessarily bad or evil, but what Terry said is right. I'd like to see what you can do with actual spriting, and not recolors.
