There is a glitch or two, but all I have to do is make the battle chip system, and the battle stuff will be easy from there. All you can really do is do the best you can against Astro Man (Thanks to Boilman, Jace, and Netsaver for him, make me more if you can!).

Just incase you haven't taken it for granted already, but I've hit a major road block on Megamet that I haven't been able to fix...and if I do fix it, it works for one level, but screws another up.

...I'm going to say you didn't do something right when posting, cause all we see is code...

Nah, I changed it.

Heh, you really snuck under the radar with this one. It's pretty good for a starting battle engine.

Thanks, the program I'm using is perfect for 2D games. Even isemetronic games like Megaman Battle Network (the map is isemetronic, not the battles).

How do you like my Astro Man? I'd like to think he's pretty tough, so I only gave him 700 HP... I think he'd be a little too hard with more, even with more battle chips than just a mini bomb. Him moving twice in a second and his unpredictable movement and attacking make him hard to hit with your little bomb...what I do is hit him when he's doing his little 'Gravity Shift' attack, I call it, when he stands at the very back middle row and makes his little droids shoot out missles.

In case some of you haven't figured it out, the controls are in the games description, to the right of the download button.

Hey, i'm almost done with the custom system. I just need to work out the ADD feature and the random chip in the Custom Menu and it's done. I just got a new computer and I still have some files to transfer from my old one, including this game.

I'd like to have more than just a Mini Bomb. It missed and I had to beat AstroMan with just a buster! It took a long time!! How long do ya think it'll be before we see some more?

I'm just about done with the chip system, I just need to work out a few bugs. Don't worry, can't take more than a few days. I also have a couple other things to do, so it'll take a little longer than if I work on it straight through... actually, working on it staight through would burn me out, to where I didn't want to work on it at all anymore. It's happened to me before.

And you do know that you can charge the Mega buster, don't you?

UPDATE!!!

You now can use the chip system, although you only have 5 minibombs and 5 geddon1s that don't even crack enemy panels, it's still a massive leap!

Yep, I knew you could use charging. ;)

EDIT: Hey, how come you put in a Geddon anyway? If they only crack your panels, what's the point? And maybe instead of a MiniBomb, it should be a ParaBomb.

Woah, great battle system in battle, Mhhm you can make a cursor to select the chips???

Oh well, this can be one of the best games in Sprites INC Games section.

Keep Working ON

Yeah, I like that feature. Hey, is it gonna be all battle or is there gonna be overworld as well?

There is, but I want to make and perfect the battle system first. Compared to that, the overworld is easy.

Click on the chips. It would take me 30 seconds to think of that. I think too many people ask me that question. And, you can't de-select chips yet.

The geddon isn't complete yet because there are tons of variables involved with the tiles because of the many different kinds, and I want to complete Megaman's tiles then just dupicate it and make the enemy tiles. It'll be easier than editing both of them when something goes wrong. And, I have no clue what a Para bomb is. I've only played up to MMBN 4. I have all chips on 1 and 2, all standard chips on 3, I'm only missing Darkman V4 and Drillman V3 & V4, and Mistman V4. I only have 3 giga chips, but I know what they all are. My BN 4 file got earased, through a glitch. I havehn't started played BN 5 just yet.

And, if ANYONE knows where to get some sound effects, I would greatly appreciate it.

(offtopic)Well, I really suggest you skip all the way up to BN6, because, since it's the last Bn game, Capcom decided to include most of the chips and program advances ever used in BN.

I think the peak of the series was BN 3. The only reason I'm planning to play the others is so I can say I got all the chips that you can get without cheating in every single standard MMBN game (so that doesn't include BN 4.5).

But back on topic.

Something's up with the chip system, I have absolutely no Idea what it is, but I'm trying to fix it.

MAybe I can help.Tell me the nature of the problem and maybe I can figure it out.

No thanks. Sorry, it's not that I don't want help, it's just that I don't want you to say, "Oh, that's not a good way to do it, do it like this" and I'd have to pretty much trash everything and do it your way. It's actually happened to me before.

The best thing anyone can do to help is give me custom (or edits) viruses and Navis for my game. Or, for the PD section. That way anyone can use it.

I made a topic requesting this stuff on the Game Maker Forum (GMC), and two people posted saying that they might if they got around to it. Then the topic went down to page 13 when they got around to it. If they got around to it.

I think there are some customs on http://www.sprites-unlimited.com/
I used one in my comics. I liked it. It was WaveMan.EXE.

PS: ParaBomb is in BN5, it's a bomb that spreads and paralyzes the squares it hits. Here's a diagram.
