Sorry about Medic Man. I meant to put him in, but I completely forgot about him when makeing the list, so I'll edit my list and put him in there. He may end up in the game though. But maybe not as a bad guy...

But I'd like to say that no robot master in history has ever had less than 6 frames. (6 being centaur man)

You realise that really does mean nothing, you could sprite the same thing for 20 years and not get better, and some people can get better in a few days. Having lurked through BnG forums I see people get exponentially better at spriting in a matter of weeks, while some people claim to have sprited for longer than possible and still suck.
EDIT: Also, you guys have to realise that none of these sprites would actually go in an MM game, they have too many colours per square.
Real 8-bit=4 Colours including transparency per 8x8* square.

I think it's fine if you want to dispute your score in a contest, but don't be a baby about it. It's a matter of opinion, and if the judge felt sprite A was better than sprite B, then tough. If the judge really wants to, they can change the score. By no means do they HAVE to.
A contest is a little friendly compitition, and you should use it as an oppertunity to get better and see how you are compared to your peers. The golden rule of a contest is to enter for FUN. If you enter for any other reason, it's just going to be tougher on you when you don't get what you wanted.
In this case, Cutman, suck it up and do better next time if you're upset. And for the record, scratch sprites aren't automatically good sprites. In this case, I would agree that the sprite that used the base turned out better then the ones that didn't.
And to the judges: It's usally better to post all the scores at once, so you avoid confusion. Frankly, this thread is very confusing to me.

It's 4 colours including transparency per 8x8* pixels, go to a NES Emulator and go to tile viewer, the only time MM's Peach colour shows up is in one 4x4, his face, and no blue. Your one might actually be right I haven't bothered to check.

Okay! All judges judged, so it's time for the dicision!
that's because they were clever when they made mega man. All the sprites in that game were layed out in an 8x8 grid (all the sprites in any NES game were layed out as 8x8 tiles, actually), and each tile could have a certain pallet index assigned to it. Megaman's body was a completely different sprite than his face, and they both used completely different palletes.
(I'm no programmer, so my terms might be wrong)

roms are illegal unless you own the original game. I own megaman 2,
so no worries.
