He's a member of the BnG forums. He's pretty well-known there, I think. I also remember him working with background sites, but I only know a custom mall for sure. I don't remember if he was involved with this site too.

That's pretty close. He was a well-known member of BnG, and he even started the BnG mall. (they were backgrounds that all took place in a mall). More people remember him as the webmaster/admin of the Background Exchange. The BGX was the background site to go to before the BGHQ.

I think it was around the 2nd year of the BGHQ that IBM and I talked to Watar about merging the BGX into the BGHQ. He liked the idea, and so all the backgrounds that where on BGX, went on the BGHQ.

He never really hacked the site. :P IBM and I still get people contacting us when ever that error message appears. XD
