Uhmm "Akatsuki" is the group and there are like 8 members the only ones revealed in the US are Uchiha Itachi(one of the last 3 uchihas) and Hoshigaki Kisame(one of the seven swordsman of the land of water or mist or something)

The reason he doesn't move is because he is such a badass, why would he need to? Beside, I believe he moves a lot more in the second series so he isn't lazy.

Anyways, my favorite character is Sakura, for the sole reason that she is really, the only mature one out of the group. Plus, she kicks ass in the second Naruto series, Shippuu-whatever-den or something like that.
