Im fairly new to the whole posting on a forum but ill skip straight to the point:
I make 32bit MMX style sprites, bit of bit of edit, then scratching on it and people to C+C on this character im making. If its too much edit and not enough scratch, just tell me and ill fix it.
Well I like it, but is that mmx 32 bit?!
Yep, I used Zero for a basic body template. The clothing was pretty much scratch, took me ages to get the right preportions.
Well then : Great! I didn't know what the base is! ( people are saying thats good )
Thanks, im working on another pose atm of him with arms crossed but its difficult.
Yea I know I wonder how the big guys are diong it so fast

Great sprite. I can still recognize the pose but the extensive edits and scratches make up for it.

I also need a name for him, Ive thought of Atton but i think it doesnt seem to fit. Any suggestions? And hes an Outcast Demon, In between Good and Evil. XD
I like it, but whit the hologram; maybe should you do special effects like cyber elf X (mmz)
Yeah i could do, ill work on it and see if any effects do fit. At the moment im working on an attack sequence and ive come up with the idea of him doing a sort of single hand DBZ 'kame-hame-blah-blah-blah' style blast and having a handgun for another attack sprite. Any ideas? please tell me
Maybe doing an Masenko and big bang together with an final flash :D
ill think about it. Wht about physical attacks? mainly punch or kick?
id go with Atton for his name sounds cool and mysterious, and id go with kicks they're normally more powerful

Thanks Jace. Kicks can be quite tough sprites to pull of but ill give it a shot, ill give requests to people if i cant pull it off.
To Mikado: Hes already going to have a handgun for a weapon.

Made two handgun sprites. Credit to 'Pillbox Phil' (who is awesome) for making the amazing guns sheet he made on TPS site. The second pose the arm was 60% scratch and 40% edit from the Axl sprite sheet by BlackBeltDude (hes also awesome). C+C and hope you like it:D
When holding his handgun straight; his hand is bit to long

As for kicking poses, im working on a Bruce Lee flying kick which i should be able to post up when im done.
Make sure to let his "cape" move :D

well my main aim was better shading on the cape but there seems to be a problem with the legs now

Ive made a new attack and 2 more handgun poses.
The new attack is a dark magic attack and i need a name for it and C+C on it.

really? hmm ill look at it and see wht i can do. Any suggestions for the name of the attack? I was thinking of 'Blood Fury'
show the rest of the attack then we may be able to come up with an idea
Well its an attack that can only be used on one opponant. Im making the sequence at the moment. Atton immobilizes his opponant, charges up his final strike which is a blade made out of blood which appears from the floor and cuts the opponant.
to Mikado: no fist is involved unfortunatly

Just abit :D but the names i have at the momnent are, Blood Fury, Blood Punisher or Blood Blade

Well that is what the attack is, it using blood. But the next attack im experimenting with is without blood

Its been a while since i posted anything because ive been doing exams but ive finally got a small sprite sheet with some new poses:D spot them out, there's five new poses, and ive also added the 'Omen Blade'

dude is that jpg, or are that just mine eyes
yes it is a jpg so if any theives try to claim it for they're own, they have to get rid of all the extra colours and they arent going to bother doing that.

Update: Been working on the sprite sheet for a while now and ive gotten rid of the sword poses and now added different poses. Ive also changed the running pose to make it more scratch.
EDIT: due to some problems on the 'Bob and George' forums that has happened to me, i wont be posting my sprite sheet untill its 100% custom

I know have a new sprite sheet in progress, still using the same name but this time as a Human in reploid armour. 32 bit PSX style. Ive done two seperate colourings, Holy and Satanic.

They're both good, but the red one looks better.
Well Holy, is Waaaaaaaaaaay to light. And the contrast, is a bit to.
The red one, is good.
The 'Holy armour' IS meant to be light and i was going for the very bright look. And it seems ive accomplished that. Look foward to some more poses soon and I might make some unique poses for the 'Satanic' and some for the 'Holy'.
Well, you can make the holy armour less "burnoutmyeyes" Maybe making it Light grey? That the same thing I did woth my sprites. Or VERY light red...
hmm i could make it more 'silver' than pure white, ill probably get it done tomorow.

Quite a big update today folks.
I have been working on a Request for Calypso. He wants an EXE electric enemy turned into a MMX4-6 style sprite. Im going to make it into a PD sprite sheet soon but only when its done. And a lil C+C would be very helpful XD

Also ive been working on a MMZ style Demon which is hopefully going to be shown in 'The Unbalanced Blade' Fancomic by Franco on BnG. C+C on this aswell please and any ideas of some extra poses? (nothing to fancy) Oh yeah, the Demon has no relevance to the megaman universe WHATSOEVER so dont say stuff like 'Does he work for the Resistence' Etc etc etc

And last of all, My main personal character Atton. Ive been working on him for quite a while now and i desperatly need some C+C because i need some ideas for Slashing poses AND Buster poses.

Atton is good, but hte mmz charqacters head is off.
Also, the electrick guy looks abit scrachty.
However, good sprite overall.

The shading on the thunder guy's head is odd.... That's all I noticed.
@Mikado: its meant to be slightly foward. If it was 1 pixel back, it would look odd. And of course the Electricdude is meant to be scratchy, thats the whole point.
@Twitzer: Does it need to be more round or what? you actually need to tell me what i should do, not just say 'its odd'.

I didn;t mean that his head is to far forward. His face is just messed up.

Sorry about that. The shading doesn't look round enough. It's awkward looking, and unrealistic. It should move around the circle in a crecent pattern.
@Mikado:Well its a MMZ style sprite, theres not much detail on a face of that size. Also ive done the same thing ive done with Atton with the Black face tattoo across the face. Its more sinister.
@Twizter: thank you for telling me. Ill get to work on it right away.
Something that would be helpfull: When demon atton is rapidly moving his "blade" Don't make very long "teleport lines" Use more, but shorter ones!
Mikado, you have made no sense whatsoever. He has no blade. And by "teleport lines" i guess you mean the dash.

The right one is the good one. More but, shorter teleport lines.
Update, been doing work on some new characters and C+C would be helpful. Especially for Hzana since hes still an experiment.
Heres Atton Streak. More sword slashes added and a few small edits made to make shading abit better, etc. C+C and any ideas on different slashes would be nice to.

And heres Hzana. Ive dumped the idea of him having the same armour and head as Atton (so un-original) and replaced the armour with something more like X's and im going to give him a Zweihander sword too. For thoses who dont what a Zweihander sword is, its a very big sword XD
C+C and suggestions about colour schemes would be helpful. Thank you

For atton; You could make for him salto slashes.
And an up-slash followed by an rapheal like slash( I hope you ever played soul calibur) The possibilities are almost un-endless.
MEGA UPDATE!!!
Ive been kinda busy lately which is why i havent posted anything but im back and im going to be posting alot more.
First things first. 32bit MMX style sprites are in the bin! I got bored and now ive been working on MMZX and MMZ sprites!
Im still using my original character 'Atton' since i cant be bothered to come up with a whole new person/reploid etc etc. So...... Heres Atton in ZX form!

UPDATE: Some custom new poses for Atton and also i have some news too.
I will be creating my own comic soon once i get my new laptop which will consist of MMZ and MMZX sprites. I thought I'd mention it on hear before i do a comic thread and not show and example of my work and get in trouble for it.
But back on the subject of this being a sprite thread, heres the link to the new poses of Atton. If anyone can work out where i got the idea from, ill give you a prize :D (avatar or maybe even a custom sprite)

Well, I like the MMX styled ones; I don't see many problems with them. But the MMZ ones... I think what it is to me is that I can still see a lot of Zero in them. Maybe tweak the armor more? Put some demonic spikes and what not... That's all I can really say. Sorry, I have no intent to offend.
Thats perfectly fine critisism WorenX. I have been working on added more details to the armour on the MMZ style sprites and i will be posting the actual prototypes soon once ive made about 5 or maybe 10 different ones.
