If, say, you see that somebody has a sprite that you like, but you are too proud to ask or give permission, so you just sprite the same exact pose as the other guy. Does that need cred?

The pose isn't much of a problem :P

If you resprite the character, then yeah, I think you should still give credit. For an example, let's look at it the other way around.

You made a sprite. A good, non-PD sprite. I like it, take the concept of it, and resprite it. I then use it in a comic/game/whatever, and I don't give any credit.
Would you like that? If the answer is yes, then congratulations, you just missed my point.

I have no idea what you're asking and I'm going to need you to clarify in case you're thinking of doing something stupid.

He's asking that if you like a specific pose that someone has made for a sprite sheet, if you can make one of your sprites in that pose.

I think they deserve credit, like, what if you made some super awesomeness pose that no one would ever think of, than suddenly everyone has it and you wanted it to be only YOUR characters....Yeah, I think It needs credit.

I still have no idea what he's asking, so please stop making assumptions and let him answer for himself.
