I've been a fan of megaman since i was just a wee lad. I'm still a megaman fan, but I don't like the battle network series much since they always add something that manages to annoy the crap out of me (liberation missions in battle network 5, finding the points for the tournament in battle network 4)

I make sprite comics using megaman sprites, they're posted here on the forums (Aburrimiento) which I recommend checking out if you like to read about the pathetic made-up lives of megaman and his friends.

I plan to contribute to this forum and I hope to stay here for more than 2 months.

Second, you have to check its rules, and then submit your sprites and if they're accepted they'll be put in the site under your name in the correct section.

I use Maya 2008, which is at my school's expense, and I occasionally toy around with Metasequoia when I'm really bored.

I'm an avid Model ripper. I recently ripped Alia and retextured her (the textures didn't rip) from X8.

I'm currently looking for sprites of Roll for a game I'm designing...(Otherwise I'll have to model all the characters in 3D and then fumble around with making a 3D engine... which is a massive pain...)

'Sup! I'm That Guy Over There, who just happens to be here which is chanced upon being located way up where.

Even though I'd like to say "I'm an old member coming back for seconds!", truth be told, it's been so long since I came back to Sprites Inc., I can't even remember my old username (Trigger Happy, was it? -_-). Even among that, I was never much of a forum goer back then, and I mostly contributed some old stuff for MMBN1, 2, and back when 3 was still out only in Japan; so basically, somewhere in-between the Cretaceous and Paleogen eras. Besides, all my stuff got replaced by much better rips. :P

That said, I can't really say I'm back for the ripping scene. Unlike the rest of the crowd, I never really evolved passed the ancient art of the screenshot-ripping technique, so I'm afraid any rip contribution I'd make would be an obsolete one. However, in a very very long time, I've finally gotten around to opening up MS Paint, and just making/scratching/editing crap in it. And who knows, I might finally get that lucky break of helping out on a fangame that doesn't get canned.

I'm Game Maker Number 001 (GMN-001). I've visited Sprites Inc. for a while and the amount of sprites are impressive. I'm a huge Mega Man series fan, my first Mega Man game was for the Sega Genesis, i've been hooked ever since. I'm starting a very cool freeware project that you can check out by clicking on my sig. Why? Using sprites isnt using forum features. Sprites wern't ripped for credit or for honor or anything. Sprites were ripped for use. You aren't to give anyone credit for ripping and if anyone demands it, it doesnt matter. They didnt make the sprites. You must credit the maker, not the ripper. If the ripper claims the work was done by him, then he deserves NO credit, as this is theoretical stealing. Therefore, not only are you to use the sprites without caring for the rules, but you also shouldnt credit the rippers unless you want to. No one owns nothing. This site realises sprites wern't made by it and shares it with everyone who needs it.

Hiya. I'm Gustaa. I'm 16 (17 on June!!) years old odd fellow from Finland. I'm fan on classic NES-Megamans (and I sometimes play MM7 too, but not so much) Megaman Cartoon (Ruby Spears series, lol) and MM sprite comics (doin' one myself, too). My other hobbies include airsoft, writing and drawing stuff, and... well I quess that's it, pretty much. Oh and my english can really suck ass sometimes.

So by accident I already posted in one of the request threads a few weeks ago and never formally introduced myself on this thread. My apologies....

I only deal with old school 8-bit Mega Man sprites. For about the past ten years I had been collecting sprites and keeping my eye on how the community has evolved in that time. While I never really got involved with doing any ripping myself, I have begun to be more interested in learning how. For the most part, I am after the "complete set" of sprites from all of the 8-bit games. For most of MM1-6, I would say I have just about everything (although I will be posting to the request thread soon for a couple of missing items!) and am mainly keeping tabs on the MM9 and MM10 rips. There are several cut scenes for the latter part of the series which I am more interested in trying to find accurate sprites for. So I hope to get more involved with MM sprites going forward and would love to pick someone's mind about it sometime if they could spare the free time.

Go to tSR, sprite database, other places that aren't dead and 95% of the sprites aren't Megaman ZX edits.

I've been using this place for sprites for sooo lonng, I discovered it upon searching for Prometheus sprites.

I'm okay with making some movies with Swish or something, but I've never actually released anything like that for different reasons. (Usually being lack of sound effects or I almost never finish them)

Tis a shame I never get that far there, really. However I'm more so good with ideas and such, I like being original and creative with ideas. I have studied some plot and formulas by watching some shows/reading some books. I myself am writing a book too! Actually, it's a very large series. (I'd love to babble about it but it wouldn't be very wise especially considering the many trully original ideas I spent years working on just for someone to steal them)

Anyways, I'm glad to me a member here. :D

Im on here for a reason (which you will no doubt read about very soon!) but I am gonna contribute to this place too.. It looks cool and I can see that there are some very talented people on here.

A bit about me:

Well Im an old fashioned bit-artist and have worked in the game industry for many many years.
I am happily married with wonderful children (who always seem to want money for the latest new phone that comes along…tho I have yet to work out how kids can seem to always "need" a new phone, while their’s is only 3 month old!!)

I like all the outdoor pursuits and hopefully if we do get a good summer its BBQ time! Well ok, I CAN live in hope ya know. ;)

On the job front, I am still busy with projects, (one of the reasons Im here actually) and I am also in the process of getting together with a few other "old timers" including mark jones, and we are looking at producing Darkmere 2 for the PC and Intel App Store. However unlike ‘Dragonstone’ this will be the original concept based on what Darkmere 2 was going to be like. Stay tuned for more on that later…I promise I will post updates.
