well ppl tommoro is 06/06/06 and theres an uproar bout it being the end of the world. wot do u think. personally i dnt think it is but thats me.

I agree with you. theres been a 06-06-06 every 100 years and the world never ended so why would it now?

A real time end of the world tommorow is doubtful.

Hell, Mich.-
Mayor John Colone and owner of a souvenier shop planned the celebration to the letter-- er... number.
"I've got '666' t-shirts and mugs. I'm only ordering 666 [of the items] so once they're gone, that's it," said Colone. "Everyone who comes will get a letter of authenticity saying you've celebrated June 6, 2006, in Hell."
Most of the stuff will sell for $6.66, including deeds to one square inch of Hell.
Live entertainment and a costume contest are planned; along with The Gates of Hell being installed in the park in time for the festival.
"They're 8 ft tall and 5 ft wide and each gate looks like flames, and when they're closed, it's a devil's head." Colone told the Detroit News for a Saturday article.

Yeah, the world's absolutely going to end..... I mean, every other time that people predicted that a major disaster would come due to a specific numerial coming up on our calendar have happened, right?
Well... since the person who started dates *allegedly* started at Jesus' death with year 1, and the dates are supposed to count years after death, if the apocalypse were to occur on6/6/06, it would be next year, as it would be biblically 6/6/06 then.

Most people seem to be forgetting the fact that the date is not 6/6/6 at all. It's 6/6/06. Whoamg, a zero's in there! Totally not the same number anyway. And more accurately (putting aside the fact that the years are all f'd up anyway) it's 2006, not 6 or even 06. Sorry, had to rant! ^_^

Well today i had a decent day. Even went to two cemetrys and didn't see any mutants rising from the graves to feast on the living.

my mom whent to the store and the thing that cashes money brought up 666.And she had a wonderful day....gulp
My day was uneventful as far as armageddons go.

It irritates me how everyone gets in a panic about the world ending on days like this one. "Oh my crap, an inevitable number sequence appeared in a date! Everyone run!" It's ridiculous. It's in the news, for cryin' out loud. The date is not news!
( In case you weren't aware, the world ended on 6-6-1960, but everyone was so stoned that it just felt like a really bad trip. )
