He always seems to be looking forward. Shouldn't he be looking toward the left or right depending on which way he's facing as if looking at his enemy?

In MM2, I believe Air Man only faces left anyway.

His pupils look kinda weird. Try moving them 1-2 pixels left, except on the 4th and 5th poses.

That is true. Thats what i was trying to go for. I think the only time he changes direction is when the sprite is flipped

I recently played Mega man 2 and he does face both directions

Airman doesnt have that many sprites ayway...if anything i gave him to many sprites. All most megaman games do is reverse the sprite so they are facing another direction

The eyes need fixing, other than that its acceptable.

Right. I'm agreeing. I was just telling Demon Zero that those sprites were just flipped horizontally.
