You're kidding me.
I'd pay $50 to see someone in this forum actually try this.
...I'm very, very tempted to now. I have matches, I have an X-Acto knife, glue, and prolly a jar somewhere. I just need flies.

Cryogenically frozen flies? I gotta see this... but I'm sad there's no fire.

but I'm sad there's no fire.
Once the flies get the plane afloat, try shooting 'em down with a homemade flamethrower, composed of a simple super soaker filled with a flammable liquid with a lit flame near the muzzle of the gun.
There's your fire. Just don't forget to do it away from you house. :g_wnky:
I would do this if it wasn't for a few reasons.
A) I'd never put flies in my fridge where the food is.
B) I don't like touching flies due to not knowing where they've been.
C) If caught by my family members they'd possible think I've started showing signs of being a mad scientist.
D) Animal rights group will hunt me down and kill me if they ever saw me doing this (Here in Britain we get all sorts of crazy things from them, like them burying up a dead woman's body because she was linked to animal testing, of course I don't know if it is bad in America as much as England....)

A) Put them under ice.
B) Use fruit flies meant for lab tests.
C) Really?
D) For a fly. Well, I'm not surprised. There are religious extremists who believe that killing bacteria (by breathng them in) is bad.

And in america it isn't as bad. Our government doesn't really care about anybody/thing but themselves. Taxcuts for themselves, Marraige rights for themselves, oil for themselves, etc.

If you really want to be funny you can try using other insects as well (like butterflies but not something that stings or bites you)/
I told my one class about this, so it looks like I've got a project to do now. My teacher's interested in seeing if this'll work. I just gotta find some flies or some other bug.
I wonder if stinkbugs would work...

I don't think Stinkbugs fly. One way to get flies would be to get a bright light source. Or you could use moths.
Last time I checked the swarms of 'em flying around outside, I'm pretty sure stinkbugs can fly. But there hasn't been too big of a stinkbug problem here, so I'm still outta flying bugs. *sigh* Looks like I'm gonna hafta set out a piece of raw meat and lure in the flies...

Good Idea, Here is something to help you as well.
Set the Meat on a plate and leave it outside over night. "Make sure its up high so ants wont get to it" Then when you see Flys on it try and take a bowl and cover the meat so they wont fly away. Then take the plate into the house or something and try to catch them some how.
