Mega Man Xtreme 2 question

I'm sorry if asking such a trivial question is inappropriate here, but I really hope that someone will be able to answer this. When you first go to the stage selection screen (with the boss mugshots indicating each world), which Maverick boss is highlighted by default for X and Zero's mode, and for the Extreme mode. Again, I know it's a trivial question, but I'd really appreciate help in getting an answer. Thank you.

X starts off against Neon Tiger, and Zero starts on Wire Sponge, though in all honesty id suggest going about killing the mavericks in how you think is the best way.
