I know it starts abruptly, I still need to flesh out the part that happens before this one.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scene 0-1: Introduction
Mari: Ah, here we are. Sci-Lab 12. This is where we'll be taking today's field trip class. Sci-Lab 12 is the place where Sci-Comp 12 is located in real life. We use Sci-Comp 12 as the server for the training arena at the school. Be sure to stay close, and follow the rules in place, all right?
Students: Yes ma'am...
Mari: Now then, if you find a virus in here, don't try to take it head on. If you can, try to contact this area's Hunter navi, it's his job to get rid of the virii in the area. He should be in Area 1.
Megaman: Lan, do you think we'll have to worry about that?
Lan: Knowing our luck, probably!
Megaman: Lan, be serious.
Lan: You're no fun when you're nervous. I don't think we will, but it wouldn't hurt to seek out this hunter guy before we start running around.
Megaman: Gotcha.
Mari: Now then, everyone jack into the main computer. Once you're inside, take a left to get to the first stop on the tour. The hunter should be somewhere to the right.
SYSTEM MESSAGE (The game is talking to you): To jack into a internet accesible device, walk up to the user interface and press the "N" key. (R1 on a controller.) For example, the interface on a home computer would be the keyboard.
(The player is given control over Lan, and is allowed to explore the lab. When the player does Jack-in, they will be inside Sci-Comp 12, Area-1. Mega Man will remind the player to first take the path to the right, to meet the hunter navi, Sigma.)
Sigma: Hello, I am Hunter model 0-2. I protect this server from viral strikes. Rest assured, you are safe with me.
Mega Man: Nice to meet you Sigma!
Sigma: And you as well, Mega Man.
Mega Man: You know my name?
Sigma: Yes, of course. Any time that any one or anything enters this server or it's sub-areas, I am given every piece of information available on them. It is a safety measure.
Mega Man: Well, it's certainly effective, I haven't hit a single virus since I've been here!
Sigma: Well, you have the security system to thank for that. ...Speaking of which, weren't you on a tour with your school? You should catch up before they leave you here...
Mega Man: Ah! Absolutely right! I'll see you later then.
Sigma: Good bye.
(Mega Man re-unites with the rest of the class)
Roll: You almost missed the first leg of the tour guys!
Glyde: You really should try to be a bit more punctual.
Mega Man: Sorry guys, what'd I miss?
Guts Man: EVERYTHING! It was AWESOME!
Glyde: ...
Roll: Your lucky, she's just starting.
Molly: What you see here is a device called the Swiff-Arm. Swiff-Arm is a large executable that runs an enormous number of processes every half-second. These processes scan the area, return information on all foreign navis and files in the area, send it back to the main controller, Swiff-Head, which reads them, then sends them back. From there, the Swiff-Arm will mark all unarmed navis as safe, set a watch on all navis carrying weapons, and wipe out any viruses. If a virus is to great for the security system to defeat alone, it sounds an alarm, and all Hunters in the area at that time will act against the threat.
Guts Man: That's amazin'!
Glyde: Is there a place to purchase a similar system? I'm sure Mrs. Yai would be very interested.
Molly: Sorry, but the swiff-arm is a Sci-Lab exclusive. You won't have to worry about it though, they are installing Swiff-Arms in every area of the internet as we speak. This process has been going on for a few weeks now, and they should be finished before we get home.
Roll: That's right! I remember seeing that in the mail!
Mega Man: Where is the Swiff-Head located?
Molly: Well, they wanted to keep it a secret, but supposedly it's hidden away in a seperate facility.
(Sigma enters)
Sigma: Even I don't know where that is.
Molly: Oh, Sigma! Hello!
Sigma: Hello Molly. It's good to see everyone made it to today's tour!
Weird Kid's Navi #1: (That is a BIG DUDE.)
Weird Kid's Navi #1: (I KNOW! Friggin' HUGE!)
Roll: Shush!
Sigma: Yes, the 'Swiff' project is a real masterpiece. It was only made operational a few months ago, and in that short time security has increased by...2034%, as of this second.
Molly: That's astounding!
Sigma: Yes...
(Music fades out)
(Sigma turns and places a hand on the Swiff-Arm. His hand glows oddly for a split second.)
(Music resumes)
Sigma: I believe that Swiff-Head will keep me safe for years to come.
Molly: Well I most certainly feel protected, what with you AND the Swiff in operation.
(Sigma removes his hand from the Swiff-Arm)
Sigma: *chuckle* Yes...enjoy your tour everyone, I must be going now...
All: Good-bye!
(Sigma walks-off screen)
Mega Man: What a nice guy!
Lan: I agree! Hey, let's get a closer look at the Swiff-Arm!
