Is there any tile ripping program for GBA emulators that works better than VBA's? I can't make sense of anything on the Tile Viewer

The VBA tile-viewer is the best tile viewer for GBA games there is. The real tile-ripping programs(Tile Molester, YY-CHR...) are even more confusing.
If you want to make it a great deal easier, you can change the palette with the little bar. You should find the real palette after a few tries.
But when ripping from GBA-games, I highly suggest using the OAM-viewer instead, even if it only shows what's on the screen right now. It's much easier to use than the tile-viewer.

Ok. I wanted to try and get used to Tile Ripping on GBA games so it would be somewhat easier when I try to Tile Rip DS sprites.
BTW- Where do you get TM and YY-CHR?

You can Google for TM, but not really for YY-CHR. Most downloads for that come with viruses.
