From what I've seen on here, it looks like everyone's making new ZX models like nothing, or at least pumping them out pretty quickly. Is it really so easy to make models or am I seeing it wrong?

It's actually not that easy. I'm having a hard time, too. It's hard to make something original, and non-mediocre-looking (no offense to anyone here at SI) for me.

Well, almost all of them are made using the same base. But yes, it can be easy or difficult. Depends on the ingenuity in it. For example, look at my Marino Model(see link in sig). That wasn't so easy to make. But I've made others that are.(see char in my avi)

Meh, I think models suck. But that's because I don't like the ZX series.

Any series based off of the Zero series are fail in my book.

But yeah, a vast majority of models I see are nothing really special, in my eyes. No offence to anyone here, that's just how I feel...

For the sheeted models I have, they are really have a generic appearance, which makes them easier to make.

In addition, I have pre-made sheets that I cropped/assemble to build the model's basic sheet. However, this primarily applies to the sprite's basic frames (stance, movement, damaged, etc...).

The attacks, however, are individually made.

One way to get your sheet completed faster would be to have a very good idea of how your model should look and act beforehand. That way you can get all the necessary pieces (Colors, details, base (unless you decide to scratch it) together before starting the sheet.

Ok, thanks for the info. I just thought I might attempt one just because that's a lot of what I see on here. That and ZXA rips. I actually haven't played the game though.

[edit] It also might be a good change from those X3 ride armors I make.

Basically, you take one sheeted model (like X), plonk in some details and recolor and call it model XYZ.
