Am I the only person who hasn't read a Harry Potter book? And I was thinking of reading Eragon but instead I went with Along Came A Spider so I probably won't see the movie.

The books are fantastical, so I doubt the movie will be as good. (they never are as good as the books) then again you never know. I am, however, going to see it the day it comes out...A little "birthday party" for my friends and I (a day after my birthday).

I haven't read Harry Potter! Yeah, the SFX in Eragon look fantastical but the story and acting looks pretty messed up.

Eragon is a pretty "easy" book. There are almost no complecating things.
But the movie looks to be "Igonnakickyourasswithoputhanstory" .
And there vene gonna come an game. The assholers.

The guy wrote the 1st book when he was 15. And as it is, it's still an awesome book.

I heard the movie was pretty bad. The dragon had feathers, Eragon was blonde (I don't have anything against blondes, but he had brown hair in the book), Arya was blonde too (Same as Eragon, only she was supposed to have black hair), and she didn't have any pointy Elf ears! From what I heard, they didn't even mention her being an Elf at all, actually. I always imagined Durza as being skinnier, like Axel from Kingdom Hearts, but whith maroon hair and red eyes. THE DRAGON HAD FEATHERS. And it shoulda been by Peter Jackson.

I know I said that the Dragon had feathers twice, but that really bugged me.

I know, I was disappointed. It was much less violent too, EX) when they went into that town there was supposed to be a pile of corpses. And they wont be able to make Eldest because they killed the Ra'zac and didn't include Katrina.
