Same goes here, but I AM getting the mock-up Halo helmet they have on display at my local EB games. ;p

I've played Halo, I've beaten it, and I hated it. Therefore, I'm not giving its sequels a chance.

I HAVE played the first two Halos partly, and I disliked them. Then the hordes of fans came along and I started to dislike it even more.
Halo is one of those either-you-love-it-or-you-hate-it-games.

No, Halo is one of those "Mediocre games that you may or may not really like but gets old when it's the only videogame anyone seems to play or think exists" kind of games.
Any Smash Bros. Game > Any Halo Game

That's why I'm reserving Brawl. ^_^
Halo 1 was pretty fun, especially the multi (yes, I was able to go past the "micro$hit = $uxxorz loooool!!!1!" and actually enjoy the game)
Halo 2 was a deception... the story was uninteresting… the graphics were lame (the textures were slow to load so for seconds we could see models without bump-mapping or textures)… the destructible vehicles killed a lot of the fun in the multi… and I just hated the end which was only a “to be continued lol”…
I won't get Halo 3 since I don't have a 360… nor I have a Wii or a PS3… I'm absolutely not interested in this generation of consoles…
And please… just STOP the "SSBB > Halo 3" comparison… it’s totally ridiculous and reminds me of Jeuxvideo.com’s forum (and this is NOT a compliment)…

You mean the Halo Movie?
I wouldn't buy the game because of two reasons:
a-) I don't own a X-Box 360
b-) The only Halo I played was 1 for the PC (Demo/Trail) and the only thing I found good about it was the multiplayer. The Story Mode gave me a headache.
Maybe that was more than two reasons...XP
But if I was a fan of X-Box, I would be interested.

The Halo movie / series won't come about unless they get more funding. My friend tells me that they spent all their money just getting the damn costumes and props, let alone actually start filming.
I've actually seen a teaser for the movie... It brought up a LOT of questions. O_O
