Hack team for what exactly?

for this game im making. its gonna be a battle network game where Bombman EXE is the main char. and he is good and smarter. but i dont know how to hack a megaman game so i was looking for a hack team to join so i could learn how to hack and have someone help me with this.

I don't think what you're talking about is conventional. Or legal. In fact, it is most definitely not legal. :P We can direct you to a place to learn about PD ROMs or to a good game making utility, but if you're looking for people to help you do something... unorthodox, I'm afraid you'll have to look elsewhere.

Then again, there's a chance I'm misunderstanding what you're saying (a rather large one), so if you wouldn't mind clarifying in a more easily understandable manner I would be able to better assist you.

thats illegal? i thought it was only illegal if you tried to sell the game you hacked. im really sorry.:(

and what i meant by hack was to hack the rom of a game, not the real one...

It's a blurry line with ROMs. To my understanding, you want to hack and build upon a ROM of an official Battle Network game, correct? Just downloading a ROM to begin with is illegal, and distributing a version of it, however altered, would be as illegal as distributing the original version. :P

If this is what you mean, than I'm afraid you won't be able to find help here. However, we can show you alternate methods to produce a game, such as building a PD ROM from scratch (this is a lot of work and requires a lot of expertise), or using something as simple as game maker, or something as complicated as building your own engine (again, this requires a lot of expertise and patience).

If, however, you mean something else and I've misunderstood, feel free to explain what you do mean.

To be honest, I know little about game building; you'd be best off asking someone else.
