Staff Positions opening at INC.

There are three staff positions opening up for Sprites INC. We're actually understaffed - i'm pretty damn busy, Barubary can't help out all the time and.. yeah...


Position One:
Forum Submissions Updater:
This is a generic updater position.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Longtime member and trustworthy.
* Basic HTML knowledge. If you can use tables, hotlinks and stuff, then you're fine.
* Some form of photo editing software. Paint doesn't cut it. I'm serious. You can't update INC sheets with Paint. GIMP is free, google it.
* Patience to edit pallettes, reorganise sprites, and generally correct stuff. This isn't just uploading sheets, it requires ALOT of time to do the editing.
* High level of Megaman Knowledge. Sorry, but if you can't tell the difference between a Power Battles and Megaman 7 sprite... you're not cut out for this.

Position Two:
Repairman:
Simple. Throw me a bone and help me correct the masses of bloody awful INC sheets.

REQUIREMENTS:
* See above.
* Even more patience.
* Free time.
* Not be colour blind. Helps alot.


And finally...
Right... I said INC was expanding, yes?

Theres a third position coming up. Once we get INC sorted, i'll tell you what it is.

1) You know me, I've been in the megaman community since 2004, etc etc etc......

2) Some basic knowledge. Do-able. If I don't know, I'll learn.

3) I've Photoshop and GIMP.

3) I do think I possess enough patience. Enough patience to sit through a extremely long lag with my 248MB Ram PC. (Supreme Commander and my PC dont mix. At all.) (Going on trips to Nepal tests your patience... Cause you'll be on a small bus without any form of entertainment for 12++hours. Seriously.)

4) Well, I've do think I'll be able to differenciate. It's pretty basic.

But I DO have a certain assumption of what the third job would be :)

AddIt: BTW, how much HTML should I exactly know for the first job? I just noticed that I DO have some basic knowledge in it, but only VERY basic.
I'll still be probably rather a repairman, as I guess few other people would want to do that job.

1. I've been around the block, maybe not a lot on the Rockman/Megaman circuit, but I've been around.

1) Well, I believe you've known and trusted me enough to do what it is to be done. :/

2) I knew taking that HTML class last year would pay off, I have samples I can show off if you don't believe me.

3) I own Photoshop and PaintShop Pro, and am proficient with both when it comes to spriting.


4) Patience? Let's just say that I'm STILL ripping Eregion from X4. :P

5) I believe I can distinguish the difference between Megaman and X ;)

It just hit me, for the Updater position, we'll need to upload the sheets...so would it be an online one (like Photobucket, Geocities, etc.) or is it through FTP?

Both positions require FTP programs.
How-ever that is not a problem as Core Ftp (http://www.coreftp.com/) is a free FTP program.

The basic HTML requirements are ... really basic. Just need to know how to use tables and the like.

Damn, I wish I knew HTML. Or used something other than Paint. I know absolutely no HTML. But I have a lot of Megaman knowledge. I can definetly
tell the difference between Power Battle and MM7..Ah well. I'm just a kid anyway.

I haven't spent a lot of time helping Inc. out as of late, so I'd be more than willing to be a Forum Submissions Updater, or even help as a Repairman when I have some spare time (that's probably where the most help is needed anyway XP). My only problem would be that I don't know much html, but I'm sure whatever I don't know I could learn pretty quickly.
