Well, I based all of my sprites off of the original megaman, in order to form some kind of pattern to help me learn how to sprite better, but they're more than recolored and I spent a lot of time and hard work on these.

Then you must be blind. There pretty good actually
The casual sprites need more poses and the X one is awesome, The BattleNettwork sprites are good, you should make Megaman.exe 8-bit.
Although Videoman thooks waaaay to much like Megaman.

Keep up the good work! ;)

Thanks for the advice, and I'll get right on it! I'm currently working on more sprites, so I'll do my best. ^_^

Some computers have problems viewing images, so it's no surprise that Blackhook can't see some.

As for your sprites, they could use a bit of work:

The casual Blues is pretty bad. For one, I think his hair is grey, although I could be pulling that out of my arse. Otherwise, the hair's shaped oddly and doesn't look good, especially over his face like that. The scarf shouldn't constantly be suspended in air, and it looks like he has no legs. Just feet.

The Megaman is alright, I suppose, though he looks a bit like Goku. The animation for him putting on his armor looks nice.

The BN maps look fine. The time bomb looks clunky and is at an odd perspective. Megaman looks too much like his 8-bit counterpart and the weapon doesn't seem to "fit" onto his hand. The fire might looks odd animated.

I'll get to reviewing more stuff in a bit...

Edit: X just isn't good. For one, he looks exactly like the original Megaman. Whereas Megaman has the body of a deformed 10 year old, X's is matured and more proportionate. The jewel is out of place, and looks like it was just thrown on there. The rest is a recolour, which is worse than normal because few of those poses fit X. For example, when does X ever slide? He does dash, but not slide. If you want to do that sprite, you should probably start over.

Megaman's new poses, except for the shining ones at the bottom, look awkward. Like he's bending his limbs in ways that they shouldn't be bent.

Videoman's alright, but he resembles Megaman too much and wouldn't look right in an EXE styled game, despite the bittage. EXE sprites tend to lean forward and are more proportionate. The film shining/ripping looks good, though.

These sprites aren't bad, but there's a lot of room for improvement. Still, I've seen plenty of worse sprites in my lifetime, and these definitely have potential.

9- Should you use an base for creating another character, the edit must not in any way resemble the character you've edited. Do your best to change the poses.

Yeah.. and, unless you're going by the Manga's (even then... it's not accurate), that's not Blue's offical hairstyle.

The only piece of Offical art with Blue's without a helmet.. his hair was in a Quiff.

It was on a "seaside image", which had all the Classic Rockman cast (with the exception of Forte, whom was in full armour.) in swimwear... since Auto's Robot Centre isn't in existance anymore (to my knowledge), if anyone happens to HAVE that image lying around, it'd be helpful to put up as reference for anyone doing Blue's without a helmet.

Plus the casual Megaman has way too many running frames. The original Mega only had two.

Oh, i see. I got kinda' confused. BTW, the music video "Titanium Rhapsody" has A cool sprite of helmetless Proto, use that for a reference.

Well actually during the 90's or whatever that hairstyle was cool so since proto is supposed to be cool they made him have elvis hair.

Thanks for the advice, and thanks for sending the helmetless pic. I'll change the sprite. And I know that the original Megaman had different number of running sprites, but I got bored, sorry.
