I've seen much more violent, and gory, but damned if this simple video isn't one of the most disturbing I've ever seen.

Right, well that was a complete waste of 4 minutes of my time...and I didn't find it quite so disturbing.
A manky sink, film that's trying to look old and tired, some CGI added to his head where he has "shot" it, and some random clique flicking imagery that neither means anything or is particularly scary. Verdit: Meh.
You want disturbing? Try this:

The last two shots of the multiple...things...is particularly freaky.
Also, what the hell is it with people holding guns to their heads and killing themselfs recently? seems to be a growing trend.
EDIT: Also that thing Gaga showed would be great to be featured in Silent Hill where your locked in a room with little kiddies toys.

I love the vid, but probably because I'm biased to anything Stephen O'Malley is a member of.
Disturbing was possibly the wrong word for it, (To this day I have to see anything worse than 'In Roses She Slept') I saw it the other night at three in the morning on TV and we were like.
"Oh cool, Khanate have a video"
"Yeah!...Bit slow innit?"
...
"COOL!"

No, goths dont like doom music.
Avant garde art fags everywhere masturbate to it though (the video, not doom music)

Bluesonnet has earned himself a free pint for the best use of the word 'conceptualist'.
Often I sit awake at night wondering why emo's dont listen to doom.
But that would warrant them listening to music that wasn't written by angsty kids... hmm
(Slow and heavy riffs, mournful/powerful vocals, you get the drift. Think of Black Sabbath. Standard doom is Black Sabbath and anything simillar. ie- Candlemass. Then you get bands like these who use raw vocals, ie- My Dying Bride. Then you get Funeral Doom, ie- Khanate. Very slow. Very loud. Very bloody miserable.)
And finally you have drone music, which will fucking go RIGHT over the heads of everyone here :p
John Peel swore by the stuff though, the crazy man.
However, if you're like me and find miserable/epic/mournful/loud music, to some twisted variant of the expression, relaxing (Or in some cases, uplifting. SUNN O))) for example divide their songs into the ones that fill you with power, and the ones that make you go :() then horrible gritty noise = good.
As for Goths- I went to see Mortiis a few months back (industrial rock. Probably gothic to some degree. The guy used to dress like a troll/goblin/thing. His old stuff is PROPER goth music, synths and whatnot. [which goths hate])
Anyway, the opening bands were these two thoroughly awful, though hillarious to watch, goth bands called DeadFilmStar and Gothminster.
Even funnier than the bands was the crowd that turned out for them.
I'd never seen so much make up, COF t-shirts, and red and black.
On the positive side = Goth girls come in two varieties. Morbidly obese, and hauntingly beautiful. This gig was packed with the latter, so the opening bands weren't totally awful.
I was quite surprised at the audience for Mortiis, I had expected it to have become even more goth'd. This was not the case, all the goths cleared off after the sucky bands had been on, and when Mortiis came on, his crowd turned out to be
A) Standard issue metal fans
B) Middle aged rockers
C) Gary Numan fans :D
