*Gasp* I do rips! O.o
I thought I'd try AnimGet.

Now, it's very possible that there are inconsistencies since I had to edit out the elf and other effects.

Woo, cool. I was wondering if anyone did any Z-Knuckle grab weaps. Good job SC.

I just worked on that.
The problem, why I didn't submit it...
There are four types of Z-Knuckle weapons. Shooting, slashing, punching, and throwing. Zero's animations are always the same in a category, means shooting a laser beam has Zero make the same animation as shooting a burning little sphere or any other thing. My plan was to rip Zero just doing one of these four actions, without his weapons, and not only while standing, but also jumping and wall-climbing(AFAIK, no ZK-weapons can be used on a wire, but I'm not sure yet), and his weapons sperately. It uses much less space on the sheet, while the time needed to rip them is doubled(use of an OAM-viewer, etc etc). I don't know which of these two variations is right, the fast one or the one that takes up less space, but I'll probably keep on ripping them my way... :/
Oh, and, because of the elf: If you set all features of the elf to 0(So that there won't be any portaits in the elf's window, only grey cubes), your elf simply won't show up. There will be no need to edit him out or anything.

Tile ripping's very vogue on S. INC. Boy has times changed......
You COULD just edit out the weapons using Paint. There's not much actually covering them, especially the shooting ones.
Slashing might be easier to keep on the sprite tho ...... it's hard to orient slashes .....

...Vogue? I don't know such a word... Would you please educate me?
Yeah, some weapons can be easily edited out(Such as the lightning weapons), but others, such as the Poplan, can be tile-ripped for even smaller size... Which is my goal. Also, having slash weapons still together with zero is a bad idea... Take a look at this.
Say, two slash-animations have 10 frames. Now, there are two ways to sheet them.
One is, to keep them on Zero. This'd be like this:
10 sprites of wpn1 standing.
10 sprites of wpn1 jumping.
10 sprites of wpn1 wallclimbing.
10 sprites of wpn2 standing.
10 sprites of wpn2 jumping.
10 sprites of wpn2 wallclimbing.
A total of 60 sprites.
The other version is to keep them seperated:
10 sprites of zero using both weapons standing.
10 sprites of zero using both weapons jumping.
10 sprites of zero using both weapons wallclimbing.
10 sprites of wpn1.
10 sprites of wpn2.
Makes 50 sprites. And less used place.
Sorry if this is to long, I just wanted to do a little argumentation.

Yeah, you might be right. But I'm old-school. I like pre-made a bit more than in-parts for times like these. Like making some sprite too small. Sometimes it's not as helpful as knowing the range of their attack.
Editing out Zero ought to get you most of those sprites he uses. And sometimes overly scalar sprites can be kinda confusing. Like the X2 giant guy .... to make proper use of him, I'd really need a picture to know how many balls are for his legs. Of course the previous sheet was rediculous, but you get the drift. *Sometimes* bigger is better.
But I suppose I see where you're at with the swords. Still, you might be able to edit Zero out to get most of the frames. Use tiles to fix parts that might be broken later.
Edit:
I actually don't remember that Poplan attack - I didn't use the grab feature much. But my main point is: if it gets you 90% of the attacks ...... at 90% of the usability ......
You know. *shruggs*
As for vogue.
1. something in fashion, as at a particular time: Short hairdos were the vogue in the twenties.
2. popular currency, acceptance, or favor; popularity: The book is having a great vogue.

You're kind of right with the number-of-parts fact, but I think that's easy to fix... Just put an example of the complete sprite(in case of the Poplan and such with the greatest range) besides the sheet. Easy task.
I'm too perfectionistic to just edit something out - I always think that I might be removing some pixels per accident...
The Poplan was that plant-like enemy which stood on the ground and grabbed you if you wanted to go past it.
I didn't use that feature either until I started to rip it's sprites, the only actual time I used it was in the Hibernation Chamber, where I stole the weapon of a V.Fire because fire is Fenri Lunaege's weakness... I was very disappointed to see that it actually did only as much damage as a normal saber slash... :/
Thanks about that vogue-thing, now I have a new word in my vocabulary! *laughs*
