Wow, that's a long list... I think I should should lump some of the single poses together.
Broken links? Please tell me.
Roll looks good except for two things.
1.You need her bangs in the front of her face.
2.You need to open up the hair at the back a little more than that.

They look very good(better than most/all of my Overworld sprites). I think you should give Roll a taller ponytail(one that sticks up rather than down, and a little more shading on Kalinka's hair.

Good job. How long have you been spriting? Keep up the good work.
Btw, I always consider Battle Sprites to be the easiest, as you have the access to the most parts(i.e more variation) and they're all basically the same angle.

Don't boost my ego too much or I might just get a big head. =)
How long have I been spriting? Um... *checks date of her first sprite* I'd say a year? Then again, I sometimes went for a couple months without spriting anything, even a recolor, because school was keeping me busy (and it will be now). I'm trying to wean myself from NES sprites. Hence, the results.
I was in a battle sprite mood, and look what happened. I attempted a battle sprite, and this is the first one that was not mostly a recolor (I mean it -- the other three I did were my Quint.exe, Classic Mega, and Classic Proto. Pretty much nothing custom was required).

This is Meroko Yui, a Shinigami from my favorite anime/manga, Full Moon. I think the most difficult part about her were her rabbit ears, as I couldn't get them to angle properly. Her hat is completely custom drawn, though. =)
Did I capture her image well, considering how inexperienced I am with battle sprites?

As a matter of fact, I DID make Create-a-Navi stats for her, long before I made this sprite. But I didn't finish them. ^^;; Hmm, maybe I should sprite the other main characters... but Takuto's gonna be hard...

Mecha, since the description is pretty long, I stuffed them in the Spoiler tags to prevent my post from being a mile long. Also, I came up with both Takuto and Meroko as dual Navis that support each other, considering how close the original versions of them were. Remember, I didn't finish her, and if I think a little, I could probably come up with better attacks for them.
Operator: Mitsuki Kouyama / Full Moon
Description:
Mitsuki: She normally wears a lavender dress, with long sleeves with white panythose and black Mary Jane shoes. There are small pink frills on the top of her dress, around her neck, and a white... something (I dunno what it's called, but it's below the neck, like a Japanese school uniform) with black buttons. Her hair is dark brown, with extremely curly pigtails that reach down to the top of her neck. Her eyes are dark brown as well. Her height is 4'6", and she is actually kind of skinny, but not too skinny. Mitsuki is a twelve-old-girl with throat cancer, which prevents her from speaking out loud, yet she loves to sing, and is willing to do almost anything to sing. Her parents are dead, and she lives with her strict grandmother and a housekeeper. Mitsuki dreams of going to America to be with a boy named Eichi Sakurai, who she met when she was five, and who moved away when she was ten (Eichi is four years older than her), and she thinks of Takuto and Meroko as very good friends, and nothing more. She is almost always carrying around a single-strap shoulder bag, which has Takuto and Meroko's Navi symbols on it.
Full Moon: The beautiful, gorgeous 16-year-old alter ego of Mitsuki. She has the same innocent personality and the same dark brown eyes, but her hair is not only long, straight, with two balls on the top of her head, but has a gorgeous, yellow-gold color. And it shines, too. She is now 5'6", slimmer, and more like a teenage girl. There is also a pair of wire-framed, circular glasses on her eyes, and a small brown felt hat on her head. She normally wears a sleeveless lavender shirt with a white skirt, which has a few frills, white knee-high socks and high-heeled white shoes. Also, Full Moon is able to sing as loud as she wants, as she does not have the throat cancer Mitsuki does. She also carries around the shoulder strap bag that she has as Mitsuki.

Description:
Takuto (normal form): His Navi symbol consists of a gold border, pale blue background, and smiling cat head (like the one Takuto transforms into). Takuto generally wears a black turtleneck sweater, with a blue long-sleeve shirt over it over it. He has blue jeans and white-and-black sneakers. He wears fat, tan gloves that have his Navi symbol on it. His hair is grayish-black, with bangs, and a bit of it is tied into a small ponytail with a blue ribbon, while his eyes are greyish-blue. Also, Takuto wears a white hat that resembles cat ears (and it covers the entire top part of his head). The hat two has a blue ribbon around the perimeter. Also, there are two more blue ribbons hanging down the sides of his hat. His Navi symbol is also on the hat. Takuto also has a small brown square backpack. It has two small white angel wings (that are about the size of his head each) jutting out of it. Takuto floats, as well. Takuto is not much of a strictler for rules, and doesn't care that whatever he does might break the rules of the Shinigami. Even though he may have a strict expression on his face, he is actually kind and gentle. He feels affection for Mitsuki, and doesn't exactly understand why (yes, he's dense).
Takuto (cat form): The stuffed cat is white, with tiny, pencil point eyes. It has a blue collar with gold bell on it. It is shaped like a human being, with a very long tale. The ears and head of the cat match the cat on his Navi symbol and his hat. The head is also unusually large, compared to the rest of the body. Takuto can be seen by normal humans in this form, and he can still walk and talk.
Meroko (normal form): Her Navi symbol consists of a gold border, pale pink background, and a smiling rabbit head (like the one Meroko transforms into). Meroko generally wears a small red skirt with white frills, and a red strapless bra (I'm serious here; no giggling) with white frills. Also, she has VERY large red boots, that are curved at the toe, and which end just below her knees. She has reddish-pink eyes (not the evil kind), and extremely long, wavy, wide reddish-pink hair that reaches down halfway her boots. She also has bangs, and a lock of her hair is curled at each ear. She wears red gloves, much like Takuto's, and it has her Navi symbol on it. She also wears a rather tall top hat, with a black strip running near the bottom of the tall part (which also has white frills jutting out of it). On the brim of the top hat are two long white rabbit ears, with pink insides. Meroko also has small white angel wings about the size of her head, visible even though her hair is behind them (but they are actually attached to her, not like Takuto). Meroko is actually superior to Takuto in their work, and she is a strictler for rules, always pulling out the "Shinigami Handbook" when she wants to check a rule. She is jealous of the affection Takuto feels for Mitsuki, as she is deeply in love with Takuto (in the show, it is revealed that she has confessed 58 different times to him, and is rejected each time). However, she too has a heart of gold (especially when she learns that Mitsuki is in love with a boy named Eichi, not Takuto).
Meroko (rabbit form): Meroko can transform into a small, stuffed rabbit. The rabbit is pale pink, with a large head and long ears (much like the one on her hat). Her eyes are large, compared to Takuto's, and are deep red glasses (the one you drink from). She has a red ribbon bow tie on around her neck, and very large feet. She has a small cottonball-like tail and small white angel wings on her back. She too can walk and talk and be seen in this form.
Both:
Both Meroko and Takuto are able to travel to the real world and look human (they don't have a specific set of clothing they wear in the real world; it's whatever they feel like at the moment); however, this takes a tremendous amount of power, meaning they cannot do this very often and they cannot do anything else in this form besides transform back. Other people are able to see them in this form, and they are stronger than normal, but still weak compared to their Shinigami form (XD watch Episode 31 on YouTube, where they first appear in human form; it's hilarious!).

Abilities (Takuto):

Handbook: Regular Attack. Meroko pulls out a large, fat, red book and throws it at the border between her and Takuto's field and the opponents. The book, when landing, will land on a random page and stay that way for two seconds before acting. When the book lands on a pale yellow page with red backwards text that says 'HURT', the opponent will lose 30/45/60/75/90 HP. When the book lands on a page with normal black text that says 'HEAL', Takuto will gain 30/45/60/75/90 HP. The book itself has 10/20/30/40/50 HP.

Locate Mitsuki standing outside Seed Records center, and talk to her.
Background:
Mitsuki discovered that her cancer is growing worse. On the same day, she got back a response for the tape audition she had sent to Seed Records, and she discovered that she had passed. She asked her grandmother to go to the audition, but her grandmother, who hates music, tore up the response and told her to never think of becoming a singer again. Upset, Mitsuki sneaks away from her grandmother and runs away from home and wanders around the streets for awhile. She is debating on whether to disobey her grandmother by going to the audition or waiting another few years before trying again.
Around then, her PET starts beeping, which confuses her, as she doesn't have a NetNavi. She pulls it out, and sees two NetNavis, Takuto and Meroko, arguing with each other as to whether they had found the correct PET or not. Mitsuki interrupts them, asking who they are. The two introduce themselves as Takuto and Meroko, and explain that they are NetNavi Shinigami. Mitsuki begans fearing for her life, wondering whether they are there to kill her, but Meroko blurts out they they weren't there to kill her yet, but that she still had a year to live. Mitsuki realizes that if she wants to fulfill her dreams as a singer, she had better do it now.
So Mitsuki, instead of wandering the streets, remembered the address where the second part of the audition was to be held, and ran there, despite the protests of the NetNavi Shinigami. When she reaches the place, she pauses, instead of going in. Takuto asks her why, and Mitsuki says that the audition for 15 and older, and that she is only 12, and, while she faked it on the first part by saying she was 16, she won't be able to fake it now. She wants them to help her, but they refuse. She begins to look sad, and promises that if they let her go to the audition, she'll do whatever they want if she fails it. Takuto begins to pity her. So he tells her to take a bit of her own blood and place it on a blank BattleChip, and then to send the BattleChip to him. She does so, after hesitating a bit. Takuto pulls out a sword, cuts himself, and lets a drop of his blood mix with Mitsuki's on the BattleChip.
The BattleChip is then ejected, but it now has a picture of bright white energy on it. Takuto tells her that whenever she inserts the BattleChip into the PET and he snaps his fingers, her blood mixed with his blood will allow Mitsuki to transform into a 16-year-old, a completely healthy girl named Full Moon. However, once she removes the chip, she will revert to her normal self. Mitsuki inserts the chip, and Takuto snaps his fingers, and Mitsuki transforms into her 16-year-old self (This is only possible because he is a Shinigami).
After thanking him, Mitsuki runs off to the audition, leaving the PET with Takuto and Meroko in the waiting room with her other things. At this point, Meroko asks Takuto whether he had only helped her because he fallen in love with her. Takuto dodges the question, but Meroko is still suspicious, and she berates him by saying that they were not supposed to put spells on humans or other Navis. Besides, if Mitsuki makes it, she won't listen to them. Takuto tells her to relax, and that there's no way that Mitsuki can win the audition.
However, Mitsuki amazes the judges with her voice, and she wins the audition. Both NetNavi Shinigami are astonished. So now, they merely watch her, offering her advice if needed, and helping her escape from her grandmother by projecting a realistic hologram of her to stay at home. Also, they watch her and protect her when situations that may shorten her life are presented. As the three get to know each other better, Takuto and Meroko realize that they don't want Mitsuki to die, and dread the supposed day of her death...

Well, it shouldn't be that bad. The only things I really have to sprite are her hair, hat, and rabbit ears. The rest of it is just a Roll with 25%-sized Faltzer wings recolor. But it will take me awhile, since it's Senior year at high school and I'll be busy.
I wasn't THE original Create-A-Navi creator, but I was one of the first few that participated in them. =) I have a bunch of Navis sitting on my hard drive.

The funny thing is, most of the colors ARE from official mugs... the only ones that aren't are the greens on Quint's helmet, the main blue color of Rock's helmet, and the grays. I didn't want to use Rock.exe's blue, and the greens available were either too light or too dark for Quint. As for the grays... maybe I didn't look hard enough.

It kind of looks funny how the helmet and eyes are facing two different directions. Rockman's eyes should face in the same direction as the helmet is facing or the helmet should face forwards like the eyes. The other mugshots looks nice so far. Nice job on the overworld for Roll.

He's right. That's all I did. True, I did a little bit of recoloring and Frankenstein-ing, but it worked. You really can't tell someone how to sprite. I started spriting last year, and trust me, you just have to start. It's like drawing; you can give someone the tools, but you can't tell them how to draw.
I added two more sprites to the Roll sheet up there - two poses of Roll in her pre-MM8 dress.

The conversion of roll looks very well done, and I love the last two frames.
I'm not sure if you mentioned it, but are you planning on sheeting that dress?

Better...sort of..It looks more like he's going to hug someone.
Also, the rectangular gem might need to move to the right one pixel, so that it follows the curve of the part on top of the helmet...Or, it just looks weird to me because it's shaded wrong. Try fixing the shading first.
Other than that. Perfect.
(the problem with the pose is that his left arm (our right) is too high up, making him look like he's trying to grab around something and hug it)
It also bends the arm in a very odd angle. Before was a better pose for him.

The limit is 16, but without the one for transparency, then you would have either another layer with only two colours, or a block of colour around the sprite at all times.(Not sure, but I think that is what would happen)
On the MegaMan in X1-3 three style, you need to make him shorter, and kid like. The helmet seems too large.
So I was right. I was thinking it was 16 colors +1 to make a total of 17. There's a reason all my sheets have 16 colors,without transparency. Because I didn't think the sheets had odd amount of colors. If you look at them all, the colors are within 4x4, which would mean that it had to be 16, and not 15.

Because if they're talking about the sprite only, and not the phycial background we put around the sprite, then that is correct.
I thought the word background was referring to our backgrounds.

Yea, Xet think of it this way. 15+1=16 right? Now, Double that and you get 32. Which is the bittage. That's how it works.
For Model R, All I see is a recolour with a peice of supposed hair shaded badly. Look at the civilians and Ashe for hair shading refrences.
I never had to worry about it because I always used the 4x4 rule, which amounts to 16 anyway. The term for "background" threw me off.
As for Roll, too little of an edit from ModelX. You need way more detail.
As for Mayl, she looks great.

And Chaud has the scarf because this is him in ZX, not a conversion of sprite styles. This is more based off classic Proto than EXE Proto.
I tried to give his hair the illusion of two colors, because actually giving it two colors would go over the color limit.
Model R and B look too much like X. The scarf might look better with some more contrast, and Chaud's hair could go down a pixel/be shorter by a pixel.

About Roll: Give her hair, and you did better with more detail. Add some more. About Chaud: The hair's front bangs need to be pushed back 1-2 pixels. And his face looks nothing like Chaud's...I think it's the eyes...

I tried to edit Chaud's eyes, but I'm not sure how to do it. I cut his hair a bit, and moved his hair down one pixel... maybe I should get rid of his bangs?
Model R, I added a bit more gold trim to the chest area, modified the helmet to make it more round, and slimmed down her boots. I also tried to make the helmet appear to be almost completely pink with no headgem.
Model B, I removed the gold bands on his hands and legs.
The Model X's are up there just as a reference for me. Seems like it's easier to decide what to change with them there...
I just noticed...
Well, other than they STILL look too much like Model X, with Chaud, he gets shorter in Model B, and Mayl gets taller.
All you are doing is recolouring Model X and making very minor edits.
With your models take the sprite of what it is supposed to be and use at as a reference.

I know what they're supposed to be. ZX versions of Roll.exe and ProtoMan.exe, with classic references thrown in. But both have round helmets.

Back to working one at a time. I'm not even going to touch ProtoMan anymore until this is better. Anyways, Model R gained a different style of boots and chest armor (that chest armor is NOT an edit of Model X's), and her height now should match Mayl.

The helmet looks much more like the original's, and not at all like ModelX's.
Definitely a workable concept.
Needs some sort of pink head gear to attach the antennae.

Maybe making the "ribbon" the transparent energy green it is in Bn?
That way it won't blend in too much with the hair behind.

If I make the ribbons green, it goes over the color limit, and I kinda want to stay in it. Besides, the official art for BN Roll had it as transparent yellow. But I might try NDraxion's idea; I was thinking about that earlier anyways.
It won't be over the limit if you make all the colors more accurate.
You'll have to rework a lot of things, but it's possible.
Besides, a lot of official sprites layer their sprites (if they have hair or extra parts that go over the limit) just so that they technically are in the limits...

They look (and seem to be exactly the same) as the underlying skin thingy (whatever it's called) that Vent and Aile have. To fix this, I'd try, uh... making them look like shorts. *shot*
Let's see, his arm farther from us makes it look like his chest is bulging, not sure how you can fix this though. (Or it could be just me.) Another little thing is the leg FACING us doesn't look like it connects to the shoe properly, like it's at a different angle, and it kinda looks like it's slightly bent in the wrong place for the knee. Also, the shorts look skin tight, but that's probably because they don't look like shorts >_>;
(For the shorts thing, try looking at a sprite with shorts, like Aile or a NPC >_>; )
But otherwise, you're doing good =D
Keep at it, and you'll get better~

Anyhow, onto your new sprite there. Besides being somewhat of the generic type model (too similar to Model X), it's kinda cool. The middle horn thing on top doesn't look centered, and the shoulder pads don't look like they're covering the shoulder, more like they ARE the shoulder.
Otherwise, it's good =P

And of course it's missing the flaming tail. But so far, the accuracy is great.
Another thing I'd suggest is maybe making the ears wider apart at a different angle, to better who how wide the head is of the character it's based off.
But so far it's very well done in accuracy.

Done a bit of work on Model Ha. I added the flaming tail and gave him a second pose that is a bit hunched over. I just couldn't get the helmet to widen without messing up, so I haven't done that yet.

Considering how much people hate MM7 edits, I left it up to you if you want to see it or not. <_<

I realy hope you continue that MM7 Edit, it would be realy nice to see a sheet for that.
As for Model Ha; if/when you plan expanding that for a sheet, you might be able to make use of Grey's cables to make frames for the tail. Also, you could stand to add more original deatails on the upper legs and torso. trying to find concept art to refference the finer details might help.

I do plan to finish the MM7 edit.
At the moment, I already am using Grey's frames for the tail (both sprites use a different frame). Unfortunately, I have yet to find concept art of Hanumachine. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places? *shrugs*
Hmm... I see a few more things I can do. The fact that Model Ha already has two frames is a sign that I really like it, so, who knows? <_<;;

Remember how I was working on Chaud and Model B/Pr earlier? I've come back to that. Except, I scrapped Chaud and simply just made him Blues/ProtoMan... I may decide to remake Chaud later. But for now, this is what I have. I left Model X and the older version on the bottom for comparison.

ZX Roll - Good job here, however, the whole sprite doesn't look ZX, as it looks like everything has an outline. You have to more or less interchange colors into the border, not just have a dark color outline.
BN Overworld Roll - No comment, since I have little to no knowledge on BN style itself and it looks fine to me anyways =P
Blues/Protoman - Again, good job, though you can tell the parts where you made it yourself. Try making him SHINY, almost BLINDINGLY SHINY. Like normal ZX sprites. Rather, add highlights, to both Blues/Protoman and ZX Roll.
Otherwise, you're doing a good job, keep it up =D

I kinda like this one. It's a standing sprite for Blossom (the little girl NPC who is held by her father) from ZXA.
Roll looks perfect as far as I can tell from first glance aside from her age being older (which is good, because I prefer her older) but is this supposed to be a perfect transition from the classic games? If so, she should be shorter.
Judging from how well you did from Blossom, this shouldn't be hard for you. However, if you don't want it to be a perfect transition, by all means keep Roll at this age's height because I think it looks great. Well done.

It's not supposed to be a perfect transition, and I prefer her to look older as well. Something about the Classic characters being little kids really bugs me, so in my mind I've always pictured them as being in their teens. Hence, the result.

I don't remember her name in the English version of the anime, but in the Japanese version, her name was Manabe. I didn't just take an NPC and recolor it, even though it may seem like that... I figured that since I was doing anime-only characters, I might as well make her.

-Trimming Roll's ponytail

Trill looks great. It would be great if you added some extra poses. Manabe is a character I don't really remember from the anime. Right now it seems like a regular NPC. I do like how the hair looks on her, though. :3
Roll looks great as usual. Her tongue looks weird. Like it's just a red stick in her mouth. And, what happened to her front and back walking? Mitsuki is a great job. Looks exactly like the art, but what about putting some shoes on her? O:

The 100% scratch sprite I made for Tuna's contest. The V1 is the version I submitted for the contest, and the V2 is the edited version I made after it was over. I fixed (I hope) the shading on his far leg, and I changed his shooting pose, but I haven't been able to make a larger helmet without screwing it up yet. ^^;
Oh yeah, I also changed the light blue shades around. Hopefully, there's more contrast.

When pointing the buster, his left arm is too low and the shoulder joint is broken. You either need to raise the arm, or have it curve more than that.

Your overworlds are great. I especially like the Pride you just did.
I'm also liking the Pride sprite (Although I loath the anime persona for Pride... She lost the evil streak... and became stereotypical princess... T.T)
I'd still tweak the stance and move the hat down a little though. It may not be pulled down over her eyes. But its not quite high enough for the bill to be straight facing the viewer.

It isn't my thing either, I'm more comfortable with BN. But I was searching through my old sprites and found this, so I figured I might as well work on it. And thanks.

Technically, the green part of the Biometal is supposed to represent MM8 Roll's hair ribbon, though it does like a butterfly. I'm satisfied with Mayl and have been for awhile, but I'm still fiddling with the model itself. =/ I used SC's PD female Model X since it looked a whole lot better with a feminine pose than the normal ones...
I think the main problem is the legs (right) -- at least the head and chest armor were changed. I've tried giving her a short skirt, but so far, it hasn't worked. Actually, I haven't worked on Model Roll in a really long time, since last time I posted her here -- today, I just focused on the Biometal, and put what I had of her there.

Okay, I've playing with the design. I changed Model Roll's pose a bit, giving her different arms. In order: Mayl, initial design, different palette, new one, Biometals. Ignore the little bits and pieces of sprites.
I think the green needs to look less like antennae and more like a ribbon, but thats just because I prefer the original Roll to floating, scissors head Roll. What kind of weapons might this model have anyway? And please tell me that ribbon scissors are not the weapon...

Eh, I kinda like the antennae. You should have seen the originals I originally had if you think these are too antenna-like... (actually, that's my excuse -- my real reason is that I couldn't make it look right) No, the antennae/ribbons are not weapons. XD Though I was half considering it... then I decided "Nah, too cheesy."
I was thinking something like this: the uncharged primary weapon would be an arrow. She could only fire one at a time, but it's pierces through enemies and won't stop until it hits a wall. Charged shots would function like MM8's Arrow Shot -- it would travel a distance and then split apart; one would continue the direction is was going, one would go diagonal-up, and the other would go diagonal-down.
The secondary weapon, I haven't really thought about, but I was half considering a broom (<.<), though I don't know at the moment how I would make it different from the other melee weapons...
Another abilities would include regenerating if she stood still long enough (much like X3's version), but it would only be one unit every few seconds and wouldn't fill Sub-Tanks.
Okay... I've added some more Biometal sprites, an energy meter, and am trying out a couple of different palettes. I kinda like the one in the middle, but what do you guys think?

Thanks! I too like the ribbon a whole lot better than the antennae; abandoning the Model R and coming back to it later helped me look at it with a fresh perspective.

I seriously haven't had ANY time to sprite, since I got thrown a bunch of midterms. At the moment, it's mostly headswaps and recolors, but sprites that I actually have worked on are in the red boxes. Those sprites are some of the Standing sprites, the Hurt Standing sprites, some of the Walking sprites, and the Transferring sprites.
Oh yes, by the Running and Jumping sprites are some of the alternate heads. How did those turn out?
Oh, and for the transferring sequence, I want to create a GIF, but I'm having trouble separating the individual sprites (as in, I can't figure out where one sprite ends and the next begins). Can someone help me?
And yes, I finally turned to Imageshack. Photobucket didn't like sheets that big...

Hair ribbon will probably be the last thing I add, so that it's easier on me. I haven't made any significant progress on Model R since, so I won't show it again yet.
Also, I found some sprites in my folder that I had completely forgotten about.

Okay! I'd REALLY like some critique on this if nothing else, since I'm still playing around with it for the contest.
As you can tell, I added a LOT of detail on the background. The one on the left is with the color limitations, and the one on the right is how it actually would look compared to the original if I could use more colors (sprite layers).
EDIT: Oops, wrong image. It's fixed now. The one on the bottom is with the color limitations, and the one on the top is how it would actually look compared to the original with more colors.

The QuickSoul is an incredibly old sprite where all I literally did was recolor Megaman and paste bits of Quickman on him. But thanks anyways. ^^

Model R is taking a bit of a backseat at the moment. <_< Sorry, but I just don't feel motivated to do it at the moment. I will, however, probably come back to it eventually...
I would, however, like a few opinions on this. It's Model O. I found the 4 left-most sprites in the Unused Sprites section of ZX, and decided to expand on it. The other poses are all 100% scratch, and I'm quite proud of them. However, to me, something seems... off, about them, particularly the angled ones. Any advice?

That thing on the back is really starting to bug me. On side view it sticks out, but in the 45 degree back pose it's partially inward and because of it, it just flips in and out in animation.

It's an expansion and a very simply edit, but the cloak and shoulder plates are scratch. There's normally twelve poses per job, but I've only finished seven so far. Right now, I just want to know if it looks authentic, and whether the palette works. Because he has like, three colors on his normal outfit, I found it difficult to find a good-looking palette.
Oh, and if you're wondering when I'm going to finish some sprites... let's just say I have a short attention span. ^^;

I know they look funny, but that's how they are in the game. Other characters such as Bartz that can learn the Mime job wear it that way. Maybe I should post the ingame sprites of Bartz in his Mime costume so that you can compare...

Thank you. ^^ They were really, really simple edits (since the Mime job is just Freelancer with a cloak) so I'm not too proud of them. XD I'm gonna try to at least single-pose the four other Jobs that Galuf didn't do (Oracle, Cannoneer, Gladiator, Necromancer).

What I'm really proud of is that I scratched them. I looked at the NPC little boy's running sprites and meant to edit them, but I actually found it easier to scratch the sprites. <.< They're very heavily based off of him, however.

The shading has slightly oo much contrast. It's too light in the light shades and too dark on the dark shades.

I agree with that change. Canon or not, who cares? It works really well.
The only thing I can say right now about Ashe wearing Model O is...that's the way a female Zero was meant to be made. The hair goes great with the armor, for which Zero was always ridiculed. But it just fits well.
I'm glad you didn't decide to do a Gray-wearing-Model-O...because it wouldn't look right for Zero to have cables out the back of his head instead of his signature long elegant hair.
Great work, and love the animation.

I'm pretty sure those of you that know me saw this coming. My take at a Model Quint. Scratched. No Chosen One yet, can't think of a good design for one at the moment... I'm sure that the arms could use a bit more shading, but what about his helmet (that's what I'm most worried about).
